We had such a great experience at IHOP! Our server, Giovani, was absolutely wonderful. From the moment he seated us, he was friendly, fast, and attentive. He took our drink order right away, kept us updated on our food, and consistently checked in to make sure everything was good. One thing that really stood out was an older couple who were leaving as we were waiting for a table. They called out to Giovani and said, "Wonderful job, young man!" We couldn't agree more! He even brought our bill over without making us feel rushed while we were still eating. Everyone was very efficient, but Giovani really went above and beyond. Our booth had some spots on the seats and the previous diner's bill was still on the table when we were seated. Our server stopped by and picked up the bill and took down our drink orders. She was very nice and helpful. A little while later, we placed our food order. The food didn't take long but it wasn't super quick either. We watched as a few people were seated and served. The music mix was a bit odd but overall okay ambiance. My husband's food was good but my items just seemed greasy. Next time I should order toast without butter as it just weighed it down and made it taste soggy. I ordered over hard eggs but it seemed more like 2 scrambled. Wow, I'm glad we chose this IHOP location! To the GM that I met up front and also spoke with briefly as we were leaving, thank you. You were so professional and kind to us and something as simple as going out to lunch with my daughter on a Sunday afternoon turned out to be the best experience I could have asked for. You are doing a great job. I certainly hope it is recognized and appreciated. I was more than impressed by the attitude of the young man who we were fortunate enough to have serving our table. His name is Devon. He has such an incredibly genuine and wonderful attitude. I was kind of shocked at first, like that is exactly the kind of attitude that I honestly hope to have in my own life and he's doing a tough job on top of that and supporting 4 kids. Incredible. My daughter was super happy and even got extra whipped cream and strawberries on her pancakes thanks to Devon who put a big smile on her face when he went out of his way to do that. I've gone here twice now with my mom. The staff was very courteous. My mom is disabled they make sure to hold the door for her. The crêpes were amazing. I love the fruit ones did try one of the Cinnabon ones it was too much sugar for me so if you're diabetic, definitely stay away from that one. Service was fantastic and food was prepared very well. My fiancé and I both had a long work week and thought it would be nice to have breakfast for dinner as a treat on a Friday night. The restaurant was only about 1/3 full but we noticed a very large party in the front. I noticed that they all had their food orders so I didn't anticipate a super long wait. We were sat for about 10 minutes before our server came to our table. We ordered our drinks and food right away. My fiancé ordered the country fried steak and I ordered 2 pieces of French toast with strawberries. Took about 5 minutes for drinks to come. A table seated in a booth in front of us was complaining to the manager about the wait time on their food, which she apologetically informed them that the kitchen was backed up due to the large party in the front. Understandable, but they waited an additional 30 minutes after being informed it would be about 5 more minutes. I noticed that the service was very slow, not sure if they were understaffed or the staff was new and still learning. A line of people had began to gather at the hostess station and no one was being seated. At any rate, after 45 minutes we still did not have our food. Our waitress did apologize and said the kitchen was backed up, however the party that was eating when we first arrived seemed to be waiting for their bill and was ready to leave. We were not previously informed of the wait when originally seated and our waitress didn't give any food updates. My fiancé and I were slightly annoyed and decided that if our order didn't arrive within 15 minutes we were just going to leave cash on the table for our sodas and walk out. The waitress brought out the food just as we were about to leave. An hour had passed since we ordered. My fiancé asked for an extra cup of gravy for his meal since there wasn't much on the plate. The waitress took 10 minutes to bring out another gravy cup. My French toast was okay but it was evident that the strawberries were previously frozen in juice and defrosted for use. Food was okay, met my expectations for a chain restaurant. I'd be willing to give the restaurant another try, might've just been a bad night for staffing. However, my fiancé told me that he had taken his Mom there for breakfast a few weeks ago and his Mother had 4 cups of coffee before they got their food. It was an hour wait then as well and the restaurant was about as busy as it was when we went. They were also informed that the "kitchen is backed up." Idk I'm 50/50. If you go, just be aware that their kitchen might be "backed up" and food may take a while. read more

