He is personable, considerate, thoughtful, and takes time to truly listen. He reminded me of "back in the day" doctors who would sit down with you in their office, have real conversations, and make you feel understood instead of rushed. During my visit, he took me into his office and talked with me, asking not just about medical concerns, but also how life was going and whether I had any concerns about myself overall. In that moment, I opened up about my 31-year-old son and his struggle with alcohol. He responded with genuine concern and compassion, and later I noticed he even noted it in my visit notes. That meant a lot to me because it showed that he pays attention and truly cares about the whole person, not just the symptoms. I have truly never experienced a doctor like him before. Someone with his level of experience, compassion, and old-school bedside manner is extremely rare today. I highly recommend Dr. Ellington to anyone looking for a doctor who is both highly skilled and genuinely caring.

On May 6, 2026 I received an statement for $25.00 I called the Women's care asking the reason of the charge. They said it was for OFFICE VISIT and that Medicare did not covered office visit. My appointment was not scheduled for office visit so I contacted Medicare and they said that Women's Care used the wrong code (99397) and that they need to provide the correct code for Medicare to make the payment. I called back Women's Care and spoke with Carol who confirmed that Women's Care uses that code and that I signed a paper work where I am responsible for the remaining balance. I agree with that, but I do not agree with the Women's Care using the wrong code and Women's Care needs to contact Medicare to request the correct code to get the payment. It seems that Women's Care does not care about processing the correct codes to charge the Insurance companies and whatever the Insurance rejects, then, the easiest way for Women's Care is to argue with the patient instead of fixing the mistake they have made. It is only $25.00 dollars, but the principal is they have done something wrong and they refused to correct it, causing a person on Social Security to pay the $25.00

Spent a good 10 minutes on the phone discussing the nature of why I needed an appointment. Was told the earliest appointment was a month out. Went in for appointment today. I didn't realize that PCP was the one who would be discussing birth control and other post natal issues. After that the next excuse I was given was that the doctor really just deals with menopausal women. So why wasn't I told this when I made my appointment. I asked to see another practitioner who could handle my issues but I was told I would need to make another appointment. Ugh.
