This review is mostly about the cook, not our waitress. We were the only customers there. Only the second party of people that evening. The place was clean. Waitress was fine. Problems encountered: 1. Sent out scrambled eggs when customer ordered over easy. This was remedied. 2. Pancakes were rubbery, had to be cut with a knife. Only one of the two people that ordered them ate them. Part of our party told waitress they were not good but she did not offer any solution or a redo. 3. Fish and fries order came out with cocktail sauce and fry sauce. No tartar sauce as mentioned on menu. They had no malt vinegar for the fish. Waitress offered balsamic vinegar. (At least she offered something.) 4. Asked for side salad, not on menu. Cook sent out some lettuce with some chunks of tomato and about 1 cup of grated cheese in a plastic bag set on the lettuce. Not a pre measured packet of cheese, just a plastic bag, not sealed, like they forgot to sprinkle some on and sent the whole bag out. 5.Country fried steak was on top of hashbowns, made steak hard to cut, as the plate was too small to move the steak off the hashbrowns, which were not good and were not eaten. Overall, we had decided to not eat at IHOP after we went there at Christmas time and the food wasn't too good and the cook was careless with our order then also. We went there this time as the friend that was with us hardly ever gets out and wanted good light pancakes. To say this was disappointing is putting it mildly. Had they been really busy we could look past the issues, but there was no one else there. They actually talked about closing up as it was so dead. I have heard other people say they went there before closing time in the past and the doors have been locked and the lights out. We are not really picky people but we feel that IHOP has gone way downhill and all four of the times we have been there in the past three years it was not very good. I didn't care so much about it. The service sucks, food not bad could be better, and the atmosphere is okay, could be better.

Our last time. Waited an hour and 10 mins to get out food. My son's pancakes had chocolate chips when we asked for regular pancakes. My husband's pancakes were flat, cold and he couldn't cut through them both at one time. My crepes were burned so I sent them back and asked for them to just take them off the bill and I didn't want anything else (didn't want to wait another 30-45 mins for my food). Waitress brought out another crepe plate and I sent them back because I asked for nothing. Had to wait another 20 mins for the manager to take the crepes off the bill so we could leave. Total of 10 tables in the entire place while we were there. I wish I could say it's the first time we have had issues. It's really bad so we're done. read more

Love getting breakfast here! The staff is always very friendly and they actually have a dedicated gluten free menu that is soooo yummy. The gluten free pancakes are super fluffy and buttery! It's an enjoyable and nice place to get breakfast or lunch with friends or your family. read more

Really nice staff, but the service is incredibly slow. I completely understand being understaffed and busy, so I try to be as kind and patient as possible because I too have worked in the food industry! Our waitress was probably the kindest girl I've ever met, but she forgot about 6 different things. I came here with my Husband and we both got some coffee, Olivia kept our cups full and engaged in conversation with us even though she was the only server and it had definitely picked up. I said I'd never go back to this location but went anyways when my husband wanted to go on his birthday and it doesn't appear things are any different from when we last went six months ago. The syrup dispensers look like they never get cleaned. Covered in syrup and dust. I will never order anything from them that uses syrup unless it comes in a pre-sealed container. The service was a lot better than last time; we had a friendly gal that was very attentive and even gave my husband some ice cream because it was his birthday. I wouldn't even give it a 1 star worse service ever! I waited over 15 minutes for someone to come back in the store there wasn't a worker in site then they came from out back and didn't even have my order ready. Another time I went in the girl was on her phone in a booth I looked around for someone and finally she got up and my order wasn't ready yet again. I will never return to this IHOP I think whoever is managing the place needs to get their employees in order and get my structure in there. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST DINNING EXPERIENCE EVER!! First off the table was filthy and the syrup container was so nasty and clogged up that the syrup wouldn't come out and then our waitress Mallory was just awful, rude and spent more time just having fun on the other side of the wall with the waitress and stuffing her face right there on the front counter and i never saw her wash her hands inbetween handling anyone's food and scrathing her face or rubbing the snot of her nose with her hand!! after finally getting to place our order she got us our drinks and then it was a good 45 minutes till we finally got her attention to refill our drinks that had been empty for a good 30 minutes and then waited another hour till our food finally came out and half of it was old and cold!!! Maybe if she spent less time socializing with the other waitress and being on her phone and paid more attention to food sitting up in the window for so long that its old and not even edible by the time brings it out and it's like pulling teeth to get her attention for refills and then when you finally get her attention she has the nerve to pop off with attitude and then to top it off just after she brought our food over a freaking cockroach ran across our table!!!! We have given this location so many chances, hoping our bad experiences were flukes. But again today, there was no one up front to take names or greet guests. There were several disgruntled customers waiting at the check-out desk waiting to pay for their food, talking amongst themselves about how long they had been waiting. Even after one of them went to look ask a staff member for help, no one came. We left and went elsewhere. And unfortunately this is not just due to Covid--we have been have had horrible service issues here that started pre-covid and have just gotten worse. New management is needed. read more

