Placed my order at 11:06 am at 12:12pm I am told they have not even started cooking it yet. Great manager! Great server! Great food! They even had gluten friendly waffles and pancakes that were very tasty!

The food was standard iHop and I quite enjoyed it. The service was very bad though as I would ask for condiments and never receive them, or the fact that I ordered unlimited pancakes and only got one plate because the server forgot. My experience was also quite disturbed by the fact that me and some of my younger band associates were threatened by a cop in the store on request of the manager because the manager felt that we were going to leave without paying (purely based on our clothing I might add.) This experience will make me never return to iHop again, I will stay with my regular Perkins which is right around the corner. read more

Don't go to this IHOP in Jackson, TN. Although the coffee was excellent, I waited for at least a half hour, with no service. At one point, I heard a server ask the manager, if she should wait on "That gentlemen", pointing towards me. He said: "Don't worry about it". They weren't that busy, either. What makes this even worse is that when I entered, the manager said someone would be with me, in a minute. He asked me what I would like to drink, I replied "Coffee". I consider myself a very patient person, but after a half hour, I told the manager, I would like to pay the bill. I then told him that was the worst service I've ever had, at any place, in years, and that I would never be coming back to IHOP, in Jackson, TN. All he said was: "I'm sorry to hear that". I mentioned all this to a friend of mine, that same day. He told me, he ate there the other day, and his food arrived cold. Lastly, it's the only place I ever ate at, in my life, that I gave no tip to. Ridiculous. Avoid it. read more

He SHOULD have been WATCHING his station. Second: my friend has had Bariatric surgery and needed to order from the kid's menu. She has a card issued from Vanderbilt Hospital and her physician. I ordered the double chocolate chip pancakes and between the four pancakes, there were two chocolate chips total. The pancakes didn't even taste like chocolate. They're actually the worst pancakes I've ever had. There was also supposed to be chocolate syrup on them and there wasn't. Plus $10 is too much money for inferior pancakes with no sides. We were at the Jackson, TN location around 4:00 a.m. today and the rap music was so loud we thought we had walked into a night club. The employees seem to really get alone well. You could hear all of them laughing and talking from the back. Employees sat or stood around for long periods of time, eating, singing. There was no hostess at the front to greet customers, people just stood at the front looking for someone to notice them. We were offered containers for leftovers we didn't have, but we did get a coffee to go. I had the Tres Leches w eggs bacon and hash browns. My wife and I love IHOP in Nashville. This influenced our decision to take my mother to IHOP for breakfast in Jackson. We thought that would be a good change to get her out of the nursing home. When we got there, we had to wait for 20 minutes to be seated. This is not unusual but once I was seated, I realized part of the reason. The service was terrible. We sat at the table for a good 10 minutes until a waitress showed up. By then we knew what we wanted and went ahead and ordered our drinks and food. It was another 10 minutes before the drinks showed up. Shortly after that the food came. The food was mostly the same as other IHOPs where we have eaten. My wife made the statement that she would like some salsa for her eggs but was afraid to ask as she thought it might not show up until after she had eaten. If I could rate this place with a minus sign, I would. First - We were seated at a booth that had a container of salad dressing spilled on the floor under the table. After my shoes were covered in a sticky mess, we moved ourselves to another booth - because we had not seen a waitress in the 15 minutes we were seated that we could ask for help. Second - the restrooms are nasty. Really nasty. Third - When my order arrived, it was wrong. Grilled chicken sandwich instead of fried chicken sandwich. When it was delivered, I asked the waitress what she put on the ticket - she said she entered 'fried' into the system, so it must be the cook's fault. But - when the ticket arrived, it said 'grilled', so guess she wasn't truthful about who's fault it was. We chose not to wait another 30 minutes for a replacement. The waitress did not notify the manager of the problem, and when I looked for him, he had disappeared into the back. Probably because of the two other unhappy customers the manager had just dealt with. The couple in the booth behind us were double charged on an item. The man across from us also did not receive the correct order. Three diners in a half hour with issues. Stay away from this place. It will ruin your appetite. Just disgusting!!! This place is filthy dirty!! We got there at the mid- morning rush. The floors are nasty like they've been mopped with grease water. The booth seats were dirty. The air conditioning vents and ceiling panels around them are just COVERED in black mold and those things are just cranking out moldy spores all over you, your table and your food. Every single one covered with dirt and mold and the ceiling covered in BLACK MOLD!! I could barely eat my food. Then it turns out a breakfast for 2 with coffee and waters was $28!! Plus tip!! We were thinking we were going to get a cheap, fast meal. We should've went to Panera bread for a much cleaner, better quality and cheaper! meal. Over $30 for a so-so breakfast with black mold included. What a mistake!!! I have to say again, just Disgusting!!!
