Waiter very nice but believe he was pretty new. My husband opened up his silverware and the fork was filthy literally had food all over it . He told waiter and waiter brought another that was much cleaner . We got seated right away and I ordered tea with lemon and I did get my tea but no lemon and my husband ordered coffee and I'm not kidding you it was almost water . See video We just laughed and he made do with what he got . I ordered the beef with mushrooms breakfast and I'm telling you it was soooo good and I also got pancakes which were crunchy but I ate them as I never send anything back . It has been years since we have eaten at ihop and I'm sure we will eat here again . The restaurant was very clean so kudos !! read more

I placed a pick up order online for Mother's Day for my wife and I. The restaurant was busy, but I have seen IHOPs so much busier. My order was lost somewhere. I was asked by many people there my name and I never saw them again. The manager came to see me and I asked for my name. About 20 minutes later she came back and asked for my name yet again. At that time, I told her I had been waiting for an hour and a half for pancakes and an omelette. She went back to her system and found my order. Finally expedited my order and I was out the door 15 minutes later. It was an awful experience. I am a very patient person. The food was good, no offer to either a comp or a discount for my meal. I cannot give more than 1 star at this time. read more

TERRIBLE. I sat there for 20 min. Not a single server checked up on us or even got our drink. Terrible SHUT THIS IHOP DOWN ASAP.

The appetizers were hard as a rock. Waitress never came back for refill on coffee, the pot was half full so we only got one cup of coffee each. Waited for our food for an hour, then when we told the manager we didn't get the appetizers that they were supposed to redo nor our meals to just charge us for the coffee, orange juice and appetizer ( we did eat the cheese sticks out of it) all of a sudden everything magically appeared. We told them take it back we had to go. They brought the ticket, nothing was taken off plus she charged us for two orange juices. So got them to take the items off that needed to be. By the way the chicken appetizers that magically appeared looked just as hard as before. The manager said she hopes it will be better next time. I told her I don't know that there will be a text time. She replied ok, but she acted like she didn't care if we came back or not and they treated us as if we did something wrong. read more

The workers here are very nice. I've been here several times and there hasn't been a single time I've come across one that wasn't great. Food is always correct and the place itself is very nice and clean. I think a lot of the negative reviews are old, because I came here a long time ago and it was just the average mediocre ihop but now it's great. read more

Family an I went yesterday to enjoy each an have some breakfast, our morning was ruined by the people that work here , starting with a cook that can not cook a over medium egg , 1st set of eggs that came out was over easy eggs , 2nd set of eggs came out where cooked over hard, now to this waitress, she don't need to be a waitress at all!!! Started with her needing training on the iPad order system, next thing how to serve people, next to learn patience and do not reach around an over customers, I will not ever go back to this ihop, the only thing I seen good in this place was the manager was cleaning, while watching waitress on their phone read more

Jason was our server for my family of 4 and he went over and beyond with his service...we came in at about 630pm and it was pretty slow but everything was amazing.. was surprised at the low rating ... Would for sure come back again read more

I've been ordering for quite a long time from this location that used to ROCK!! USED TOO!! The new gal that started several weeks ago 'Precious' is not only rude on the phone, but according to my boyfriend is rude as hell in person. I've always had my stuff delivered and never a problem until the last 4-6 weeks. Now the tiny little blonde waitress is amazing...according to my boyfriend. BUT 'Precious' is a rude and lazy and answers the phone like 'why the EF are you here...' Megan, however, is a GOD SEND!! You all need to get some staff again and make Megan's job as a Manager ONLY!! She's AMAZING!! It is sucking BAD!! You need to A. Deliver yourselves and B. KEEP MEGAN!! Appreciate it if you want more examples...but that would require personal information. You are losing business and we will shout it from the rooftops if necessary!! Thank you!! One star is for Megan and the other is for the little blonde waitress. read more

This place is horrible. Meat was old service was nonexistent and just a bad experience. Asked for cheese on eggs with cheese on top. They put a slice of cheese on top. Cold. Too read more

Really I shouldn't leave a review. I didn't eat here. I went in, was seated, then ignored. There seemed to be plenty of waitresses, can't blame staffing. There were plenty of open tables, can't blame business. It's near a major highway but empty. Looks rundown. Don't go. Find a non-franchise restaurant. There's plenty around. read more

