Love the friendly and quick service here. This is one of two pancake shops we regularly visit, this one we seem to wait a lot less on busy mornings and service is quick. Wide variety of choices, eggs taste fresh, bacon is perfectly cooked. And the pancakes, always perfect. My last order also had hash browns and i used every variety of syrup they had in the syrup tray on my pancakes. Parking is tough on the weekends like we found last Sunday morning - years ago we used to park across the street but I noticed this last time that parking lot say no IHOP parking - bizarre as those businesses seem closed so why should it matter. So we pray to the parking gods that we time our arrival to someone's departure. read more

Really enjoined myself here with my family on mother's day! It was crazy packed but the servers and hostess (I want to say she was the manager) handled it with grace and was very efficient on getting everyone seat. The servers were amazing! The cooks were even more amazing! I usually go to the one in fullerton and they get stingy with their food. Here in the Anaheim location there was no issue with the food and they served it as a full plate. All of our foods looked like the picture. 3 1/2 Stars. Would be four if I could have found a coupon. Never one around when you need one! This is a rather small IHOP. Cramped parking lot and minimal amount of tables. Other than that, it's all you'd expect from an IHOP. I had the Rooty Tooty Fresh N Fruity four sausages and egg breakfast. The pancakes were big and fluffy and covered with strawberries and wHipped cream. The eggs were good. Sausages were small. The hash browns were a little over crunchy. Welcome to Anaheim, home to my second-favorite IHOP in the world. Can we talk about old-school IHOP for a minute? IHOPs like this one, that always seem busy, and warm, and inviting, because they're not the size of a Walmart. I like old IHOPs in general because the new ones seem so plastic-y, like they're created from a giant injection mold that just pops out restaurants, fully formed. That's creepy. This little IHOP though, is the opposite of creepy. Its like a slice of my childhood, covered in boysenberry syrup (which I always used as a kid because we didn't have it at home and it made me feel fancy). Anyway, this place is more like a local diner, at least it seems like that to me. I've only been a couple of times, usually with rowdy groups of friends, but I see people that look like regulars. And those people look darn happy to be there. I'd rate the food at above-average-IHOP level. That means that the pancakes approximate something I'd serve someone at home, and that the grilled-cheese does its job when I need it to. Those are the only things I've had, and maybe some scrambled eggs, which were fine, although lacking in creme fraiche and truffle oil, which is how I prefer my eggs. (That's I joke, I know they don't serve that at IHOP, even though I always ask). In short, why not stop by when you're in the neighborhood. When two people try to enjoy the food and it causes sickness the next day, that is a sign that quality over quantity isn't a laughing matter... I usually enjoy pancakes and fresh eggs, but with the way companies are trying to save every penny, you can't put a price tag on fresh. Why don't restaurants use real ingredients anymore? We were able to taste the quality. Anyhow, the service at this particular place is friendly and keeps up, but the food is bland and twice, we ended up sick. The food always comes out hot and they make it like I ask (bacon and sausage well done, hash browns crispy). The servers are all so sweet and accommodating. If you plan on eating here, consider your party size. This place is extremely small and the service is extremely slow. At a party of 8 the seating was terrible & tight. They attempted to split us up into two separate tables & once they found us a decent place for seating the food took for ever to come out. Love Love Love this Ihop! The service is ALWAYS great, the waitresses are always nice friendly and they have no problem chatting with you. I always ask for something different from whats the menu offers in addition the standard meal, and they always seem to accommodate. Their response is "Oh that sounds good, I'll have to try that" and it is, its always good. The food is fresh, the portions are large and service is always on point! This place it's a bit small than your normal Ihop but it gives it a very cozy vibe. I go here so often the owners already know me. Very sweet people even the girls that work there are super nice and very attentive. Unfortunately because it's so small I usually always order to go specially on the weekends. I've been to better IHOP's than this location. The waitress didn't go over our orders and she completely mistaken my order for another when I was clearly pointing to the one what I wanted. My scrambled eggs came out still runny but my daughters scrambled eggs came out thoroughly cooked. I had two huge piles of hash browns per the wrong order she had written down. One pile of those hash browns was overly cooked and almost burned. As well as my husbands fries were cooked too long and we're almost as hard as rocks. Food wasn't prepared correctly, certain items listed on the menu were not plated. For example the sour cream and Serrano pepper were not plated with the chorizo omelette ordered. Also chicken strips were not plated with honey mustard sauce. Hash browns were cold. This created more work for our waitress Stephanie. ( I feel this was a back staff/ kitchen issue) However, When the manager Deborah came by to inquire she blamed the waitress. Our waitress took our order correctly and her service was pleasant. Then she blamed the cook stating he was too old (mentioning he was 35yro), which offended everyone at the table. I feel it was unprofessional for the manager to throw her employee's under the bus. I would NOT want to work under a management staff that operates in this fashion. Acknowledge/ Evaluate the problem, apologize & work on a solution. It was not necessary to place fault on ANY one. Kids eat for free after 4pm. It's kinda awesome. We just have to pay for me and my husband's food. We went there on a weekday (monday afternoon). We went on a weekend but it was packed and we dont wanna wait an hour for pancakes. So we went the next day coz we promised our daughter we'll get some pancakes at ihop. Anyway, the food is good for the price. My husband got steak tips with corn and mashed potato. I got tilapia with mashed potato. The service is ok. Our server was friendly but when he's serving, he doesnt put the food or drinks down carefully/slowly. It's not even busy, just 3 tables occupied. Maybe he's just really like that. All in all we still enjoyed our visit and may come back soon. read more

