It was a shaky start with a longer than expected wait at the front during our first visit. It turns out one person was running the whole dining room. Once we were seated and got our orders in, everything fell into place and, best of all, they did the spinach and mushroom omelet justice - fluffy pancakes and a properly sized omelet with a good bit of diced tomatoes and spinach. One of my go to places after dropping grandson off at school at 8am, I'm not a morning person but since I'm up might as well hit IHOP. They have a special for $7.00 a ham and cheese omelette, and two pancakes very filling, good bargain however they have this what they call faves hidden in the menu. You have to really look very hard to find it. I had to ask our server where was it and she showed it. She also said they kind of hide it in the menu. The food is decent, but they often forget to pack items you've ordered on a mobile order (Even though there is a receipt showing every item ordered), which results in you having to spend more time, money and energy to do a second pick up, for things that should've been included in the first run. This happened on two separate occasions. Also, the one time we did want an issue on their end rectified, the manager Miracle did nothing to resolve it, except offering me to spend (more) money, by time dining-in, just to receive a 'complimentary stack'. What a great resolution model! The food is decent, but decent food and lackluster customer service, especially for your own mistakes; is enough reason for me to spend my money where it's valued. karrie the manager is very accommodating to all of our pancake needs and she is fantastic and fabulous and she made me feel like I'm at home and I hop is now my second home our waiter Ella Rose was fantastic. The service was good. But the food wasn't as great. I got a Brisk Raspberry Iced tea to be safe and it tased like dirty sink water with raspberry syrup. I don't come here very often as it is always crowded. We came early on a Saturday morning before the rush. We were seated promptly and our server was very friendly. I ordered the pancake platter and substituted hash browns for breakfast potatoes and had the pumpkin pancakes. Enjoyed the carafe of coffee for the table. The eggs were good - a little dry. The sausage links were great, the breakfast potatoes were great - hot, crisp and tasty. The pumpkin pancakes were divine - soft, hot, flavorful - could have eaten more than two. So for breakfast IHOP usually is not the first place that I think of when I'm in the mood for breakfast are usually tend to go for some sort of a local diner or a deli in the group of people that I was with wanted to do IHOP so I figured we would give it a try. At 1:30 in the afternoon this IHOP was busy. I had previously thought. I hops. Only served breakfast. Well apparently they have other items. I don't know why. But that's besides the point. The manager was extremely nice. And accommodating. We ended up running into one of our friends here. Kinda funny. For the food we all ordered breakfast. I ordered the 2 eggs bacon and French toast meal. Another person ordered the ham and egg sandwich. For some reason we had to order the birthday cake pancakes. We dident even get to those. They had like icing over the top with sprinkles. It was crazy. I couldent believe how many calories were in the food. Not a place to come if you are health conscious. The food was good. I have no complaints. It's standard chain food. I asked for my bacon Chrispy. It came out chrispy. I was surprised. Our waitress was very nice tho. Overall. IHOP is a good choice. It's chain. I don't know why people complain on Yelp about the food being from a chain ECT. You should know that ahead of time. If you are looking for a good breakfast. Give them a try. I was craving an omelette around dinner time so me and my wife came here for the evening. A few tables had just sat down before us and the waiter got everyone taken care of in a proper and timely manner. Greeted himself as Kenneth and was very polite and pleasant. Our drinks and food came out quickly. Everything was very delicious including the coffee. Being that it was fathers day, I hope Kenneth got to spend time with his children if he has any. We watched the manager sprint out the front door to the parking lot with a women's purse that was left behind. Although the restaurant was running at full volume, the waitress was perky, friendly and polite. IHOP had no problem making a substitution on my 55 Rise & Shine order. Our breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious. The only reason I'm taking a star away is ambiance. This IHOP is void of any decor or charm, it's a sterile, clinical environment. Finally got out to this new location with the family. It's your typical IHOP location but because it's brand new everything just looks really nice & clean. Service was great when we went and food cooked well. My only complaint was that my side order of bacon (extra) only came with 2 strips of bacon which I thought was ridiculous for the extra cost. He politely asked how can be of service, in which my husband expressed the actions of Kelly towards my mother. After he finished, I requested if Arielle if she can come alongside Manager because I wanted to inquire why did she bring back the food to the kitchen and we didn't request the food to be returned. Fernando request she come to the table in which I inquired in front of the manager why did she return the food? We didn't request for it to be returned. Arielle replied in an elevated and rude tone, " You wanted a manager, so I assumed that we were requesting for the manager because something was wrong with the food. I then stated, how is something wring with the food and we didn't even receive it or tasted it. No one expressed that to you either. You just threw away the food". Arielle then pointed to her manager and said he is here now you can deal with him and walked away. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. As we expressed, NO ONE in addition to the waitress assigned Arielle did not at least say sorry the kitchen is backed up or short today. Arielle behavior was DESPICABLE, DISGUSTING AND DISAPPOINTING. This is the worst IHOP in the Hudson Valley (world?). I've given them several chances as they're close and I really like waffles - but dang. The service is unacceptable. You'll wait 15 minutes for a server, thirty minutes for your check, or you'll just never get waited on at all (what happened to us today, prompting us to walk out after 20 minutes and write this review). I LOVE this ihop. There can be a million people waiting to be seated but hot damn it moves fast. Theres never any change over in servers so its nice to see familiar faces.
