I stopped to IHOP this afternoon with my mom and brother for munch after my mom's doctor's appointment. We each had one of their burgers. Mine was delicious and my mom and brother each said theirs was good also. Kayla was our server and I think she did a wonderful job even though they seemed to be understaffed this afternoon. This was the worst food I ever had! Watched a cook put her teeth in her mouth and grad a plate of food without washing her hands. The burger was super dry. When I bit into the burger, it turned to dust! Way over cooked for anyone's liking! Would rather starve then eat at this shit hole! My wife got the steak tips there was on four tips in her box. Me and a friend came in and the food wasn't good. It wasn't cooked all the way and the workers were talking about seeing a rat in there then started saying it's normal they see then all the time. Then we said something to a worker and she said another employee found a frog outside one night and brought it in and was showing customers a customer got up and left. If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. We stopped here for dinner. As soon as we walked in the door, some man in a red shirt, the Manager I guess, started yelling "THE DOOR, DOOR" waited 10 seconds and yelled again as he walked across the back wall of the resturant. All of the customers looked back and forth from him to us. We were finally seated but no one came to our table. Finally we were asked if we had been helped yet. We said no. At this time an older gentleman sitting close by said to his server "No manager has the right to treat people like that". He stood up and put money on the cashiers counter and left the restaurant. We soon followed him without ever being served anything. The management at this location needs a lot of training on how to behave when customers are present. When it comes to chains, the difference is usually in the wait staff. The food is usually the same anywhere no matter what part of the country you are in. But, the wait service makes the difference. First off, it took over 20 minutes for us to get seated, and there were plenty of empty tables available!? I didn't understand. So, that put my whole family on edge. Once we finally got seated, the waitress came and waited on us. We ordered, and told her we were in a hurry. The food actually came rather quickly compares to the wait time to get seated. My fiance and i used the ihop n go so we could pick up breakfast and enjoy it at home together. We both ordered omelettes and side of hashbrowns and he ordered churro pancakes as well. When we got there the person at the desk (the manager i believe) told us they forgot our hashbrowns and we had to wait for him to go get them. We finally get our order and go home to eat and the avacado that i ordered on my omlette isnt there (was an extra dollar to ba added) and the pancakes my fiance ordered werent there at all. (They were 8 dollar pancakes). I don't recomend them at all. Don't waste your money. Go get food from somewhere that will actually give you what you paid for. read more

I use to love ihop, but tonite ruined that for me. For some reason the waitress though I only wanted bacon... and when I said I didn't get my food she knew exactly what I had ordered previously..... and when I finally got it my burger was raw!! And not just raw, it tasted like they got it from under the stove two years ago or something, for the first time in my life, I didn't tip. And my waitress knew what she had done because she stood in the doorway to the kitchen staring at me. Keep in mind I didn't do anything to this chick, we talked about our kids and how picky they can be and all that kind of stuff, not one bad thing, not one disagreement, nothing!!! So why me??? This IHOP is conveniently located on Harper Road (close to the interstate) and seemed like the right choice to satisfy my breakfast cravings. I needed to grab a quick bite with a friend and needed WiFi so this seemed like the right choice to knockout my breakfast cravings. Staff was friendly and got us seated immediately, even though the restaurant had plenty of customers. The waitress was friendly and quick to get us drinks and menus. This is pretty much where the good part of our experience ends. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time but did not look or taste appetizing. The Mozzarella sticks were cold and undercooked, waffle was small (was that a child's portion) and the hash browns looked like a bad attempt by lid learning to cook. Even worse their WIFi was not showing up even after I checked with the waitress. The waitress was kind enough to omit the mozzarella sticks from the ticket and inform the manager. However, the manager never came to check on us. The only thing good that came out of this was the donation I made to CMN. We left unsatisfied and literally had to go elsewhere for round 2. This place took my IHOP cherry. And they do wholemeal pancakes. This made me a wee bit happy. The wait is what gets to you though. There were other's there and the wait was about 20 minutes to get seated. Once seated it doesn't take that long to get your food and start shoveling away. I couldn't figure out why there were so many syrup flavours though, but maybe that's just an Australian thing. We only have maple syrup on our pancakes, so having blueberry syrup on my blueberry wholemeal pancakes made me a bit blueberry giddy. All in all, it's pancakes. And pancakes make me happy. Met some family here for breakfast on our way through town. Location is convenient and close to the interstate. We actually left Bob Evans first after waiting 30 mins without anyone being seated though there were empty tables sitting dirty the whole time. IHOP was busier but got us seated immediately. Our waitress was fast and attentive. Food was good. Surprisingly, IHOP has some decent vegetarian and vegan options. I got red potatoes with peppers and onions, an English muffin, and a fruit cup, which was all very tasty. My husband got cheeseburger sliders. He didn't love them, but then you really should stick with breakfast at an IHOP. read more

