I had an inspection done this week and was told there was an outlet in my home not working. I requested quotes from five electrician companies with one being Ignite Electric. I included a photo of what seemed to be my issue according to the inspector to see if I could get an accurate quote (or close to it). All responded fairly quickly with average of $300 bids. Travis contacted me not to give me a quote, but from the picture alone advised me of probable issue and how to remedy it. He told me if it didn't work he'd gladly give me a quote and come out, but was so thoughtful to care more about saving me money if possible. He was right and I needed no electrical help at all. I wanted to install a new light fixture in my kitchen and decided to try Ignite Electric. The scheduler was very polite and professional. The electrician was on time for the appointment and I received a text beforehand to let me know he was on his way. I had a breaker burn up and damage a couple other breakers around it. While I am pretty handy and knowledgeable on electrical work, some things are better left to the professionals. My normal electrician does bigger jobs and he is tough to get on short notice. I had Ignite Electric out to review the work. The only option they would give me was a complete panel replacement claiming that the back plane was damaged. They made this diagnosis without a voltage meter or reviewing the main. Both reps that showed up looked like they were 20yo and one was admittedly "in training." Unfortunately, I think they lacked the knowledge and experience to do anything besides a complete replacement. Panels come in a variety of specifications so it would be pointless to say what the price was without more details, but I can say that the price was ridiculously high for what they were providing (2-3X). Realizing I was a little high and dry, my normal electrician did carve out some time and came and fixed everything up for a few hundred and 30min of work. Ignite seems to have a lot of great reviews on front end electrical work and they could be absolutely great at those projects but I cannot recommend them for service/support type work. They were prompt and polite, which I appreciate from any contractor. read more

I contracted this company to replace my electric panels at a cost of 8350. The serviceman Brennan almost blew up my house because he decided to do it hot, bypassing SRP to come out and disconnect the power. Then didn't label the breaker boxes or show us how to even open the panel door. When they were suppose to give me another estimate to replace wiring which they measured for, they didn't have the courtesy to get back to us, instead when I called 2 weeks later I was informed they would no longer do business with me. Labeling the breakers was suppose to be part of the service which they never did. read more

I had 2 programable switches inside my house that controlled the outside lites on garage and on front porch. Both were powered by battery. One was no longer working.
