From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating! We came in with a party of eight, including five children, and everyone made us feel right at home. We were seated at the perfect-sized table for our family, and our waiter, Jake, was AMAZING! If you visit, I truly hope you have the pleasure of having Jake as your server. He was so kind, attentive, patient, and personable, especially with our children. He took the time to interact with them, talk with them, and patiently let them order their own meals. That kind of service makes such a difference, and we appreciated him so much! The food was delicious, the customer service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was just perfect! Even the music was great! My grandsons enjoyed it so much that they couldn't help but jump out of their chairs and dance right there in the aisle near our table! It was such a fun, relaxed, family-friendly environment. And here's another little bonus--the trains! You can actually watch the trains passing by from the restaurant. They come through fairly often, and rather than being disruptive, they add such a unique charm to the dining experience. The kids were absolutely fascinated! It was like having a little extra entertainment with dinner. And can we talk about how adorable downtown Mebane is?! After dinner, we enjoyed a lovely little walk around town. There's even a park just down the street. It was the perfect ending to an already wonderful evening. If you're ever in Mebane, North Carolina, please do yourself a favor and stop by Junction on 70! The new owner has raised prices, reduced portion sizes, increased wait times for food readiness, and increased wait times for food ordering. Nearly all of the front-of-house staff has been replaced and there is a definite vibe of unrest when I walk in now (the few times that I still go there) Chip portions are bleak, the wraps are about two-thirds their previous size, and everything costs more... a recipe for disaster in my opinion. This was the ONE business in Mebane that needed absolutely nothing... it was turn key for any new owner and a guaranteed hit with the locals. Within a few months, the feedback from me and everyone else I've talked to is that it's now on the decline and we no longer recommend it to visitors, or family visiting. Absolute shame... but I shouldn't be surprised.

I'm at the IHOP restaurant at 500 buckhorn rd. Mebane, NC. 27302, check #5117, when my husband and I walked in Hayley (our server) was helping a table of 2 then she turns around ignoring us, another severe comes out of the kitchen walks to service station then says ( hi y'all doing) wanting us to set in back of dining room on a table she's cleaning, I asked to set in front away from air vents (not her section) she said that table is dirty and rolled her eyes looking at other customers and laughing, very bad attitude, later a customer walked in and no one to seat her, she waited and then asked that same server if anyone can help her, server answered after I clean table, lady said how about these tables, server lied and said they're dirty and not sanitized which they were but wasn't her section again, no manager on the floor, Hayley yelled at a customer (I'm not your server) you have to wait for someone at the register, what a mess, I've been to other IHOP restaurants and it looks like it's on its way to close, bad service bad food smelly not going through this anymore. read more

I ordered two sandwiches online for myself, paying for one sandwich with reward points/promotional points and paying cash for the other. When there was an issue with the order and I asked for the two sandwiches to be remade, I was met with extremely disrespectful and unprofessional treatment from the employees. What made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of professionalism and customer service. The employees I dealt with did not have clearly visible name tags, and it was difficult to determine who was the manager and who were regular employees. As a customer, I should not have to guess who is in charge when I have a legitimate issue with my order. I am a retired Army Veteran, and I believe everyone deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I was not asking for anything unreasonable--I simply wanted my two sandwiches remade after there was a problem with my order. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, I felt like I was being treated with disrespect simply for asking for the order to be corrected. Jersey Mike's needs to take a serious look at the customer service at this location, including employee training, management accountability, and clearly identifying managers and employees. I have been a customer expecting decent food and basic respect. Unfortunately, this experience left me extremely disappointed and feeling disrespected. Management needs to address how customers are treated at this location.

I ordered a quarter-chicken dark (always delicious) along with fries and rice & beans. The rice & beans had a 50 cent extra fee. My wife got the quarter chicken dark with fries and maduros (fried sweet plantains). The food was ready when I arrived, and I was handed it as soon as I said my name upon arrival. It was packaged in nice plastic containers-- not so great environmentally but they did keep the heat in and maintained the food well on the drive home. Everything was delicious as always. The chicken is always SUPER moist and tender and scrumptious, made even more amazing with some green & yellow sauce. Their fries are moist and tasty, and the rice & beans had a good flavor. My wife was happy with her food too. The price is really good-- right around $10 for the quarter dark meal deals, before tax and tip. And it's a good portion size overall, too... enough that you're not hungry after, but it's not "over the top" huge. I've always been a big Alpaca fan, and I'm glad to see them spreading to other locations with the same excellent food and fast/ easy service.
