Not too impressed. I have been to many Ihops in the past but this one was not even average. The booth still had crums in sest so I had to clean it with my napkin. The food was luke warm when it came out. The staff was nice but seemed distracted. We came here because we had to drop off my car across the street at Lone Star Autoplex. We left without eating breakfast and or lunch. We sat down around 9:30 food came out after a good wait so I am sure that is why it was not hot. I went to the restroom and well... it was not clean. Not filthy but paper everywhere. Which is not the establishment's fault just unclean people that come in. I will be sure to eat breakfast next time or stop somewhere else. Not my cup of coffee. OH! And speaking of coffee, we did have some and well... again not the best. I know IHop is like a fast food joint but I was not even impressed at all. I gave it 3 stars because of the staff. The service here is always slow. My boyfriend & I came in during a dead time, 3:30 & there were probably 4 other tables. We were sat down by the Host, and it took 10 min for a server to come to our table to even get our drink order. We wouldn't have even gotten a server if we hadn't got up to tell the host that no one had even come to our table yet. Once the host got the servers attention, they were all sitting in a corner talking. Once he told them, they all peeked over the ledge they were standing out, the manager stepped out, looked at our table, then proceed to walk away as if he didn't even see us. Finally about 5 min later a girl came and took our order and wasn't happy at all that she had to wait on us. This place can be a hit or miss. This visit was great! The hash browns were seasoned well & crispy, the eggs and pancakes were delicious. Our waitress, Yamila was the best!!! Sweet, helpful, courteous and attentive. She got our order right and giggled when our son agreed he wanted chocolate milk. I'll ask for her next time. read more

I understand it's only been opened a week but the service is awful and so is the food. I love IHOP, we go to Burleson quite often. I was looking forward to having an"Avacado and turkey Bennie". It's on the menu in Burleson but not in Cleburne? So I ordered the Simple & Fit scramble egg and Harvest pancakes. Yeah, no, the waitress got my order wrong 3 times!!! Plus I was charged $1.99 for three slices of tomato!!!! My family was finished with their meals before I even got food that was somewhat close to my original order. I still gave the young waitress a tip, I have to think that maybe she just wasn't trained properly and it is Christmas time. However, I will not be back to this IHOP for a long while. read more

Quite frankly the worst IHOP around just drive down to burleson if you're wanting food. The wait staff is slow at best and they can't seem to get a thing right. My girlfriend orders a spinach and mushroom omelette right? well where's the mushrooms... I hear the girl go back to the cook and say "you forgot her mushrooms... she wants them" like duh she wants them. They never check on their tables or offer refills or any kind of service in general. I've been here several times and every time it's average at best. We have ordered food from here 7 weeks in a row and have yet to get the order correct! I order the same thing EVERY WEEK and they have yet to get it correct. I finally made a complaint and the manager apologized and said it wouldn't happen again. It did. I think the most aggravating thing is that I've said something the past 4 Sundays to the same manager and not once has she comped anything, even when I paid for an entire other order of food. So I spend $8 on a plate of food I didn't order and didn't get my money back. We love IHOP but this particular location is awful. If it weren't for the fact that we have a tradition of eating at IHOP every Sunday I would've been done with them 2 months ago. The service was absolutely terrible, we waited thirty minutes for our food until we finally called over a manager and she went to check and they hadn't even put in our order! Our waitress had only come to check on us once during that time and said it should be out soon after about 5 minutes. Long story short we spent one whole hour waiting for our food because the waitress didn't put our order in and didn't care enough to go check on the food or us. Second time we have come in (wife and I), and received a very, very slow service. This time 2 sets of guests came in after us and they were served before us. The time before this it took probably 10 minutes to get approached by the server. This time after 5 minutes we got up and left. We told the front greeter about it and she shrugged her shoulders and said i guess we are busy. They were less than half full on Sunday before church. We will take our business elsewhere. read more

The wait time for your food is far too long, by the time you get it it's usually cold. The waitstaff aren't attentive and are usually grouped together chatting. The food was barely edible. Maybe it's just because I'd been driving a REALLY long time and the kids and I were tired and HANGRY, but I am NOT happy with this first visit to this IHOP! Our waitress was Amanda H. While attempting to balance a coffee carafe, a glass of ice water and hot cocoa, she accidentally spilled hot cocoa on my baby girl and burned her leg. She was about to spill the ice water until I caught it and helped her take the coffee carafe down and placed it upon the table, too! She immediately brought over napkins so that my daughter could clean herself up and I wiped down the table and the floor. Amanda said she would comp some of our food. She ended up only comping our drinks; water, coffee, and hot cocoa. Wow. I didn't expect a free meal. But I did expect that at least my daughter's meal would have been free. I did not summons a manager; there was already enough drama going on with an ambulance outside and a woman having to be carried out and attended to. Do not eat at this restaurant! All of our food came out room temperature after a long wait. We told the waitress and she said "uhhh what do you want me to do?" Ate here with my family since we were hungry for breakfast (sorta) in the middle of the night. The steaks are quite a bit tough, but the flavor isn't bad. The crepes are delicious as ever, and the service is pretty good. Since it was very busy, it did take around five minutes to get seated. Not because of a line, no, everyone was just too busy running like madmen to see the new family decide to join in. Once seated, our waitress was very attentive and quick as possible. Since I had just finished a day of working retail during the holidays myself I tried to cut these people some slack but...when we first walked in a girl came over and said "can I help you?" Which always irks me because I think that is a terribly rude way to greet people. Anyways, she sat is down at a booth and said our waitress would be with us shortly however 15 or so minutes went by and no waitress said a word to us though a few different ones walked right past us on several occasions. I guess they didn't need our business because they still failed to acknowledge me and my husband as we got up and left. I have been here 3 times now and all 3 times have been AWFUL! The first time we went it was like the people working had never had waiter/waitressing job ever before. Horrible service. The second time we went we got seated and waited at the table for a server to come wait on us. They never showed up. After 10 minutes we left. After that experience I should have known it wouldn't get any better. This past time we went the waitress that sat us at a table gave us our menus and just left. Took another 5-6 minutes for a different waitress to come serve us. While the one that sat us just stood by kitchen and didn't do anything. After finally ordering it took 25+ minutes to get our food. Had to send two items back because they were cold. While waiting for those items to be remade the waitress and cook got into an argument and everyone could hear them. Very bad service. The food sits on the counter while the servers are taking their cell phone breaks. Several in our party didn't get their food for more than an hour after being seated. A few of the orders got lost between the server and the kitchen staff. No managers on site and only one person was busing tables so people had to wait several minutes while tables sat empty and dirty. Nothing like getting a steaming cup of coffee with a lip stick stain on the brim. Yuck! read more