It took forever for them to sear us and when they did, the squashed 6 of us in a booth. When we asked for a table, they told us the section was closed for an interview and we'd have to make do with that section. The waitress took our order for 6 people and did it wrote anything down. My order was messed up. I asked for scrambled eggs and sausage and got eggs over easy with bacon. She took it back to fix it and instead of scrambling the eggs and then cooking them, the cook broke the yoke of the over easy eggs and mixed them... not the best experience. read more

Customer service was horrible #1 the food was not a pleasing at all , I ordered the French toast meal that came with 2 of everything pretty much , I chose pork sausages links . She brings me my food with a round sausage I never knew they sold and then tells me they ran out of the links. NOT ask me before hand "would u like something els", just gives me one round when the meal comes with 2. I brought that to her attention, she lets the cook know, long story short the sausage was coming 3x times and I never got it. I'd just save my money and time from coming to this location ! Total disappointment we just moved out here. read more

Service was slow to get to the table, once we where discovered service was pretty good, had to ask for everything ( I think the server was new ) but it came quickly and was made to order. Pretty good for a Sunday morning at IHOP, I noticed the pace picked up quickly as more people came in. We made it in about 8:45 am by 9:30 there where people waiting to be seated. read more

IHOP - American Near Me - Cleburne, Texas

We came around 10AM on a Saturday. The lot was full and I was sure there would be a long wait. Not so, we were seated right away and our drink order taken right away. When the drinks came (coffee) our food order was taken. The food arrived in good time. The problems with this restaurant are: Very small coffee cups and hard to get refills. Omelette was very dry. Forgotten sides. Small portions. I won't be back. read more

If I could give .01 of a star I would. Don't come here very often and every time we try again we remember why we don't. For a while the staff would fight and cuss right next to your table, so we quit going for a while. Decided to try again and we waited for an hour and still never received any food. There were a few tables that were already waiting when we got there and only one of them received food for the whole hour we were there. Never coming to the Cleburne Ihop again. read more

Me and my brother came here to eat when the place was completely empty. So I had hoped that we would be in and out within the hour as we were the only people to serve. There was nobody at the front and I had to walk over towards the kitchen to get the attention of a waitress who was chatting it up with the cook. We sat down and it took the waitress 15 minutes to finally ask us what we wanted to eat. We ordered and were not checked up on once for drink refills. I am not exaggerating when I tell you we waited an hour and 20 minutes for our food to arrive. An hour and 20 minutes and I could hear constant chatter between the two workers and we didn't get checked up on once. When our food finally arrived, my eggs that I ordered over medium were on the plate: both yolks busted, terribly undercooked, and COLD. I don't know how you cook eggs, mess them up so terribly, and then leave the egg soup out to cool off for so long that they're cold. I could expect something like this when there's a lot of customers, but nobody else had walked in. With the amount of time the staff was given, I could have walked to the kitchen, and fulfilled 6 other orders as one cook. But they couldn't even succeed in correctly fulfilling one order for 2 people given an hour and 20 minutes to do so. Then, once again, I had to get the attention of the waitress so that we could get the check. I've always been told to leave a tip, but tips are for providing service, which they did not do correctly in the slightest. So I left not a penny for that. There is ZERO excuse for any of that and this place is lucky for its location because that is the ONLY thing that keeps this place in business. I make the extra 20 minute drive to go to burleson every time. read more

I'd leave zero stars if I could. We ordered wonkas pancakes and nothing was correct except the batter was in fact purple, no filling and order was wrong. We haven't been here in years because of the low quality and poor service. We decided to try again and needless to say we won't be back. Save your money and time drive to Burleson. read more

Today, my 3 friends and I visited this establishment. We arrived early and were the only customers. We were seated and served by the manager. Coffee and food was decent. However, I find a few things off about our visit. 1)the manager was our waitress 2)she relayed to us she would be leaving the establishment to go get change for our cash payment exchange of $20 for an $8.65 meal 3)she would give $11.00 change on the $20.00 cash payment. (which although only .35 cents, still-) Therefore, it left me wondering how many times this person has short changed people in order to secure a tip. From a customer service standpoint, her banking needs should have been addressed before opening and she should have allowed me as the consumer to offer the tip of my choice, which would have been much better than what was given. I'm thinking this was a one and done for me. Thank goodness I had my best girlfriends there to offset this experience. read more

