Unprofessionalism at its worst. Let me start off by saying the food here was great and is not at all associated with the bad review I'm giving this IHOP. Its the uncomfortable environment that its employees have made for customers like myself is reason why I give this restaurant one star. Somewhere between last Christmas and the new year, my girlfriend and I were having brunch at this particular location. It all starts with some guy that works there flipping out and cursing up a storm about how its time for him to go home and how he hates working there. Another waitress notices the funny looks we're giving the guy and she tells him that he's drawing negative attention from the customers. He at first seems apologetic to anyone that was listening to his rant but then goes to say that we all needed to mind our own F*ing business! Then shortly after, almost all (if not all) the waiters and people from the kitchen start to go on similar public rants about when they are supposed to be scheduled to work and how they hate their jobs. You would think the managers would come and privately deal with the situation...instead he publicly begins arguing with the workers in front of everyone. It was very hard for my girlfriend and I to ignore everything going on because we were sitting right in front of the kitchen with our food, where all the chaos was ensuing! I love IHOP but I'm never going to this location again and advise anyone who wants a peaceful environment to eat in not to go as well. Terrible wait times for everything. Waited 15 minutes for coffee. Than another 5 for coffee cups. Waited 30 minutes for breakfast that consisted mostly of pancakes. Grits came 10 minutes after the food. No explanation other than they are coming. Coffee ran out since the pots are so small and didn't get a refill until we were nearly ready to leave. I went here for the first time today, because of the .60 pancakes! I love IHOP pancakes and I love them even more when they are .60. When we got there it wasn't necessarily crowded but there was a bus full of kids from a day camp there. The hostess said there would be a little wait because they were clearing a table, then a waitress came out of nowhere an sat us right in the middle of the day camp!!!!!! Oh boy! It wasn't too bad though because they were on their way out. Oh yeah back to the question at hand. It is IHOP so of course the pancakes were great, but talk about slow! My stomach was eating itself. Wish I could give negative stars!!!!By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My family and I decided to come by after church around 8 PM this last Sunday and there were maybe 3 families in the restaurant. We were seated right away but had to ask for kids menus. As we sat waiting to order, not one person came by to ask for our drinks or if we were ready to order. After about 15 minutes (from the time we walked in till seated) of no one asking us anything, we walked out and not one person asked us why. I ordered curbside service due to covid and my pre-existing health issues. When I arrived, I parked and phoned the establishment for over 20 minutes and there was no answer. Finally, I went inside to pick up my food. It took a few minutes for the server to come up front. I explained that I had been waiting outside and he said "I didn't know." He provided the manager's phone number and I called him. The manager, Dean, apologized and said they would provide a refund to my credit card. So this IHOP is soooooooo inconsistent. No matter how specific you are about your order, chances are you'll be sending something back or settling with the mistake that they made. I literally asked for an omelette with NO GREEN peppers and not only do they still put green peppers in the omelette... they add red peppers. Red peppers to an omelette that doesn't come with red peppers in the first place. Then I ask for a side of scrapple and specifically ask for it NOT to be put in the deep fryer and what do they do? They put it in the deep fryer. This is the third time that they've done this. The first time, I noticed it and sent it back asking them to not deep fry it thinking that was saying enough. So they do it over and just don't fry it as hard in the deep fryer.... The second time I asked them not to do it and they still do it. WHO DEEP FRIES SCRAPPLE?! Do you deep fry the bacon and sausage as well? So this time I asked them not to deep fry it and even gave the cooks instructions on how to cook it by requesting that it be cooked on the cook top... and they STILL deep fry it the first time. Now I have to wait for it to be cooked again. Then there's the hash browns... one time you get a good size portion then the next you get a thin layer of burnt hash browns. This IHOP needs a totally new regime of cooks. Like I said there's no consistency. The pancakes aren't even reliable. The service here was absolutely terrible. Orders weren't written down which resulted in incorrect orders. We didn't receive any refills. Our food was over cooked, wings were sent back. Hash browns, toast, & bacon were highly over cooked. I believe the food was ready but was just sitting at a certain point. We only got checked on twice. & I understand that's it's busy & the traffic was high but communication with tables needs to get better.
