My sons favorite food is pancakes, so we took him there for his birthday. We have never eaten at any ihop but it didn't look to busy at 6:40p.m. So we wanted to give it a chance. It took about 5 minutes to be seated and there weren't but maybe 6 tables that had people at them. Finally we were seated waited about another 10minutes to give drink order came back 5 minutes later with our drinks husbands was wrong but was afraid to send it back it may take too long to get another one. The waitress came back a few minutes later took our food order and it was over an hour from the time we walked in the door until we received our meals. The table behind us had been there a good 30 minutes before there order was even taken by a different waitress. There was seriously 6 waitresses working and 6 tables service should have been amazing but we weren't offered refills or even checked on from the time we ordered our food to the time we actually got it. I have no complaints about the food other then it was expensive. The waitress staff needs customer service training! This was our first and last ihop experience! read more

Restaurant odor smells like a urinal cake. They really need to rethink what air freshener they're using in the dining room. Restaurant wasn't busy at all and it takes 30 min to make eggs and pancakes. It is what it is. Don't have high expectations. read more

If you like your breakfast spicy try the chorizo omelette. The wife and I were visiting to make baskets in Frazeysburg. This HOP is great! Nice and clean. The servers were quick , friendly , and covered all the bases. If you haven't been to a hop in awhile visit this one. read more

It's always difficult to review a chain restaurant, but this is my son's favorite breakfast spot, so we go there whenever I am in town visiting him. I want to start my review by saying that I loved going to the IHOP that was near OSU, on High street, when I was a small child and my father was working on his degree. This is not that, in fact, it's not even close, but it's not terrible either. I have eaten there two times over the last month, and the first time I ordered their big breakfast that included eggs, pancakes, and three types of breakfast meats. The amount of food that I received was not much, and it included the smallest piece of ham I've ever been served in a restaurant, and if I were a server, it would have embarrassed me to bring that out to a customer . The next time was a little better. I ordered a basic two eggs, two pancakes, and two (very tasty) smoked sausage links, which I did enjoy. My son always orders the same thing, and that's their steak omelet, hash browns, along with an iced coffee, which he always enjoys. As far as the service, it's average at best, and about the cleanliness, it's not a dirty place, but with all of the down time they seem to have, we should expect much more in the way of said cleanliness. In closing, I wish that they would have kept the Ruby Tuesday's, that was in the building that IHOP now owns. Was it better??? Absolutely terrible! Placed an online order and went to pick up.. the online website said they will bring it to the car on car hop n go ...well nobody came out with the order when I let them know I am outside.... Figured it is Labor Day so must be busy...went in to check on my order... the staff said maybe it is not ready yet...so I waited outside... went in to check after 15 mins....then they said they didn't get the online order... they said they will write the order down and make it then... but even after saying that, they show no interest in taking my order in spite of me standing there and waiting ...not a single soul entering the restaurant was wearing a mask during this delta COVID surge in poorly vaccinated Ohio...finally just left frustrated... will take a long time for me to want to ever go back there if EVER! I am very patient in busy restaurants but their customer service sucks big time! read more

we waited a half hour.. even in the crappy snow we were having...but it was worth the wait. The hostess and service was great.. the food was awesome and the management walked around making sure everything was 100 %. I placed my order online using THEIR website. The order was set to be picked up at 11:50. I arrived at 11:48 and was told it wasn't ready yet. Fair enough, I was a couple minutes early. I wait for about 10 minute and check on my order again. The young girl working the counter (she is the manager's daughter I overhear her say to a customer) goes back to the kitchen and comes back a few moments later to say that they are still working on the order. A few minutes after that the manager emerges holding a bag of togo food. I ask if it's for me. It is not. He sits it on the counter and returns to the kitchen to reemerge fairly quickly with another togo bag. Not for me, but for someone else who had been waiting for her togo for only a few minutes. To be fair, she may have ordered it a while ago, so I wait a few more minutes. It is now 12:10 and I still do not have my food. I ask another hostess if I can get a time estimate on how long it will take. She again asks for my name. I tell her. She then goes into the kitchen mumbling something about not getting that order. I wait for her return a couple more minutes later and ask her, "Did you get my order?" To which she replies, "No, we didn't get your order." Wouldn't it have been great to let me know this 20 minutes ago when I first arrived and gave you my name? "If you tell me what you ordered, I can make it real quick," She replies." Shouldn't you have done that 20 freaking minutes ago?! Needless to say, I left without my food and I will never order from them again. Complete lack of consideration and customer service. read more

Been here for TWO hours, TWO! Took over an hour to get our food and server only checked in on us twice and the food was cold when we got it and the strawberry's were frozen. When we were finished and asked for checks, we have been waiting over an hour just for our checks. read more

The service here is terrible! I have been to this IHOP three times, and each visit I have had a bad visit. The first time I went there the service was incredibly slow, and when I finally received my strawberry pancakes the strawberries were STILL FROZEN, and I never got a chance to tell my waitress because she never came to check up on me. The second time I visited wasn't too bad, but the service was extremely slow even though my friends and I were the only people in the restaurant. The third time I went, my friends and I were greeted by a waitress who actually complained when we showed up (it was only a group of five?). She sighed, made a face, and pulled another employee aside to say "ugh, we have a group of five." This was a group of quiet girls at 7:00 on a Friday night, they weren't busy, and I still don't understand why they were so annoyed. Regardless, they sat us down and gave us menus. This was fine, until they didn't come take our drinks or orders for at least 30 minutes. HALF AN HOUR. We took that as our cue to leave, and nobody bothered to ask us where we were going when we vacated our booth on the spot. We then proceeded to have a VERY nice meal at the Canes next door, which I recommend much more than this international house of miserable employees. read more

Horrible! I've been here a couple of times over the years and both visits were not great. But my husband suggested we go on a Friday night around 7pm because it looked less busy than most restaurants at the time. It was horrible! We were seated almost immediately and asked for our drink order. Then it took 20 min to get said drinks. The food was subpar. And while we were eating we were never checked on until my husband stood up to wipe barbecue sauce off his clothes that the waitress flung off her hand on her way past us. The guy asked what was wrong and we explained what happened and he said he would speak with her. He never refilled our drinks. We waited forever to get our bill. He never came back for it. He never offered anything for the barbecue incident (would it have been too much to ask to comp even just our drinks??). We went to find someone so we could pay our bill and he saw us standing there and never made a move to help us. I asked another waitress that was standing there if she could take it, she did, but then stood there and waited on him to come and do it. I was so disgusted with everything at this point that I paid the bill and left. Also leaving behind the receipts because I was so frustrated. My husband was not happy about that because I didn't have any information about my visit to call and make a formal complaint. I will never go back to this location ever! read more

We stopped at The Treehouse for breakfast on a road trip and were delighted to find this spacious, sunny, and pleasant space. The breakfast menu was rather limited but the croissant breakfast sandwich and oatmeal didn't disappoint. Generous portions at modest prices. Great service and atmosphere. read more