Very disappointed with IHop tonight because of our bill. The kid's menu clearly states that kids 12 & under eat free between 4-10 pm everyday. We had three of our grandchildren ages 4, 4, & 2 and ordered each of them the Blue's Dazzleberry pancakes ($5 each) and a kids chocolate milk ($2.19 each) and we were charged for each child's meal and milk. When we showed the waiter the menu, he told us that the kid's eat free is only when you order the platter next to the purple circle that says kid's eat free every day.... I disagree! We probably should have talked to the manager but decided to just let it go. I did; however, tell the couple next to us with their grandchildren to make sure they don't get charged for the kid's meals and one of them did order the platter. I was a loyal customer, 2-3 times a week for over a year. I order this morning via the app, went and picked it up and got home, the order was completely wrong, I called to ask for a refund, JUAN (the hairless manager) decided he wanted to argue with a customer, I know what I ordered because it's on the app, but JUAN wants to argue and then refund me in cash? ummmmm no. JUAN walked away and came back multiple times to argue with me when I just wanted the food I paid for. if you want to argue over what you ordered and what they made, this is the place. I went with my husband on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was not crowded. Table was clean and staff was very friendly. I had on omelet with buttermilk pancakes and my husband had French toast. It all was delicious. My husband said the coffee was great. Our only issue was a side order of a buttermilk biscuit which we ordered to share because we love a good biscuit. We both agreed this was the worst biscuit we had ever had. It tasted dry, bland and had too much flour, not enough butter. It also tasted like it had been frozen for a while. The food was good. I think they were a little under staffed but there were several tables. It was a little cold for my wife. They said the heat was off in the morning but we didn't get there until after 9 AM. Should have been warmer by then. My wife's omelet was missing hash browns that were requested. This review is customer service based, on one particular server, Devon. ( not sure if I spelled correctly.) My daughter, and her boyfriend have special needs. I brought them here for the second time today. I have watched through the window to give them space and as much privacy as I can. Devon treats them with kindness, respect, and as though everyone is on the same level, which is why I brought them back today! If you go there, pay in CASH. My bill came to $38.33, I used my venmo card. waitress said my card was declined. That was impossible, I had the app open and we can clearly see that I had more than $38.33. The manager did not know how to "void" that transaction, basically said to me that the " bank" will put my money back. (Venmo is now claiming that money was never deducted, despite my arguing with them, so I am out of $38.33, thanks to IHOP and Venmo while my husband paid for our dinner). Waitress freaked out at us. My husband and I are deaf, communicating with each other in sign language. I can talk. She was so nervous, she dropped my husband's hash brown, forgot his milk and water. I feel scammed and looked down on (I have a Masters degree and both of us are employed). I really could use that $38.33 for this Christmas. IHOP got paid and Venmo has my money. We were super excited to eat here as we didn't have one close to home. I will say it looked clean and nothing was sticky so that's a win for me. Our waitress was friendly but seemed out of sorts. We waited approximately 40-50 minutes to get our food, which again being understaffed totally get, but when we were served our food it was cold and you could tell it had been sitting ready for a while. I was in the mood for a small batch of light and fluffy pancakes and breakfast sausage. I arrived around 2:30 on a Friday afternoon. There were only 2 other small groups of customers in a fairly large dining area. The hostess sat me at a small 1 person table where the table seems 6 inches too tall. I am a normal sized adult male. While waiting for the waitress, I did notice that the manager (an older thin lady) and her staff spend a lot of time giving each other theraputic or conciliatory hugs. I surmized that this is perhaps the way women work together. Still seemed odd. Service seemed fine as coffee was brought to my table upon request. I ordered my 3 pancake stack with 4 breakfast sausage. About 8-10 minutes the food arrived. First thing I noticed is that both the pancakes and the sausage were barely luke warm. The butter I placed on the pancakes didn't even melt. A few minutes later the waitress stopped by to ask how everything was. I told her the food was only luke warm inquiring how long the food had been sitting in the kitchen. She said she could have the plate redone to insure warm food. I declined the offering as I was already half way through with the pancakes. The pancakes were not light and fluffy as I would have expected. After a few minutes the manager who was giving out all the hugs to co-workers came by with the bill telling me she deducted 10% because I said the food was not hot. The bill was $12 and change. I left a tip at the table and proceeded to the front desk. The lady who originally sat me came to the front, took my $20 bill, and clumsily said something about not being able to check me out that the manager had to be consulted. She asked me if I wanted change which seemed strange. 3 or 4 minutes later my waitress came to me and plunked down $7. Conclusion: I can make better pancakes at home from boxed Aunt Jemima flour. I'll likely never go back to this IHOP. I've been to other IHOPs in other states and was expecting superb food. If I wanted luke warm food I would have gone to a breakfast buffet where all the food tends to be luke warm after sitting for hours. And that's what I got from an IHOP. read more
