Just go to flame boiler on the other side of Anaheim Blvd. As We came in the cashier with glasses was just on her phone I had to say "Hi" first get her attention. We ordered, asked for a water cup. She said they were out, but there was clearly other cups by the register. I also asked to use the bathroom to wash my hands. The cashier said "it was out of service".... I also asked to dine in she put our order in a plastic bag. She was in a bad mood. Didn't ask if we needed anything else. We won't be back. I had such a great experience at WaBa Grill. Jose was incredibly kind and helpful from the moment we walked in. He went above and beyond by helping me get all the condiments and making sure everything was perfect. I went in for a large steak bowl and was handed a large bowl 1/2 filled with white rice with about 1/4 of the rice covered in meat. Literally less than a 1/2 portion. When I asked what was the deal with my food the worker told me "we have to weigh them now." Place was empty and 5pm on a Thursday night and I understand why now. I come here often because I live close so I stopped at the 7-11 and ran into two employees purchasing two buzzballs each. I thought nothing of it and bought my own drinks and then went to get a meal at the waba grill next door. After purchasing my meal I sat in my car four about 5 minutes when I noticed the two employees laughing and staring at me from within their car. I only noticed because they had rolled down their window to laugh and rolled it up after I noticed them. They then continued to stare at me which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Ordered from this location by accident and ended up checking it out. It's off of Ball Rd and Anaheim Blvd. facing east, so right across from the Walmart Neighborhood store. You have to park in the back and walk around to the front which if you're in a rush is a bit annoying. I walked in around 1:15 p.m. on Friday and there was no one out front and no one dining in. I saw a lady in the back make her way to the front but then stopped to talk someone in the back. Finally she came out front, said hi to me and started cleaning the back area. Two minutes later another lady walks out and I let her know I'm picking up my mobile order and she hands it to me and doesn't ask me if I'd like sauce to go so I walked out. I know this is my second Waba Grill review in three weeks but Waba Grill is one of our go to places for our hockey club for meal ordering. The food and the customer service especially were exceptional! Both people that helped us (I really regret not getting their names) for our order on 10/12 at 7:00 pm were so accommodating, detail oriented, friendly and helpful! Every meal was individually packaged and labeled with names and one of the workers went through and checked each order. He was above and beyond fantastic! She was really nice and suggested I get the mini bowl combo that comes with a small drink and a side. She saw that I wasn't sure what to get. I usually just get a regular bowl with no drink. So let me paint the scene for you 3 girls working. 2 at the register, 1 in the back cooking. I go up to order with the girl that is staring right at me and start ordering, as I finish she laughs and says oh I'm not taking orders, so whatever I repeat myself to the second girl. I go sit down. As I'm eating (with company) one of the workers with red hair and piercings runs to the door to yell at her "homegirls" across the street and starts yelling "throw it back throw it back throw it back" like uhhhh girl you are on the clock. As of now restaurants like this are not allowed to have patrons inside only take out. So what did I order? a delicious chicken plate with brown rice. It was pretty tasty, well cooked with dressing on the side as I ordered. Didn't have to wait much, the Food was ready within minutes. The lady at the register got my order wrong, the first time which is understandable, so I went back to order again I noticed that they were making all of our food without gloves they had one glove on their hand and they were touching everything in the kitchen. The cashier I felt was kind of rude and rushed along, also she did not have gloves on, she was touching money receipts all that stuff packaging the food without gloves. I work in fast food so I find it highly unsanitary, when I asked them if they could make sure to wear gloves while preparing my order, they all had some type of attitude, when I got the food the dumplings weren't even cooked all the way .