The service was absolute garbage. Waited over an hour for our food when the restaurant was empty and it was no where near closing. One of my friends that came with had several hairs in his food and his pancakes were undercooked. Our waiter Betsy did a terrible job on handing out our food. She actually had dropped some of my friends chicken from his chicken and waffles and didn't even bother to help or maybe replace some of it. You can tell the servers try their best but still not quiet good. Took around 5 minutes to get sat down even though the place was empty. Our server was very polite and got our drinks asap. The orange juice is quiet yummy, but not the food. The food took forever even though there was like 5 people! This spot was very sanitized and spotless. Unbelievable food value, consistently good food, and even masks are mandatory. Now if IHOP does this, why don't others not like Texas Roadhouse do this, my review to follow. I'm from CA. and visiting with family. My concern mandatory mask requirements during this pandemic. My mother enjoyed going here, just about everyday during my time there. The coffee was such a leisure treat for her, able to sit down, grab small bite to eat, all the servers staff were very accommodating. Looks like IHOP is back! Have done a ton of staff hiring is very attentive and food is as always delicious.

We give this Ihop a chance over and over and still get really disappointed every time we go. My boyfriend and I are really patient people so the fact that we felt the need to leave a review is saying something. We walked in and waited about 5 minutes to be acknowledged they finally told us it would be a 20 minute wait to be seated. We told them it was okay. We were seated at right about 20 minutes and waited and additional 15 minutes before a server came to get our drinks. We ordered an appetizer and 2 entrées. We have now been waiting 20 minutes for our food and our server just came to tell us they were out of our appetizer. Last time we were here we got a burger that was severely freezer burned. They gave us a free pancake coupon for it. Dont come her unless you're planning for bad service, okay food, and at least a 2 hour experience. read more

Worst experience we have has was in the Logan Ihop. We went at 10am, not busy, tons of open booths. We waited for 30 minutes to be seated. They sat us at the only dirty table (we cleaned it ourselves) it took the waitress almost 10 mins to take our order. We waited and started noticing that most the staff was in dirty clothes and just not clean. And hour & 1/2 later, we asked if there was problem with our order...because we still didn't have our breakfast., she said no..no problem. I went to the restroom and seen ALOT of food just sitting in the window. It was noon when we finally started to get our food. I said to my boyfriend, check to see if your omelet is even warm. The waitress left and a guy came to our table and reprimanded us for being very rude to his staff. We all looked at each other, said what are you talking about?! The guy proceeded to raise his voice and state that we was being very mean and rude and we could always just leave. Hmm, ok. We looked at our old, cold breakfasts and said ok, we will leave. I didn't realize that waiting Patiently FOR 2 HOURS for our food was being rude. That place was a joke. It was filthy, floors and tables are gross,dirty an sticky. Staff is very rude and uncaring. Had only been to the Logan IHOP once before in the 18 years I've lived in Logan. As I visited today I remembered why. Waited at the front door for 10 minutes, before being seated at a table, at least another 15 minutes for server. A trainee brought our drink order, it was a milk and coke, they were in juice glasses, only 3/4 full on both. When I inquired with waitress, she stated girl was a trainee....the waitress did get the correct glasses. When food was brought, my son had gotten the burrito, the tortilla was so hard he couldn't even eat it. I had gotten a BLT, it was on such greasy bread, and for some reason had AVACADO on it. This was the worse meal I have ever tried eating. Now I recall why I hadn't been BACK. Also from what I understand we are still social distancing, they didn't hesitate to seat a couple in the next booth, while there were plenty of OTHER tables available. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. One other issue I had was you had to scan a code on the table with your phone in order to see the menu. I don't take my phone into a restaurant while eating ! read more

I have one rule I have always lived by, if you are ever in doubt, order the club sandwich, NOBODY can mess up a club sandwich. Thank you Logan IHOP for solidifying my rule by creating it's exception. My friends plates were cold, the eggs looked gross, and from the yelling in the kitchen area methinks people were more focused on their next party than cooking or preparing our food. Also side note, 2 out of 3 in our party got sick later, if I am going to get sick after eating, I am going to enjoy eating such as an Angies visit. Word to the wise, skip this Ihop hit the Village Inn or Angies, but trust me, being frugal and picking this place will only bring you grief. read more
