Food was EXCELLENT, near perfection, service was mid but they were busy ofc since it's a Saturday morning, however the staff were friendly. I appreciate a manager who runs a tight ship and goes around asking how the food is. Ambiance/environment was decent and clean. Music was good too and not too loud. All in all 5/5!! This is an Annual stop on Veteran's Day when visiting Memphis! However, today service was terrible. Our waitress was cold and complained! We ordered our eggs 'well done', when we got them they were 'wet' we asked for them to just bring some breakfast potatoes. The waitress went back to the kitchen and came back and told us to send the whole plate back. We asked for a saucer we were already cutting the pancakes to eat. We told her no. She got the Manager. Manager came over, brought a saucer, and eventually brought the breakfast potatoes back. That server never came back and we didn't have a waitress anymore. She made sure that all all of our needs were met. I also enjoyed the balloon artist walking around making the small children little prizes at no cost. Our food was served in a timely manner. Unbussed tables, trash on the floor, what looked like a permanently blocked fire exist. Our food was slow to arrive and so cold the butter wouldn't melt on the pancakes. The worst part was the hashbrowns, the were greasy and obviously cooked on a grill which is not cleaned often enough. These is no mistaking that acrid old grease flavor.
