This place is a hidden gem. Small but very good. The service is right on point. The only problem with this place is around 9:30-10 they tend to get busy and have a wait. If the wait is not long don't bother waiting outside they might forget you. Happened to us today. Didn't want to crowded the door. Overall the place is clean and friendly. Will come back. I've ever had lunch here but the breakfast slaps lol.

Breakfast burrito with hash browns

My partner and I had the rare opportunity to enjoy breakfast out and decided to visit Big Apple Cafe. The service was quick, the food was good, and the menu gave us the old-fashioned country diner fare we were hoping for. I ordered the breakfast burrito with hash browns and my partner got the diner breakfast (eggs, toast, sausage, hash browns) and two pancakes. Everything was tasty. The burrito was packed full with lots of peppers, onion, and sausage along the scrambled eggs. The cafe breakfast was exactly as it should be, and the pancakes were light, a bit spongy but also fluffy, and huge. We both found the hash browns, which are shredded potatoes fried on the griddle, to be underwhelming. Next time, we'll probably opt for the home fries, which are sliced potatoes that are seasoned and griddle-fried. I'm also looking forward to trying their lunch foods in the future. The place is pretty small, so I can imagine it gets pretty packed on the weekend!

Great food & super friendly service! We were in town for the Night Ranger concert last night. My husband & I love finding "Mom & Pop" restaurants when we travel & this came up in our search. The restaurant is located in a building that apparently houses and auto auction so it can be hard to find, but it is definitely worth it! When we walked in, we saw a couple tables of the old locals enjoy the breakfast and we knew that was a good sign. We did not catch the name of our server, but she was , a sweetheart, and extremely efficient. Their home fries are to die for! I had the ham & cheese omelette. Everything was delicious! The next time we are in town, we will definitely be back.

Good quiet place for a home cooked breakfast. Not a flashy or vast menu but food is good and service is friendly and fast.

Great food! Just wish there was a bit more space between tables. Felt very cramped while eating.

I tend to stop by Barry Bagels after my dentist appointments nearby. Their bagels are fresh and…read moresoft, which I really like. Their Cinnamon Vanilla is very good, and I usually get one for later. Then I order an "Eggel" with cheese and bacon, usually on an Asiago bagel toasted.

Location; 5760 Frantz Road, Dublin Ohio Website:…read morehttps://barrybagels.com Menu: see website Hours: see website I have an affinity to this delightful (small) chain from growing up in NW Ohio. These bagels are what every bagel should be - crisp exterior, chewy interior, amazing flavors. A wide variety of flavors available daily (12-16); plenty to have a short list of favorites and a long line of runner-ups. You really can't go wrong with any selection. The menu offers a nice selection of sandwiches and soups, also. I roll in for a dozen bagels about monthly and immediately eat one on my drive to the office or my son's. No toasting. No butter. No cream cheese. I just pick one that is still hot from the oven and enjoy every bite. My favorite flavor here is onion, followed by vanilla-cinnamon. I will always enjoy an 'everything' bagel but those are messy and I already confessed to eating the first in the car. My go-to dozen assortment is: (6) onion, (2) vanilla cinnamon (2) blueberry (1) cinnamon raisin (1) Asiago cheese (1) cheddar jalapeño. If you counted 13, you are correct. A Barry's dozen is 13, like a baker's dozen. I was greeted this morning by a cheerful and efficient young woman who expertly assembled my selection. Today's assortment is already light by '1' ... an onion bagel, naturally. Tips: 1. Check hours. They close in the afternoon. 2. Consider online ordering. Check website. 3. Bagels freeze beautifully. Ask for a plastic bag with your dozen and insert that bag into a freezer bag to protect your bounty. 4. I track use of 'fresh' bagels to ensure what isn't consumed in 2-3 days goes to the freezer.

Love the atmosphere when meeting friends for coffee and the staff is always friendly. I believe…read morethe donuts are from Buckeye Bakery and are always good. The pizza (different shop but pick up here) is very good. I try to avoid mid afternoons during the school year because it fills up with students from Ontario. Even though the staff has them under control (they are required to drop their bookbags outside of the back room), it is a bit noisy. But they are a kids....so..... I really do like this shop. Parking is adequate and you can order ahead for pick-up. It's nothing fancy but a great place to meet up with others.

Ok food and Ok service. I have come in a few times this past year, and the baristas are always so…read moresweet. Unfortunately, I came in during a time when a bunch of kids were also there due to the fact that they come here after school. I saw what I assume is one of the owners allowing the children in her office. Very strange behavior in my opinion. Not to mention the place is basically ran by underage girls who seem to be trying their best, but unfortunately, I have seen them be miss treated by the owner's multiple times. Not to mention whenever I see the owners actually behind the counter and not talking to kids, they don't really seem to know how to even ring in any orders and just seem to make things slow down. Again, the food and drinks are ok but due to the fact that the owner's behaviors are so weird I definitely recommend going elsewhere. from other reviews I can also agree that specifically the man that is part owner can't really seem to own up to his mistakes nor does he really care to. If you want good consistent drinks, customer service, and better atmosphere, I definitely recommend fresh grounds coffee shop on 4th st!
