A friend referred IHomeShutter to me. David explained all the details that we never thought about. He is professional, thorough with explaining pros and cons, and he wants to make sure customer is satisfied. Most importantly, I consider the price is greatly reasonable/cheap for the quality of the blind. As you can see from the picture, it's precise and neat. He cares about the end result. Not only I gain knowledge about blinds, I learn that IHomeShutter also gives back to the needy. I am beyond grateful.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with iHomeShutters! From the start, David was incredibly patient while I took my time bidding out the project, never making me feel rushed. Out of the three bids, I received, iHomeShutters was the one that provided the most value on the dollar. David's knowledge of different window coverings is top-notch. He helped me pick the perfect mix: blackout honeycomb blinds for the bedrooms, classic shutters for the front of the house, and roller shades for the back to effectively block out that harsh sun. The communication was quick and efficient, and everything actually arrived earlier than the quoted wait time! The installation process was just as impressive. You are given a convenient two-hour window and even text you when they are 30 minutes away. The install itself was fast. I highly recommend iHome Shutters for anyone looking for a seamless experience and high-quality result.

During the consultation, David explained the various options available in the most structured ways. Rogelio, my installer, was professional, courteous, and highly skilled. He meticulously installed all four windows with remote control and voice activation capabilities within just two hours! Overall a perfect experience from start to finish. David was informative and quick to respond to all my texts. I was very appreciative that he accommodated my busy schedule and communicated entirely through texts including the initial quote and install. Price was very competitive against the other estimates we received. The final shutters we ordered were beautifully installed and transformed our room. Yeyo arrived for the install and was polite and respectful to our family and house. Install was done quickly with minimal disturbance to our sleeping members. We only had one window done but would definitely consider them again for a few other windows we have in mind.

Since our old honeycomb blinds started to fall apart, all at once, like there was a timer, which we bought ca. 11 years ago at 3D Blinds, the worst company imaginable on so many levels you should definitely stay away from, we had a totally different experience with iHomeShutters. We needed a quick solution and David Ang accommodated our schedule, although that meant a lot of rescheduling for him, but he made it work, came more or less right away. His consultation was perfect, he did not simply try to sell the most expensive options. Now that the new shades are installed, we are very happy with the quality, looks, fair price and the very friendly service. All in all highly recommended.

This is the third house ihomeshutters has done for me. Each time, it is efficient, the price is great and I love the quality. Highly recommend them and Yeyo was fantastic with the install.

Pretty straightforward and reasonable pricing. Their highest quality shutter was actually more affordable than some of their other options because they pass down the discounts from their manufacturer rather than keeping it themselves + they make donations! I got the initial quote from them first, and once I'm good with that number, they sent someone over to do the measurement and finalize style. They estimated 3 months for my custom shutters but they finished earlier than expected. The actual installation itself took ~1.5 hr for 3 custom shutters, 1 blind, and 1 roller blade. It come with a 90 day labor guarantee as well, so that's pretty reassuring. The shades themselves are also covered by warranty (different years depending on the option you choose). Overall, great communication, and I'm happy with the result! The only thing that might deter some people is the fact that they're Zelle/check only.

We had old wooden shutters prior and Just had blinds installed and they are more beautiful and perfect than I imagined!!! They blocked so much light and I can still see out the windows and they are so clean looking! It was hard to imagine what they would turn out like, but it is even better than I dreamed!!! it is such a clean and modern look and it's amazing how much of a difference it makes!!! He explained everything as he went, asked for our opinion on a couple things (side of the window to put the pulley), and the finished product looked great. High quality and timely work! David was an excellent consultant who made great recommendations to fit both our needs and price point for our new home. We received regular updates about the ETA of our roller shades. They respond via text and by phone. Yeyo did the installation. He was timely, courteous, and professional. Best of all, he removes his shoes! No need for shoe covers! From the initial appointment with David to the installation process with Yeyo, my experience with iHomeShutters was flawless. They provided excellent advice and were very attentive to detail. 2 years later, we haven't experienced any issues at all with our shades. Worth their reputation. A pleasure to work with, the automatic rolling blinds keep the sun out of my eyes when the sun dips down to come through upper south-facing windows in the winter, and the honeycomb black-out blinds look good in the bedroom. I like playing with the remote control as the sun comes in and out across the south-facing windows and sliding glass doors. Highly recommended! read more

From the first consultation, he was friendly and highly communicative, showing us all the different options and giving recommendations to match the purpose for different rooms of the house. The blinds and shades look great in each room and really complete them. Contacted Shawn after reading reviews here on Yelp and after seeing photos of his work on Houzz. Shawn took a look around, listened to what I had in mind, and thankfully told me what would or wouldn't work. He picked a beautiful quartz counter top, gave me options to choose from for the paint, faucet and hardware. He has a great team working for him. They were respectful and trustworthy. The refinished cabinets look like new. They do high quality work. He made his best effort to get things done within the time frame discussed but, as with any renovation, there were some unexpected issues that led to minor delays and affected cost. I really appreciated how his main concern was that I was happy with the end result. Before and in process photos attached (forgot to take a picture of the final product and don't want to clean the kitchen right now).

