Raw pancakes

Worst IHOP I have ever been too. My eggs were cooked in vinegar and were extremely sour, and my son's pancakes were raw in the middle. I recommend that you go to a fast food restaurant instead of waiting 40 minutes for food that isn't good at all.

Object at the top of the cup.

I thought I'd try them again after being disappointed before. We'll they did it again. Horrible place. We were told they couldn't take orders because they had to many already. so we ordered coffee with flavored creamer and water. Water came with an object in and and no flavored creamer. IHOP do better or close it just pathetic at this point.

Breakfast for dinner - new location, new look

This newly built location is bright & upbeat including the fun red uniforms worn. I just stopped in for some pancakes because I love the butter pecan syrup. The pancake deals don't hurt either. The waiter Michael was super fun, energetic & talkative. He made for a fun experience so ask for him if you want a big smile & friendly service. The pancakes fluffy & perfect as always, golden brown & pipping hot. The bacon was good also even though it was like $2 a piece but hey..if you want it you want it. This location is a lot smaller than the location it replaced so on a busy Sat or Sun be prepared to wait.

Tres leches pancakes, plus eggs, hash browns, and Canadian bacon (minus one)

Not as bad as expected. It was a bit worrying when we first entered, and the employee asked if everyone in the lobby was waiting to be seated (which they all were). However, after that, they worked through the log jam quickly and we were seated promptly. The service was fairly good, with Herb and Sanmai really providing great customer service. My wife really liked her meal, but I found mine to be just okay. The southwest scramble meal I ordered was essentially eggs with avocado and dashes of mild sauce, potato wedges, chopped up green onions, and somewhat dried-out toast. All in all, it was all fairly plain-tasting, but for the price, it was understandable. As I recall, my meal was $8.69, and my wife's was $7.99 (plus tax). Sodas and iced teas were $2.59, free refills. In conclusion, this IHOP wasn't the train wreck I was expecting it to be, as per the prior Yelp reviews. I believe there is a chance they worked out their "opening pains", or as much as can be expected in an IHOP.

These were the scrambled eggs with cheese. Disgusting.

To start off you have to sign yourself in because the host can't do it. The service was good, waitress would forget things but was very friendly and sweet. The kitchen staff was backed up apparently because our food took forever to come out. Once the food came out it was at most likely warm. My friend asked for scrambled eggs with cheese and all they did was stick a slice of cheese on top of the already cold eggs. This was by far the worst food ever, we will never return to any IHOP restaurant. It was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!

I'm glad I ordered online because I only had to wait just a few minutes and I had 3 orders of food fixed differently and everything was CORRECT!

It was raining, so we entered on the backside of the property and stayed at the pizza & pints area (indoor casual eating spot with amazing freshly made pizza. We also had the best Caesar salad). Great place for couples and families. The crew was so friendly and dozens of beers on tap. Katz' iced tea, too. Large, clean restrooms. More comfortable and more accessible than St.Arnold's (which I also love). This is a must try.

They have a full sit-down restaurant, bar, outdoor patio, biergarten, gift shop, barber shop, dentist....ok I may have made up the last 2. When we got here, we 1st went to their gift shop so I can get a sticker for my garage wall and ended up picking up a tin tacker too. They even threw in a few free glasses. Score! Everything was reasonably priced too. From there we went to the Biergarten because they had a huge TV to watch the football game. To my slight disappointment, the tap list outside was limited and they didn't have flights, so we went back inside. We grabbed 2 seats at the bar and I got my flight. The tap list is very large, and they have 5 rotating tap room exclusives that they call "Fun Series". I always love to see this. Take notes Shiner! Their flights are 5 beers each (always love the larger flight boards.....also take more notes Shiner with your measly 3 beer flights) so I got 3 different IPA's, a brown ale and a pumpkin lager. I usually hate pumpkin beers, but this one was quite good. My favorite was the Rodeo Clown Double IPA. The lady friend was able to get a non-alcoholic beer that they also brew. We didn't get any food, but I will certainly be back to try it.

The dining room is chic and feels very upscale but comfortable with a large open fire kitchen that was really fun to watch while dining. They were very on top of service with both our dining captain and waiter checking on us throughout the evening. For appetizers we ordered the deviled crabs, tuna tostada and wood roasted carrots. All were great but I especially loved the carrots which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. For my main course I had the chicken and dumplings, husband got the NY strip, our friends shared the whole fish and we had the cabbage and crab rice as sides. Everyone was very happy with both their main courses and the side dishes. We were too stuffed to order dessert but they sent out a s'mores inspired sunday for my birthday which was both thoughtful and sublime. Overall we were very impressed with our meal. Food was delicious but veeeery indulgent. We will be back.

We were greeted by three different people - one that took our drink order, one that cleared our plates, and one that took our order. All were very nice people and gave excellent service! I forgot their names unfortunately. My receipt said Zachary but not sure which waiter that was. Between me and hubs, we had a Pan de campo, an order of Gulf Oysters "casino", (4) dressed oysters, a 16 oz dry aged ribeye, a snapper entree and a side of crab fried rice. We finished almost everything except a quarter of the Pan, about a quarter of the rice, and about a third of the ribeye. All were great dishes and would definitely order again. We skipped dessert because honestly none stood out to us. He said their popular dessert is the souffle but they were sold out. Our total before gratuity was about $250 and that included one cocktail. Hubs had their "classic" old fashioned which he said was excellent! Overall, highly recommended if you don't mind the splurge or for a special occasion!

Millie's is a popular neighborhood seafood restaurant in Houston's Oak Forest area, known for Southern and coastal-inspired dishes, craft cocktails, and being genuinely family-friendly. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, including patios and a dedicated play area for kids, which already sets them apart. They have private parking spots out front and a large outdoor patio facing the street. We walked in without a reservation and were seated right away. They brought out a high-chair for our son immediately. Inside, the restaurant was busy, but it was a colder morning so the front patio wasn't being used much. They also have a separate backyard patio with a turfed, enclosed area where kids can safely play, which is a huge plus for families. We ordered from the brunch menu. [BRUNCH] +Lobster Roll for $38 - Maine lobster poached in butter, served in a brioche-style lobster bun with fries. My wife ordered this with fries, and I ordered the same dish with a Caesar salad. This lobster roll was excellent. They served the lobster folded into thick Texas toast and brought extra butter on the side. Easily one of the best lobster rolls I've had. It's definitely pricey, but absolutely worth it as an occasional splurge. The fries and salad were good, but the lobster roll completely stole the show. - 5/5 [KID'S MENU] +Basket of Fried Shrimp for $7 - Served with fries or fruit. My son didn't eat much of the shrimp, but I thought it was solid. He ate all the fruit. He had already eaten at home, so hunger may have been a factor. For the price, this was perfectly fine. - 4/5 Overall, Millie's Kitchen & Cocktails really impressed me. The lobster roll alone is worth returning for, and now that I've seen how seafood-forward the menu is, I'm excited to try more dishes on future visits. Add in the family-friendly setup, outdoor play space, and smooth service, and this is a place I'll gladly come back to for brunch (and more)!

The mashed potatoes were good and most of the vegetables. We got the creme brûlée but wasn't a big fan , the custard was a bit thick and not smooth. I would opt for something else next time. Will definitely go back to try more things as well. I think only 2 ppl were working but service was still good and we felt bad that every thing was on them.
