Went for breakfast after Labcorp appt. The coffee cups were DIRTY.... my husbands was smeared with lipstick & mine had coffee rings inside. (GROSS) Sure we had a TRAINEE WAITER .... But c'mon that should have been checked before he brought the cups out. Husband had the lumberjack breakfast & I had the French toast. Oh ihop. lol my young daughter and I come somewhat often. It's like pretty much every other ihop to me. The servers are decent some nicer than others-haven't had any outstanding. For some reason my daughter never eats her pancakes but she normally loves them so I guess she doesn't like ihop cakes. I made the mistake of ordering a cheeseburger once...never again. She loves their sausage links though and chocolate milk. My food is always decent-nothing jumps out-it tastes like all other ihops. I've never had a long wait to be seated-I have had a little wait on my good though but nothing too crazy. There's usually plenty of other customers so you're not in an entire quiet restaurant. No problem with cleanliness. We walk to the pet store in the strip sometimes afterwards and there's a hair store and grocery across the street so there's places around the area too if you're out running errands. read more

The Mister and I are outside EARLY today. IHOP rarely disappoints and today was even better because we beat the rush. Learned my lesson last time about the chicken tenders so skipped them this time. Enjoyed my impossible sausage-egg-biscuit and the mister enjoyed his big breakfast with French Toast. Minor complaint about his scrapple being smaller/thinner than usual. LOL ... #Bidenomics?!?! Despite of the overall review rating I had an acceptable experience at this IHOP location. I usually don't frequent IHOP but had to get breakfast in this area so I gave it a shot. It was busy so I got a table asap but I also came in at 9am. Ordered the shaolin tips with eggs, hash browns, side of pancakes and coffee. Food came out within 15min (personal standard) and everything was cooked well. Service was attentive but not overly intrusive. As far as ambiance it's a typical IHOP so I wasn't expecting much. I most likely won't come back to this location but I would say check it out if you're in the area. read more

Not clean at all. Utensils had food on them from previous user. Seat cover riped. Sever had his dirty thumb on my pancake upon delivery to me. Did not eat it. Manager claims servers wash their hands. Not true. Stood by register on our way out the door and that same server was picking up plates for delivery to tables and never once washed his hands. I respect the servers wearing gloves. Manager was no help. Time to retirer. read more

It's terrible when you call and ask for butter pecan syrup and the person respond with I got you and still doesnt give it to you. Its so small. You can do this hob without preparing and they still mess up consistently. If managers held them accountable it would prevent most of these bad behaviors. read more

Had a brunch/meeting with 2 ladies last Tuesday, 9/17. Of course, the pancakes were fabulous, as usual. Our waitress was phenomenal...she was attentive, accurate with orders and very generous. I placed my order and informed her I would have a takeout towards the end of our stay. After paying our bill, she brought my takeout as requested; then dropped an additional order of pancakes that someone else had ordered but did not pickup! VERY NICE!!! read more

The greeter is knowledgeable however his presence, delivery and posture is awful/rude. He debates with the waiting guest and his stance with his head crocked to side as though he does not care. Rude towards anyone who asked a simple question about the wait time and where they appear on the wait list. Polite Customer service is lacking on his part. Yalhiarra is so sweet and her friendliness made the dining pleasant the waiting disappointment disappear. Btw the inside doors should be fix. Today was mommy and me Sunday!!! So the minis wanted pancakes for breakfast. IHOP is always the spot for a quick but good sit dow breakfast. Always a decently priced meal, with ordering hubbies meal to go I only paid $44.82 not bad. I love the sampler, always a favorite choice when you have no real direction for what you want. The girls got the cupcake junior meal and the happy face meal, both with apple juice. Gave 3 stars because we saw 3 couples come in after us but got food before us!! Not okay when you have children who are ready to eat. The waitress did a good job before she disappeared on us. Once the food came everyone was able to eat and be happy again. Now that Covid-19 restrictions have been removed in Prince George's County, this place will be packed with people on Sundays again. Every IHOP and Bob Evans that we have gone to on Sunday, is always packed with people in the morning. My wife and I are disappointed that IHOP pancakes have no international flavor or flair to them anymore. Yes, they have Belgium waffles and Swedish crepes; but it's not the same diverse menu as before. I remember when they did a long time ago. It made their restaurants special. We ordered carryout breakfast. The service was friendly and quick. Employees were still required by management to wear masks. We got two of the bacon lovers combos. Each combo had two fluffy buttermilk pancakes loaded with crispy hickory-smoked bacon pieces, drizzled with vanilla sauce and dulce de leche caramel sauce. Topped with a slice of candied bacon and whipped topping. Served with 2 slices of hickory-smoked bacon and 2 eggs. Available all-day Monday through Friday for a limited time. It came in very nice plastic containers. Each container had an upper and lower section. This kept the pancakes and candied bacon separated from the eggs and smoked bacon. Well, we didn't get any vanilla or caramel sauce and we didn't get whipped topping. Whipped topping means fake whipped cream. We did get butter and syrup. It was just as well because the pancakes were slightly sweet anyway which balanced nicely with the slight saltiness of the bacon. Adding a bunch of sweet sauce and whipped topping would have made it overly sweet. The pancakes were great tasting with the bacon inside. The candied bacon on top was only slightly sweet. Other than that, it tasted like regular bacon. We ordered the eggs over-easy and they were cooked correctly. The eggs and smoked bacon were prepared very well and tasted very good. This place makes basic American breakfasts very well, so if that is what you're looking for, then you should come here. read more

