My husband ordered the Colorado Omelette like he normally does. Approximately, 75% of the way through he noticed a piece of dark curly hair from the bottom of his omelette. Had breakfast at about 930am. The food was returned because some of the food was cold and some of the food was not cooked through. The wait to get correction was long and service was mediocre at best. I mentioned this to cashier when I paid and I was never asked if everything was okay or let me get the Mgr. Nothing. Never go when it's busy at night. You will wait an hour for your food only to have it come out cold. I asked for my entire plate to be remade because the fries were half cooked and my burger was cold. When it came back my fries were even colder and all they had done was throw the same burger back on the grill or nuked it to warm it up. I had to ask for a manager just to get my food. Everyone I was with had cold eggs. The turkey bacon had been thrown in the fryer to cook. Overall a very disappointing and infuriating meal. We ended up getting our entire ticket comped because it was so bad. Had a feeling that it was going to be an 'Off Night'. Upon arrival - the sign said 'please wait to be seated'. They were right it was a wait. Sounded like they were having a meeting in a back room. Finely a young lady dressed like she was leaving for the evening came out and saw I was waiting. She ducked back into service area, took off here coat and took me to a table. Now the place was almost empty. Somehow I got seated next to the only table with customers. Naturally it was a family with young children. Young children being young children were anything but quiet. My fault I should have asked to be reseated. Waitress came out and 50% of the words out of her mouth were 'Honey'. As an adult I feel she was way too casual in here table-side manners. Food was as ordered and expected. Nothing special. As I was leaving the 'meeting' had moved into the entry area. One of the managers addressed me as 'Boss' while I was leaving. Now I know where the casual attitude comes from. I've been here before and will probably be back in the future when traveling through the area. I like the food and location. Awesome service! Ate there with a group a couple days ago, we had a new waiteess, Paige L. - she was polite, and quick with refills. We did not wait long to order and our food was served with a smile and it was HOT. We will definitely return, one of the best lunches we've had in a long time! We will ask for Paige as well!! We will not be returning. Last week four of us went and the service was so slow that we spent 2.5 hours here. 3 of us had meals that were missing items or were incorrect and one of us didn't even receive a meal. It was a terrible experience and the manager comped both our tables meal and the table seated next to us. Because the manager was polite and apologetic we attempted to eat here again today. Big mistake. This time we were there for two hours (still absurd) and our server was less than thrilled to serve us or her other tables. She only refilled our drinks once in two hours and then she charged us for those refills even though they should be free. We were again missing items and some portions of the meal were cold. It was weird because they brought out extra bacon and things we didn't order but yet never brought out French toast which was the main component of one meal. Service is really bad here. My husband and I waited 15 minutes just to get our drink refilled and I had to get up and go to the front to ask for my drink refilled. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The manager made it to the table before our waitress even did. (We had been sitting for a good 5 minutes.) After the manager brought our drinks, the server made it over and took our order. I ordered eggs, hash browns, and bacon. My husband ordered pancakes with bacon. After waiting about 20 minutes, our food finally came out. My hash browns were black and my eggs were disgustingly dry. I don't like to complain since I work at a restaurant and I know how it is. I tried to scrape the burnt part off of the hash browns, but it distorted the taste of the whole dish. My husband's bacon looked and tasted like it had been on the grill for 10 minutes too long. It was completely black. Our server finally asked how everything was and I asked to speak to the manager. The same one who took our drink order came over to the table and I explained what the problem was. I also mentioned that it is worth the 30 minute drive to go to Manhattan's IHOP. He told me he's always heard the other way around. --I just wanted my food fixed. By the time I was finished munching on my bacon, still waiting for my food to be remade, we were out of drinks. My food was brought back and by the time I finished, still no drinks. The manager asked how it tasted and I told him it was much better but would be nice if I could rinse it down. Our server then brought our check and we had to pay full price. Not that I was trying to get a discount, but just out of curiosity for having to wait so long to eat I was thinking we would get some sort of discount. But nope. We ate here 12-15-18 around noon. It was packed but we got in right away but our waitress SUCKED!! We don't know if she was new or training or a manager she had a white shirt and nice pants on, she had the poorest attitude I had ever seen. She had this attitude before she even got to us. She didn't ask what we wanted to drink she just stared at us. She was annoyed with us because we didn't know what we wanted so she came back and didn't even ask what we wanted she started at us. We watched her walk around lost. She took our order and didn't even know what we were ordering. She had to look at the menu when I told her I wanted the breakfast sampler she looked at me and goes that's it? And i was like what do you mean? Again we were treated poorly. We actually had a nice waiter take over half way through and we aren't sure why but we were much happier with him. horrible the first time i went with a large group it took over an hour to get our food because the waitress lst our orders. the next time it was fairly empty monday morning and yet agian another hour for our food to come. this time the waitress was very apologetic and removed our drinks from the bill as a courtesy. however my credit card was charged 3 Times all for different amounts and i am being given the run around about getting a refund because apparently the owner is the only one who can issue a refund and no one knows when she comes in or her a way for me to speak to her personally. horrible will never come here rather travel extra and go to dennys. read more
