Servers were working hard and efficient but we did have to wait a little bit to get our order placed. My spouse got the California Stack which was loaded with fresh avocado. My spouse normally can't finish a big breakfast but came very close to finishing this one since it was so tasty. I got the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs. Eggs were cooked a perfect Over Easy and the Chicken Fried Steak was also very tasty. I requested an Ice Coffee since it was already 85 degrees at 8:30 am that morning which they did for me. The parking lot had a security monitor walking around and there were plenty of unhoused people milling around just outside the shopping center where Stack's Cafe is located so just pay attention of your surroundings. She also regularly brings us our check before we even finish our first plate, and doesnt do this with other patrons or people sitting. We recently came close to lunch time and quickly handed us our check which we figured that they might charge the difference or recharge us for lunch. However we were the only people in the dining room that she did not offer this upcharge or if we were staying for lunch. Just handed us our check and walked away. We enjoy the food, however, dont always feel welcomed if it makes sense.