I have been to this restaurant a few times and for many reasons this is not one of my favs. For reasons I believed that I would be able to get my birthday pancakes today I was DENIED! Apparently I had to get an email to receive pancakes! What a bait and switch. My dad got his Senior 10% off and gave me his pancakes out of sympathy. The waitstaff offered me a free coco and ice cream and was very apologetic for the misunderstanding. So if your expectations are to receive anything from this place lower them. I usually get their Patty Melt (at first, I thought they got rid of it, but it's in the burger section; it just doesn't have a picture next to it!), which comes on a buttered-up seeded rye bread with melted cheese, a hamburger patty, and sauteed onions; I opt for their seasoned fries (which could have been a bit more piping hot and bit more crispier). The Patty Melt was pretty tasty! My friend had her scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and a 3-stack buttermilk pancakes, all cooked-to-order and came out fresh. Our server, Ms. Tanika, was oh-so-sweet and quite attentive, and made sure that everything was awesome. This particular IHOP is literally one of the cleanest IHOPs I've been to and had a great warm vibe to it! Anytime that i went to this ihop i haven't really received a great service and it's not very professional. Won't forget the time that me and my family were rushed out because our waiter was late picking up his child . Not to be mean, but how is this our problem? We came here to hang out and eat. Every five minutes he was subtely asking us when we were done.There's not another waiter there who could take his place when he left? The food itself is not that good honestly. Not sure what has happened to IHOP. The only thing that is consistently good is the pancakes. The staff here is nice and efficient. The problem with IHOP is its food quality. All of the meats are the poorest quality available. I am not positive that the American Kennel Club would allow these meats to be served to their dogs. Anytime McDonald's is a waaay better option for breakfast, some reevaluating needs to be done. read more

My mother and I dined at the Clinton IHOP on Sunday morning and were very disappointed with the food. When we first arrived we were shown to our seats but they had to find us menus. That took some time. When we ordered the food came out incorrectly (eggs were fried hard instead of over medium) and when the order was remade, the eggs were cooked over medium but contained eggshells. The rest of the food was not hot. Our server, Natasha felt bad and gave us a senior discount to make up for the eggs. We appreciated the gesture but my mother is a senior so she was entitled to the discount anyway but at least it was the thought that counted. We went to fill out a survey on our receipt and it sent us to a website that was no longer taking surveys. We asked for a manager to come over. Meanwhile Natasha pointed out another code on the receipt that required us to download the IHOP app. After setting up the account, we spent 15 minutes trying to leave comments. Meanwhile no manager ever came over during all this time. We finally decided to leave. After our very disappointing visit, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants what they ordered and for it to come out hot because you may not get that here. read more

Its your middle of the road typical IHOP. You walk in, it smells a little funny. The coffee is hot, there is plenty of syrup, and you dont expect anything spectacular. This trip though, I was a little disappointed in their staple....Pancakes.....I got the red velvet.....They looked more like purple dics! There wasnt a ton of topping, and I didnt taste the traditional cream cheese-like topping. All I got was liquid sugar. Omlette delivered pretty solidly.
