On May 6, 2026 I received an statement for $25.00 I called the Women's care asking the reason of the charge. They said it was for OFFICE VISIT and that Medicare did not covered office visit. My appointment was not scheduled for office visit so I contacted Medicare and they said that Women's Care used the wrong code (99397) and that they need to provide the correct code for Medicare to make the payment. I called back Women's Care and spoke with Carol who confirmed that Women's Care uses that code and that I signed a paper work where I am responsible for the remaining balance. I agree with that, but I do not agree with the Women's Care using the wrong code and Women's Care needs to contact Medicare to request the correct code to get the payment. It seems that Women's Care does not care about processing the correct codes to charge the Insurance companies and whatever the Insurance rejects, then, the easiest way for Women's Care is to argue with the patient instead of fixing the mistake they have made. It is only $25.00 dollars, but the principal is they have done something wrong and they refused to correct it, causing a person on Social Security to pay the $25.00

A friend of mine recommended Dr. Valverde and Dr. Langonstroer and I am so glad that she did because I love them both. First, my experience with the office staff has been very positive overall. They always answered the phone and rarely kept me waiting. They always remember my name and ask about my baby. The nurses are fantastic. Poor Judy had to calm my OCD pregnant self down so many times. God Bless her. She always called me back and never made me feel bad for calling. Stacy and the other nurses are also great. They take good care of you and always ask you are feeling. Now, they ask how the baby is doing and to see pictures. They always were quick with processing Rx refill requests. The nurse who takes blood is good too. She knows what she is doing unlike some of those stab happy people at Quest. Dr. Valverde and Dr. Langonstroer were awesome throughout my pregnancy. They are both so chill and made me feel very comfortable. I was a very nervous pregnant lady. When I had issues after hours/on the weekend which happened 2x during my pregnancy and once immediately after they called me back and calmed me down within 20 minutes. I really felt like my baby and I were in good hands with them. I always felt better after talking to them or going to see them. The third doctor, Dr. Vasquez was pregnant at the same time as me so I only saw her once at the beginning of my pregnancy and once in the hospital so I can't say much about her. I really like that there are only 3 doctors though so you know it will be one of the 3 delivering your baby. I also like that they are all women. I will continue to use this practice for my general gyn care, and would definitely use them if I have another baby. I highly recommend them.

I waited two weeks had to make a police report do to her keeping my identification . wow miserable experience for someone with ovarian cysts present and referred for surgery to this lame UN professional office. Another tip that lady Rhonda over in Davenport office is just the rudest little bug a boo ever . Rhonda called out her way to have the tech. For ultrasound not to service my appointment my vehicle broke down that day and the tech was available and willing to see me for imaging but that Rhonda deliberately called winter haven office to cancel me after all that its co void people its hard to get services and scary. Went for a "pregnancy confirmation" visit and they had no way to confirm pregancy. Had me pee in a…read morecup and only told me in the middle of the visit (after i inquired) that they have to send the urine to another clinic to verify pregnancy, which would take days. They later drew my blood and they hand wrote my name on the blood viles, there is no computer generated sticker to place on the viles. I was also not asked to verify the name or spelling on the viles. When I asked the nurse how they were going to confirm pregnancy she told me at the ultrasound in a few weeks. If that is the case why did they have me pee in a cup. I fully believe they are going to bill me for a urine confrimation, even though they have not provided me with one. This is a very unsophisticated clinic. This clinic is now under adventHealth.