My girlfriends and I came to breakfast here and the service was just great! The ladies who sat us and also our server were super sweet. Our server never forgot about us and kept checking in on us even when we couldn't decide what to order! She also helped us in giving us recommendations! I came here a couple of months ago and the food was good. It was comparable to the food quality of their other locations. However, for my fellow germ-o-phobes out there lol, you may be feeling a little uneasy. I think this place reuses the unused creamer containers that customers leave at their tables. I understand the need to reuse the unused containers for financial reasons even though the thought of it is gross lol, but when we received our bowl of creamer packets, it was covered in crumbs from the previous customer(s). My fingers were covered in what appeared to be butter and pancake crumbs from having to touch it. It just really grossed me out and made me question this particular location's level of cleanliness in regards to the care taken when preparing our food. read more

The waitress Angel is always nice, quick taking the orders, and accurate with what we ordered. The location is kind of small, so it gets kind of crowded. This establishment is plagued with rude servers. The bathrooms are disgusting not to mention the gravy was sour!!!! The gravy was bad and tasted like something was off. When I sent it Back the first time because my food was cold I had taken a bite they took it back to the kitchen and reheated it in the microwave after I took a bite .........that is a health code violation wants food touches another person it is never supposed to cross those lines and go into the kitchen. If I could go beyond giving this place 5 stars I would in a heartbeat. This location is my go-to for breakfast!!! I'm the mom with the two girls and now my newborn son who is always is in there! I get the best top notch service from all the morning server's! My favorite is Amanda & Angel always put my children first and show care and conversate with me when they have time! As for the restaurant itself food is superb 10/10 food is hot when It touches my table! Coffee refills always given extra napkins and an extra plate for my daughter! Clean, condiments were readily stocked, kids eat free after 4:00 PM. Now, the Bad: Menu selection is very small, and the water was gross. A man walked into the restaurant to use the restroom, and nothing else. As previously stated, only three other families in the restaurant, and it took a long time to get the check, which ended up being for another table. Not giving this bad review because the food was bad, the food was great!! The whole point of this is because they just got done cleaning the bathrooms when I walked into them, there was still pee and pubic hair all over the urinal and toilet! Bathroom still smelled like urin. When I brought it up to the attention of the manager, they went into the bathroom to inspect it with the person who cleaned it. They came to a conclusion it was clean enough. I went back in 20 mins later after them walking out and bathroom was still as horrible when i first complained.