There of course are small things that came up in communication between what we decided with Shawn (keeping our dishwasher) and what the workers on site knew about (tried to give it away 2x), but that is common in any project, and most important to us is every small thing we noticed/flagged was fixed without question. We've already referred Shawn to anyone who asks. He took our space from a very dated 1960s vibe to modern but with character, and a design that matches our ranch style home. The issue over the years was entertaining as the noise between the loft and living room was fighting each other. In our mind we needed an interior designer and a project manager as our initial thoughts was to build up a wall to separate the two areas, but the intent of the open space in the original design was to allow flow between the two rooms. So we had the idea to build up the wall to separate the space and add a shutter system to allow the space to open for the original intent. In working with Judy she assumed the role of interior designer and project manager as we expected to have a contractor involved in build up the wall to separate the space. We wanted an interior designer to also be involve in how the wall was to be designed as we had dual purpose for this, separate the rooms for noise but yet allow access if needed or required. She takes the time to understand tastes of me and my wife individually. She also provides CAD (computer animated design) previews of her ideas. As the project expanded she accommodated our changes as we included a home theater expansion in our plans. We asked that our living room not look like a home media center and she came up with extremely tasteful ideas that worked for us. We love the space that she has created and it's been a blessing. As a project manager she took away the stress of dealing with the contractors and as an interior designer worked with us to achieve a look and feel that worked both with me and my wife. Wow wow wow! I am so impressed at iHomeShutters and their business and product. We ordered shutters for our entire home which is about covering 26 windows some of which are very large. Upon meeting David, we had an amazing first impression of him and his company. He measured all the windows extremely quickly and was very polite and considerate of our little girl and her sleep schedule. We immediately felt like we could trust David and his team with our window treatments as he was very professional and Freindly. We had been looking for an affordable window treatment and we are Sooooo HAPPY we found iHomeShutters. The shutters look amazing and our house looks so much better and so elegant. We had asked for a quote from Costco and they had told us that shutters was going to cost over $40000 so we had already given up on the idea of having shutters even though that is what we wanted. After speaking to David, he educated us on the different kinds of shutters and their pricing and how their synthetic shutters are stronger and sturdier than the wooden ones that we couldn't even afford. These shutters are sturdy, beautiful and stand the test of time and most importantly for us they are children safe. And it cost us less than $10000 to cover ALL of our windows. Do not hesitate and go with them if you are planning for an elegant window treatment. His staff that came over to our house spent an entire day working carefully and very CLEAN to put up all the shutters. I am very impressed how clean and professional they were. By far the best experience I have had with anyone doing any work on our house. After they left I didn't have to clean up or do anything. They were also very accommodating as our daughter needed to sleep in her room so they worked on her room first quickly so I could put her down for her nap. I recently had iHome Shutters come out to repair the shutters in my home, which had sustained a lot of damage after our house was rented out for six years. From the very beginning, they were extremely responsive and scheduled a visit quickly. Yeyo was the technician who came to do the work, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was not only super professional but also very friendly and easy to talk to. He took the time to clearly explain how the repairs would be done and also gave me detailed guidance on how to properly care for and maintain the shutters going forward. I have known this David Ang guy for over 10yrs. Had many different projects in the past with him (home remodel/design, not shutters). Doesn't matter what he does, he is a very perfectionist guy, which is good. It just means he will take care of the clients at his best. Very professional and responsive. Love that! Very courteous, friendly, and detail in sharing information and knowledge. He definitely won't rip you off. Just got shutters finally installed adding to 3 rooms. Very upfront with all the costs to make sure we know what to expect. Found his quotes are sometimes even less than 50% compared to the shutter companies like Hunter Douglas, Budget Blinds, or Home Depot. Clearly their overhead is too much. Shutter quality is very strong, with aluminum core to reinforce the louvres. Feel and look are super great. Might be weeks to get the shutters to finish production but it's all very much worth it with the cost savings, quality of the products, and the whole awesome experience. Needless to say, he knows this world inside and out and was very patient with us as we ingested all of his knowledge and recommendations. (FYI, David was also great with our kids as well!)
