I visited here last Saturday just after lunch time. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and I can see why. The whole restaurant smelled..just gross. They were cleaning and mopping the floor near us so I don't know if it was just dirty mop water? But I smelled it since the moment I walked in until the moment I left. To start off, this place absolutely shit on my friend and me. Horrible experience from start to finish. We were sat at a dirty table. We ordered two stacks of pancakes, an omelet, and mashed potatoes. As we were waiting patiently for our food a manager came over with his shirt half untucked and made a joke about how long we've been waiting. We did not appreciate his unprofessionalism. Our food finally came out without the mashed potatoes. The pancakes were sloppy with horrible presentation and the whipped cream was completely melted while the waitress made jokes about it. I have to say this is the most emotional IHOP visit. My son and I drove from 45 minutes away to eat at Ihop because he wanted the cup cake pancake, it's his 3rd birthday. We walked in and were kindly informed that they did not offer the free meal promotion but a free desert, they are privately owned. We had driven so far and I have very little money, so a little upset I said we would look for another place for a free birthday meal. The waitress came out to our car as I was searching for somewhere else to eat, and told us the manager would honor the promotion! So we came back in and has a fabulous meal! I ordered food even though I couldn't afford it for myself and enjoyed watching my son having such a good time. Apparently a woman who was also eating paid for our meal! I don't know how she knew but she saved our day! It's so hard to find a restaurant with kind, attentive staff and customers! We will definitely be making the trip to this IHOP again! Holy mother of God, I've used cleaner bathrooms in Tijuana Mexico. And I mean central and south Tijuana, not the tourist section. The only toilet paper available was scattered about the floor, and every surface had a sheen of Christ knows what on it. I felt dirtier for having washed my hands in there, and it's disquieting to think of how many patrons have come out of that filth and went on to touch door knobs, table tops, silverware, etc. Makes one wonder about the sanitary conditions of the rest of the establishment, especially the kitchen... read more

My husband and I often order carry out here. Every time I call I am placed on hold so someone who didn't answer the phone can take my order. They have parking for curbside to go, and I'm never asked if I want them to bring the food out to my car. I park there and walk in. When I walk in, usually am greeted by a hostess who can't help ring out my order. She always, ALWAYS has to call someone else up to the desk to ring me out. Not sure why I always have to talk to someone else to place the order and to pay instead of the hostess (who I assume answers the phone too). Food is pretty good. Terribly sad how this old favorite has crashed and burned. Led to table by a young man who brought no silverware, and/or didn't think it was his job to place it. A very young waitress took the drink order and brought coffee but still no silverware. Have you ever tried to stir sweetener by vibrating your cup? Senseless. While waiting for our order I watched five millennials standing by the door talking, laughing, and looking at their cellphones. The restaurant was a filthy mess with food scraps and paper all over the floor. Did I already say there were five millennials standing around? Oh, yes I did. The food was good but the filth was unacceptable. The manager came by at some point to ask how things were and I told her how disappointing it was. When I told her about the staff issues she passed it off by saying she was at the bank, never commenting beyond that, or correcting the kids who continued to just stand around even though the boss was back. Staff behavior is a direct reflection of the leader, and clearly she is a poor one. To the issue of filth her response was that the vacuums did not pick up very well. Then, for show she (not her staff) tried to pick up a few larger pieces of food on the floor but I could hear her say, after bending down and coming back up, "I'm too old for this." Are you kidding me? Nothing but bs excuses for what amounts to a root cause of extremely poor management. I used to come here with my entire family but never, ever again! I stopped for breakfast a week ago. It was my first time there...and my last. I ordered a simple breakfast of blueberry pancakes and coffee. What I thought was a 5.00 order of pancakes turned out to be 8.00. I didn't order the fruit sauce over the top, or the whip cream., but that's what I got. I also ordered one cup of coffee, I had no idea it would cost me 2.00. That simple order cost me over 10.00. I usually go to Cheryl's for breakfast, but thought I'd try something different. Went to this IHOP on New Year's Day. The worst, absolutely worst omelet I have ever had. I took 2 bites and it was 2 bites too many. Same with my boyfriends scrambled eggs. When I asked why it was so bland, they waitress said I had ordered the omelet without pancake batter which makes the omelet fluffy and flavorful. I have never heard of adding pancake batter to an omelet. A few hours later we were both sick with stomach cramps, etc. I will never enter any IHOP anywhere after this experience. read more

IHOP is like an old friend, it was a special place after church on Sundays for a family meal, my go to late night study location and after bar taco-bell alternative in college and now a place to get simple predictable food. Been to this location twice in the past few months; once in the early morning after dropping my son off at the airport on the way to college and now with him and the bride after picking him up for break. One nice thing about this location is the abundance of servers; true that ours accidentally threw away our order slip the last time here and we had to re-order, but she was honest and earnest and I appreciated that. A good mix of dishes between the three of us; Chicken and Waffles, Chocolate Chip Pancakes and the Philly Cheesesteak. All respectable, all good. If you are looking for simple consistency, the ready availability of butter pecan syrup, or like me, to enjoy the nostalgia associated with memories, I'd say give it a try. read more

Came here just for my coworker who also worked here. She promised us free milkshakes and they were delish. Menus were sticky and the environment smelt like a McDonald's children's playplace. Update: took a sip of my milkshake and found something in my mouth. Waitress said it was pancake but I'm not convinced. No wonder there's no one else in the restaurant...Food was mediocre, hash browns were barely browned. Still nauseous from whatever was in my milkshake. Poor service, once we had ordered our food and was out in about five minutes however the server never stopped to ask us how our food was, if we needed water or more coffee. I actually had to ask someone else's server for water and condiments. Our server stuck his finger in our food and once he dropped our food off he quickly walked away. I went to IHOP today and it's a sunday morning so we had expected to wait for a seat. When we got to our seat it took over 8 minutes until the waiter got to our table to take our drink orders. After we ordered out drinks it took way too long for the waiter to bring out 3 drinks back to out table. We eventually got our drinks, ordered our food and waited for our food to arrive and about 10 minutes into waiting to get our food the waiter stopped by and told us that the food will be out shortly so we got our food like another 5 minutes after she stopped by. My friends and I ate our food that was really good and it wasn't until we were putting our extra food into to go boxes when we both noticed we had hairs on our food. We told the manager and she said "huh can I see your chicken" so I gave it to her and she looked at it and told us that she will get a new chicken and crepe. She never said sorry and we noticed that our waiter was talking to the manager annoyed that we found hair in our food. We got our new food without hair in it from the manager who didn't say a word and walked away after she set it down at our table. Manager never said sorry and was rude. This was the worst place i have ever been to. It took 40 minutes to get everyones order to the table. Half of the stuff was burnt or not right and the kids were the last to get their food which was 10 minutes after everyone else. Had to finally ask for more coffee and water after 15 minutes of waiting for someone to come around. The table next to us asked to speak to a manager because it was taking so long and she was so rude to them that they got up and left. After our complaints to the server she apologized but didnt once go and get the manager (not that it would have done any good)and didnt attempt to take anything off the bill when clearly you could look at our table and more than half the food was untouched. Then before leaving we stepped into the bathroom and if i would have done that before sitting down to eat we wouldnt have stayed!! It was disgusting papertowels all over the floor, the garbages were overflowing, sanitary napkins not properly disposed of and our feet were sticking to the floor. Absolutely disgusting!!!