After reading the many reviews I was really hoping to have a strong awesome review. However I seriously can't give the a 5 Star review. 1- we came at a busy time - yeah our timing sucked but we had to be somewhere 2- got seated was given great service the wait staff handled the crowd well. Got our drinks and ordered quickly 3- we ordered a country omelette and Mexican tres lecha pancakes to share. Our food came fairly quickly the omelette came out slightly cold the cheese wasn't melted but had steam coming out of the sides. Upon eating the omelette it apparently was colder in the center the hash browns inside were soggy and slightly warm. Not very appealing in texture. (Note I have ordered this many times at other IHOPs never to have it this unappealing) The pancakes seemed to have gotten cold very quickly. I really wanted to have a great meal and experience at this restaurant. Please note the review has nothing wrong with the waiting staff they offered a new omelette but we refused. read more

We stopped by this location while in town visiting family. We had a table of 7 and a baby in the back room. Everyone ordered something different and it all came out as it was expected. We didn't have any problems and our waitress Becky was very communicative about what she was doing for us, and the other tables (each over 6 customers) in the room. The cleanliness of the restroom was why I took a star. I went to make the baby a bottle and the sink and towel sensors didn't activate well. Not only that, the restroom seemed dirty. read more

Despite two of their waitresses seeing us, they did not seat us or take our order. After 30 minutes of waiting we decided to just leave. Do not come to this ihop. No sense of urgency or care for their customers. Their service has always been subpar, and we will never eat here again. read more

I myself think it's a nice restaurant all the people that work there are down to earth. They have plenty of room for sitting and enjoying your meal. If you want a place to have a banquet party this is also the place they have a big back room and you will not have to wait they have lots of waitresses. The manager is awesome her name is Chris she is great if you need a job she is there to help out if you're good at your job. We cannot believe the service we received tonight. The waitress was rude and uninformed. She was sooooooooo unbelievably inattentive and we never got our drinks refilled. My father's sandwich was a grilled cheese and the cheese wasn't melted. The pancakes were underdone, and still had runny batter. They severed us without syrup and when we asked for some it took her 10 minutes to return with it. They brought all our food out separately (each about 5-10 minutes apart) and we had a group of 8. THEN the bathroom was DISGUSTING. I mean it looked like it had never been cleaned (mens) the urinal was stained yellow from lack of cleaning. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looked like! NEVER will come back to this location and will tell people to avoid. read more

Prices are astronomical. Food was only just okay. For the cost for 2 small meals and no extras was almost 70$. I could see this price for a place where you'd get full service and perhaps surf and turf on the menu, but this is just waffles and pancakes. The wait staff was lacking, not refilling drinks, and one of them was even singing some inappropriate songs very loudly during our visit. I will not return. The food isn't good enough for the price you pay for it, and neither is the customer service. The bathrooms are also messy. read more

IHOP - Chocolate milk shake kind of tasted like a chocolate Easter bunny that someone left in the freezer for too long. - American Near Me - Cleburne, Texas

Hi.. while it seemed like this ihop was understaffed at 2a.m., Which is slow I'm sure but, even on a Friday night they should at least have a cook a server and a manager working... not the manager doing all of the above. .. Charles was a great server and manager, and cook, but there should be three people doing those roles not Charles doing them all.. thanks, Charles hope you don't get in trouble for this. I feel like I hope could afford to staff their restaurant with competitive pay rates.. they just choose not too over corporate profits.. read more

Was seated fairly quickly. Waitress was rude, un friendly, refused to stand (leaned against the next table) to take our order. Took almost 20 minutes to get our food. She did not even serve us. We had to pass every plate to each person. Even with drinks. Drink glasses sat empty for the entire meal. Got rude when the hashbrowns came out wrong and all but refused to take them back to have them cooked crispy. Ordered a English muffin only to have it come out with a hair on it. Oh and they were out of grits. Very disappointed in this location. Tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and give it a shot after 1 previous bad experience, but nothing has changed. read more

Its a friday evening. Me and my family just came home from graduation. We decided to go to Ihop. It was near and we were hungry. It was good at first. We waited for a food for 2 hours. We finally got our food but we didn't get all of it so we continued waiting. We waited for anither hour until our waiter came and told us that at this point they wouldn't give us the food but they would charge the food.
