Lunch today was at IHOP with some of my family, after a little pre family vacation shopping. It's been many years since I have dined at this location, I think it's either a new IHop or it's been remodeled. Some in my party ordered breakfast some of us ordered from the lunch menu. My soon to be 4 yr old great great nephew wanted pancakes chocolate milk( must have been good he ate 4 kid's size pancakes) I ordered the classic fried chicken sandwich. It's a fried boneless chicken breast on a hoagie type bun with lettuce, tomato, bacon, ranch dressing and sliced avocado. It comes with your choice of sides, mu choice was half fries and half onion rings. The sandwich was tasty, fresh and hot, the chicken was crispy on the outside with the right amount of crunch and tender without it being over cooked. The fries were hot with the right amount of salt, the onion rings were crispy a big plus the onion was cooked inside that crispy crunchy coating. To drink I had strawberry lemonade. Our waitress did appear to be on the tired side(understandable), but she did perk up before we left and she was quite pleasant. The meal was enjoyable, and it's always good to spend time with family.

Went with something different on our last visit, the Strawberry Cream Biscuit, but didn't care for the filling flavor in combination with the biscuit, and the weird coconut flavor of the whipped cream. I opted for a short stack of pancakes instead, something that never disappoints! I also recently used my rewards for my first to-go order of pancakes, and I wasn't disappointed. A lot of care goes into the prep, packaging, and including the sides. Service is always friendly and restaurant is clean. Managed very well. Love this location!

Great service from their entire staff today for brunch. Our server Sandra was so nice and friendly. I enjoyed my delicious sampler breakfast with eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, hash browns, blueberry crepe and a wonderful cup of coffee. Sky was also very helpful friendly and efficient. Excellent place to have a very satisfying breakfast!!!

The new Ihop is beautiful, hubby drove by and saw them open so we decided to go on Sunday, it was full but the seating pace was fast, we were seated in 20 minutes, this is were the review begins Waitress came took our drink order, came back and took the food order from the table next to us that was seated after us anyway, she took our order and from that moment it took 40 minutes to get our food and not to mention they brought in my husband's, my daughter's and mine but not my 4 yrs old Mac and cheese, I will say five minutes later the Mac and cheese came, it was hot so my husband stirred it and to find a piece of eyelash on it, of course we called the waitress and told her, by the time they were going to make a new one my baby had eaten my bacon and my husband's eggs so we canceled his order. Manager came to the table apologized for inconvenience, I told her everything is beautiful, better than before but I can't believe we had to wait 40 minutes for eggs, bacon and hash browns and not to mention the Mac and cheese that goes in the microwave, she told us she has the same cooks but with a new computer system that they are trying to adapt, I could understand, then she came back and told us she took care of the bill, I told her no she can only take off the Mac and cheese but she insisted and didn't let us pay, well that's what I called customer service, something like Harris Teeter, of course we'll be back, I love the place, much better than woodruff rd.

Agree with previous review that food & service are fine but the place smells like a gas station bathroom. Ruined my appetite.

If you are looking for a "better use napkins or the juice will run down my arms burger and super crispy seasoned fries, this is your place. It goes to show, an establishment that focuses on a few things and works diligently at them produces fantastic results. The seating is very limited but they do the best they can to find a place for you to sit. Definitely better when the weather is nice so the few outside tables are an option. Thank you Windy City Burgers, we will be back. P.S. Please consider opening a sister location in Seneca!

I've been a few times and as a Greek, enjoy this restaurant…read more The restaurant is clean, and the decor is authentic. I think the menu offers quite a bit and overall the food it tasty. The one thing I would offer as constructive criticism is really watch the amount of dry oregano you add after the fact. Most of what we received had more than a dusting, which isn't pleasant with dried herbs. (Note, I love oregano and cook with it all the time. This was just excessive). The other thing I would note is there isn't that spirit of hospitality when you are there, which is what the Greeks are known for. Service was I'd say a bit below average- for example, we ordered a bunch of appetizers, and were done with quite a bit of it. When our food came out the waitress tried to deliver all the food on an already crowded table. We had to ask her to remove the dirty, empty plates first. We also had people run out of water, and she never came back to refill. The other thing was it was clearly a celebratory dinner. It would have been nice to at least ask what was going on. Not looking for anything, but typically a server would at least chat you up. All that said, we will be back and recommend this place to others. Would just recommend tasting the food before it does out to make sure its not caked with dried oregano, and bring a little more of that Greek spirit to the business.

I was hungry and didn't know what or where to eat, not like there is a lack of options, but did I want ramen or something more local in regional flare? I picked the second one. I ended up at Tupelo Honey because fresh southern fried chicken sounded amazing and this place wasn't going to break the bank. I guess this place is a chain but I didn't know this until I was eating. The staff were beyond friendly and attentive and they answered all of my questions about the food. The restaurant was super clean. I ended up ordering the half bird with original seasoning on it. The seasoning the put on it is a crystallized honey power and something else in it, it gives the chicken a nice sweet flavor but not overpowering. They also have a spicy version for you spice lovers. The half bird came with 4 pieces as one would expect, the crust was crispy and the chicken was awesome. I was eating the dark meat and couldn't get over how juicy it was. The real test as you all know is the breast, is that going to be dry? Nope, it was so moist and flavorful, it was a home run. I guess they brine their chicken for some good amount of time and it shows. My sides though I wish I would have gotten more adventurous, the meal came with two sides so I got a salad and the fried potatoes as a recommendation from the waitress. They were good but the mac n cheese looked better. Overall this place is great and I would go again. It's right downtown and the service was fast and friendly. Great place for some fried chicken .

Right by Fluor Field with a fun, lively vibe. We sat outside, which was clean, comfortable, and a great spot to hang out before an event. Service was fantastic. David, our server, was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, and really helped elevate the experience. For food, we started with the wings (dry rub and Jamaican jerk). The flavors were decent, but the wings themselves were rubbery and a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point. One standout though... the ranch dressing. Easily some of the best I've had. The breakfast tacos were good overall, and the chimichurri was fresh and flavorful. I think adding a creamy component would have taken them up another level. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. The chicken and biscuit was decent. The Nashville-style chicken had good flavor, but the tenders were on the smaller side, making the portion feel a bit lacking. The biscuit itself was solid. The tallow fries were also well done, and the Lefty's sauce was a nice addition. One unique touch at the end. You're given the option to send a postcard, and they handle the postage and mailing for you. A really fun and memorable detail. Overall, a good spot with great service and atmosphere, though some of the food execution and portion sizes could be improved.
