The office is clean and welcoming and the check in process was fast. Dr Booker was very nice and informative and made me feel super comfortable. The nurse that assisted him was very warm and even tied my gown after he was done doing my breast exam so i didn't remain exposed. On May 6, 2026 I received an statement for $25.00 I called the Women's care asking the reason of the charge. They said it was for OFFICE VISIT and that Medicare did not covered office visit. My appointment was not scheduled for office visit so I contacted Medicare and they said that Women's Care used the wrong code (99397) and that they need to provide the correct code for Medicare to make the payment. I called back Women's Care and spoke with Carol who confirmed that Women's Care uses that code and that I signed a paper work where I am responsible for the remaining balance. I agree with that, but I do not agree with the Women's Care using the wrong code and Women's Care needs to contact Medicare to request the correct code to get the payment. It seems that Women's Care does not care about processing the correct codes to charge the Insurance companies and whatever the Insurance rejects, then, the easiest way for Women's Care is to argue with the patient instead of fixing the mistake they have made. It is only $25.00 dollars, but the principal is they have done something wrong and they refused to correct it, causing a person on Social Security to pay the $25.00

However, when I immediately started having severe pain, cramping, nausea, my hair falling out in fistfulls, etc. I called to reschedule my checkup appointment and have it removed. They couldn't get me in for two months! I called again shortly after telling them there was no way I could wait that long, that I was miserable and that I was concerned for my health. Scheduling put me in touch with Dr. Hernandez's staff who told me they were booked solid but would see if they could move things around. They never even bothered to call me back. Instead, I went elsewhere and had it removed within 24 hours. All of my symptoms went away within 12 hours of removal. I wouldn't entrust this office with the care of a houseplant let alone my health or the health of my unborn baby. This is not healthcare.

Went for a "pregnancy confirmation" visit and they had no way to confirm pregancy. Had me pee in a…read morecup and only told me in the middle of the visit (after i inquired) that they have to send the urine to another clinic to verify pregnancy, which would take days. They later drew my blood and they hand wrote my name on the blood viles, there is no computer generated sticker to place on the viles. I was also not asked to verify the name or spelling on the viles. When I asked the nurse how they were going to confirm pregnancy she told me at the ultrasound in a few weeks. If that is the case why did they have me pee in a cup. I fully believe they are going to bill me for a urine confrimation, even though they have not provided me with one. This is a very unsophisticated clinic. This clinic is now under adventHealth.