Upon arrival we noticed the place was not very busy yet we waited 10 minutes to be seated, we were the only ones waiting. Once seated we realized we were placed right behind what seemed to be a prolific crackhead. Very loud very disturbing. I VERY specifically asked for NO whipped cream on my pancakes yet still got whipped cream on my pancakes. Asked for bacon and sausage and got ham. We could hear an argument in the kitchen taking place between employees. Door dash employee came in to pick an order up and waited so long he decided to say screw it and just leave. We visited this iHop on a return trip from Myrtle Beach. We were not in a hurry but we also didn't want to waste time as we still had 3 more hours to drive. The place was clean and pretty empty. It was about 7:00 pm on a Saturday. There were 3 tables of people in our section leaving several open tables. We were seated and ordered very quickly. Drinks arrive pretty quick. And then we sat and waited and waited and waited. The waitress came back twice and said it wouldn't be much longer. She never asked to refill drinks. After 1 hour we received our food. It was accurate, hot and good. Then the waitress then refilled the drinks. She had to replace the carafes of coffee as even that had went cold after an hour. She checked back to make sure everything was OK. Then she seemed to disappear. We wanted our check to leave as we have been there 1 1/2 hours already. It was another 10 minutes until we got the check. We noticed the other tables had the same problems. One table has finished eating before the last person was served his food. Another had small children who after an hour were not so patient. Mom ate first while dad took the kids out then dad came in and mom took the kids. Dads food had to be cold. My point is this place has the slowest cooks. We will not stop here again. We can get good food at plenty of other places at this exit off I 77. When we stopped here last year we were in and out in an hour. That's why we went this year. 1 star is for waitress and 1 star for the food read more

Finally, she mumbled something about a 10 minute wait. When my husband pointed out that the restaurant was virtually empty, she muttered something about having too many other tables!?! Our food was delayed due to an unavoidable issue in the kitchen. But the manager came to our table, covered our breakfast and cooked some of it himself.... Let me tell you the eggs he cooked were the greatest I have ever eaten at out... They are almost better than my moms eggs. It's impressive when a manager actually knows how to do the jobs of others. Been to this chain only few times. Some sort of smell on entry. Not sure if musty or something else. Not nice. Pancakes were fine but egg whites ordered with them were rather cold and had hint of yolk in them. Coffee as expected. Service was ok.... Not overwhelming friendly. read more

My fruit was 4 small pieces of pineapple and 2 pieces of muskmelon. I ordered red potatoes with grilled onions and green peppers. They came out as regular potatoes. No peppers of onions. We're optimistic as we walk in because we see several available tables, just needing to be cleaned off. Staff moving at snail's pace. Table busser was not using a tub, instead lifting dishes off of tables (a handful at a time) and waking them back to kitchen. Awful experience. Awful service. Awful management. Stopped here on our way home for a quick meal and ended up being there for over an hour and a half. Our food was taken to the wrong table and took an hour to even reach us. Waitress visited us 4 times all night--to take our order, drop off the drinks, drop the food (eventually), and then to give us the check. It took a half an hour after we were done eating to just get the check. She didn't give us a discount for our wait and there were no apologies what so ever. We asked to see a manager and he only gave us $2 off--which is absolutely ridiculous. There were 6 other tables in the restaurant and they all seemed to have similar situations--and one guy got a house salad--how hard is a salad to make?!??!!! Normally my wife has good experiences at I-Hop but this was my first and last time; needless to say I will NEVER stop at this location ever again. Everything about it was horrible. We were a family -2 adults 2 small children, traveling through staying at a hotel up the road. We tried to try a local place for dinner, but found out it was closed on a Friday evening at about 6pm. We were greeted and seated promptly and served by the same lady who seated us. She was hustling her butt off and seemed to be the only one working. She seated several more guests promptly and served the tables near us. (Restaurant was probably a third full with patrons.) Despite the hustle, she was friendly and attentive, very receptive to the kids babbling kid talk to her. Husband had breakfast for dinner ordered "Just like this picture on the menu", kids had super healthy for dinner chocolate chip pancakes.
