When my husband walked into the shop, there was one person behind the counter. He was the only customer. He asked a few questions about the menu before ordering. He and my son sat down and waited for about 15 minutes. During that time, I ordered Starbucks. My son left Einstein, went next door, picked up my coffee, brought it to the car, and then re-joined my husband. Husband finally asked when the order would be ready. They told him that no one was making our order because we were supposed to flag down an employee in the back (the cook???) and tell them what to make. Since my husband ordered and paid, but didn't flag down one of the cooks, no one prepared the food. 10-15 minutes later, our food was ready. We returned to the car only to find that they forgot one of our sandwiches. We only ordered three. It was not a big or complicated order. Thankfully we were traveling through. Einstein's Bagels is consistently delicious and they have a great menu. However, this location is always short staffed. This morning they only had one lady working, and it ended up taking a very long time to get through the line and receive my food. This has been the case the last several times I have been here. They also have the dining room shut down, and it is been shut down for well over a year. It's a shame, because most people like to go to coffee shops sit down and catch up on work. Be prepared to get your food to go, and sit outside in the your car to eat. read more

Absolutely horrible management and service. Manager was rude and didn't care that her crew were severely understaffed and stressed out. She kept disappearing to the back like she had something important to do . Instead of jumping on the line and getting orders out so her staff could catch their breath. Severely understaffed which leads me to believe that this isn't a good company to work for. Food was mediocre at best. Kinda overpriced for what little you get and the poor service. Wouldn't recommend going here unless you have time to kill and don't mind waiting forever. Cleanliness of the store was average barely looks like they concentrated more on take out than the shape of dining room. I'm a sucker for bagels of all shapes, sizes, and qualities. I've had authentic east coast water bagels and I've experienced the ones you find in the frozen section of your grocery store. I just love a good bagel and schmear. To me, Einstein ranks pretty well in the bagel world- most times the product is fresh and the cream cheese ratio is spot on. My go-to is a garlic bagel double-toasted with plain cream cheese. If eaten when served it is so tasty, washed down with a house blend coffee loaded up with sugar and cream. Yum. This location was exceptional. Clean, well ran, friendly staff, and fresh bagels. No issues with inventory (some locations make fewer seeded bagels and run out at inopportune times), perfect cream cheese to bagel ratio (CC:B) and plenty of room to stretch out. I love it when other patrons leave sections of a newspaper behind so you can enjoy news updates the classic way (for purists you know what I'm talking about). Free wi-fi, several coffee options and cold brew available make this location awesome. read more

My husband stopped here twice (Aug. 9 & 10) while on our trip & picked up bagels for breakfast. We don't have an Einstein Bros. near us, so this was our first experience with them. All I can say is Wow! My first was a spinach bagel w/ a schmear. The second was their Tasty Turkey. Both were amazing! Soft, but not chewy bagels, with just the right amount of cream cheese. I cannot stand it when delis "glob" on so much. The turkey sandwich was perfect. My husband & son had a cinnamon raisin bagel w/ cc, a bagel w/ cheddar cheese--no complaints. This site has to be on the way out the door. Went there for lunch on a Friday and it was almost deserted...there were 3 people there at 12:20 pm. After getting my lox and bagel order I now know why. The sandwich consisted of 1 bagel split in half, a small bit of cream cheese covering about 70% of the bagel, 5 strips of onion, 2 tomato slices, capers, and just enough lox to allow them to legally say they included it on the sandwich. 23.7 grams of smoked salmon to be exact. That is one $8 lunch I will get elsewhere from now on. read more

Okay, I will admit I've turned into an absolute bagel snob. In the absence of my chain of choice on our road trip (prompted by the pouting of my husband at the idea of a bagel-free morning), we stopped by Einstein Bros. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. Service was prompt and friendly, prices reasonable. I ordered the asiago bagel with egg white and garlic herb schmear. Although the bagel didn't have the nice crunch that I'm used to, it was tasty. The schmear was a different experience for me. The garlic flavor was very strong, to the point that I would have worried about offending others. Fortunately, my husband had the same, so we could embrace our road-trip halitosis. The texture of the schmear reminded me more if a butter spread than a cream cheese. Again, not bad, just different. The coffee was good, too. Thanks Einstein Bros, for the positive experience. This wasn't my favorite Einstein Bros. I'm an Einstein Bros fan too - I've gone to a few of the shops around and frequent the one by my home. This one is really small and wasn't well kept (like all the tables were dirty). The bagels were a bit drier than normal, and they didn't seem as fresh as what I am used to at this chain. My favorite go to place when I am hungry and can't think of anything else to eat. There bagels in my opinion are better than Panera's as well as there spreads. The spicy elmo (sans the peppers) is so amazingly good along with their turkey and cheddar open face sandwich. The only problem I run into here is the employees don't seem to listen or know their stuff. I've walked out without an egg on my sandwich many times or have been given something completely different. I used to go here daily before I went into work. (It became inconvenient when my workplace moved locations) the staff is super friendly and they knew me by my name and order. I would give it 5 stars but sometimes the line moves very slowly and I know that they are going as quickly as they can (for the most part) but even if I left home early to stop by, I'd be rushing to get to work by the end of it. Worst bagel shop ever. They never get my order correct when I call it in by phone. Many times I get bagels still wet and caked with cinnamon/sugar and then it gets all over my other bagels. One time we had to go back 3 times and our order was still wrong and my husband was overcharged. Today I was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour to fill my bagel order.
