RJ, Your response misrepresents the situation. At no point did I ever say I would "call later" to arrange the cleaning. Each time I contacted your office, I was specifically told someone would call me back to schedule the cleaning. On multiple occasions, I was told it would be within a couple of weeks. I trusted your staff's word and waited, only to never receive a single return call. After months of patience and repeated follow-ups on my part, I finally called again in August--not out of hostility but out of frustration at being ignored. Being constantly told "someone will call you back" (as you also stated in August) and never receiving that call is exactly why I became so upset. Instead of accountability, I was met with dismissiveness and told it "might be best if we don't do this." If you are willing to wait endlessly for service or be given the runaround, this might be the place for you. read more

I am very pleased with my choice of contractor. Igloo installed a 30K BTU Daikin split AC for me. To me, I like to work with someone I can trust. RJ and his team have earned a customer for life with me, and here's why: Sometimes things don't go perfectly for whatever reason, this is true with all trades and companies. A company that is willing to address a customer's concerns and make things right after the initial sale is important. You want to know you can trust them to do it right. I had some issues with drainage after the initial install. I contacted RJ and he sent Bernie out. The problem was resolved to my satisfaction and now I know what kind of company Igloo is. Our Daikin unit was installed in 2021 recently it started blowing warm. Contacted Igloo AC and talked to RJ he said that their warranty is only good for 18 months and they were too busy to look at our unit. I asked about our warranty and he asked me if 'I' had registered it with Daikin, I told him no and then told him I thought I had a 12 year warranty, and that I was never told it had to be registered to get the warranty. He sent me a copy of the contract and one sentence states 'equipment warranty provided by Daikin is valid for 12 years' It DOESNT state that in order to get the 12 year warranty it must be registered. We were NEVER even told that we had to register it or how to register it. RJ instead informed us that there is a sentence in the contract that states: It is the customer's responsibility to register the warranty with Daikin within 60 day' (Notice it doesn't state: In order to get the 12 year warranty) Another company came to look at our ac. They told us our connection was loose, tightened it added refrigerant and 7 days later was blowing warm again. Eventually I contacted Cosco AC ( who was also shocked that Igloo ac didn't register our Daikin for us) for recommendations and they referred me to Jimmys AC. They were able to locate the leak and repair our ac. Fortunately the part was covered under the basic warranty of 5 years. Even they were shocked that I didn't I have the 12 year warranty and said that when they install any Daikin unit they always register it for the customer, because it only takes a few minutes. After all customers like us chose Daikin over Mitsubishi mainly because of the 12 year warranty. RJ even told us the 12 year warranty is why you should buy Daikin. For this reason we will look for another company when we have to replace our other ac unit. Someone who doesn't mind spending a few minutes to make sure the customer is happy. read more

I had a very good experience with Igloo on a split AC project.  My HOA required some extra effort and Igloo went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.  Now that I've spent some time with the new system I can say that there really is a huge difference compared to a window AC.  The split system is almost completely silent, I'm much more comfortable throughout the day, and I sleep better too. R.J, the owner explained everything local style and with ease about how they will install the air-conditioning in accordance to code and our home. The workers came to our home and installed the air-conditioning, thoroughly cleaned up after and made sure everything was working properly. The electrician even stayed until late in the evening checking everything. We are doing, what seemed to us, as a complicated project with a lot of unique requirements and RJ was always responsive and patient with our countless questions. A lot of other installers were not anywhere near as responsive to our questions and were vague about pricing. Had 4 units installed back in February. Incredible job very clean and the lines are hidden below into the crawl space minimizing what is seen outside. Just had an issue with my bedroom units not cooling recently. Was a little worried calling RJ 10 months after the install to see if they could fix it. Forgot were under a 18 month warranty we get with his a/c installs. Amazing. Within a week RJ got someone out here, fixed the issue, and made sure the units were back to 100%. You see a bunch of installers install a/c and provide little to no after sale support. To see the fix and work come through and exceed expectations ? Amazing. I hired Igloo AC to install a Daikin mini split for me and I'm very pleased with their work. They perform both the electrical and HVAC sides of installation, which is important as it reduces confusion between overlapping trades during construction (not uncommon in my experience.) It's important to note that RJ (the owner of the company) was directly involved every step of the way. He was the person I interacted with when setting up the job (ie: exchanging emails, phone calls, and figuring out pricing.) Then, he was foreman on the job during the actual installation. And lastly, he performed the most critical portion of the job himself. If you've ever hired a company for work of any kind in your life, you'll appreciate how much better this style of business is than the alternative, where you have to relay a bunch of different messages to different people for anything to get done. It was clear that RJ cares about the quality of the work produced by his company. Entire Igloo AC staff was trustworthy, professional, and courteous. Bernie, who was serving as the main electrician on my particular job, went out of his way on several occasions to be especially helpful and considerate; enough to warrant mentioning. After an initial delay or miscommunication with Igloo at the start of the product , they came through with 5 star service and quality. My project wasn't the easiest as they had to access the very hot and small attic for installation. The product is quiet and efficient. To top it off, it looks great too! I had several window AC's that were wearing out so I shopped around to several companies for split units. RJ and his team provided quotes for several different combinations and were completely unflustered when I asked about mixing and matching to get ultimate energy efficiency with very different sized units. They are preferred installers for most major brands so that means the warranties are the maximum available to the homeowner for all of their installations. I ended up going with 6 units for our bedrooms and our main living/dining room, with one large Daikin unit and 5 small Panasonic units. I can cool the entire house or just a part. And energy expenses are essentially the same as our old window units which only cooled the bedrooms. Now going on 9 months, they remain an excellent upgrade to our home. I have had no issues with any of the units. Our experience with the installation was really great. The team showed up when they were scheduled, they did the work effectively and professionally. They completely cleaned up after themselves and they did not disturb anything that they did not need to, and restored anything that they moved. I was very happy with the electrician and our long-time, usual electrician noted that the work was very well done. I had obtained several other quotes and AJ's price was extremely competitive. RJ and Richard were very easy to work with and were very much under the next highest bid for my warehouse renovation. You will be very lucky to get them to do your A/C installation. It took only one day for me to leave a message as I was interested in having a bid for my renovation, RJ to call back and get address and Richard to come and inspect the property to make an estimate bid. Shortly thereafter, about 3 days, their bid came in. I accepted and work began about little over a week later. This never happens with A/C companies!!! Some never returned my calls, some returned them one week later, some returned calls but never came to estimate, some took a week or two to give an estimate and all the estimates were very high. Extremely disappointed with service issues. I've called several times over the past 7 months to try to schedule a repair and service. Never received a return phone call. Finally scheduled a service with another company. The other company came out to perform the service. They opened up the unit, took a look inside and showed me the issues I had were actually an installation error. I called Igloo AC again (at least three more times) before finally speaking with the owner, RJ. He explained they needed to hire a new technician. He promised he would call me back to schedule the service as soon as they hired someone new. It's been 6 months...and no return phone call. Richard, the owners father is kind, thorough and did come out to repair the installation error. However, RJ the owner does not return phone calls. He always seems to have some sort of reason why they are unable to help in a timely manner, not enough technicians, busy, etc. As a small business owner myself, I find this business unexceptional and am disappointed I chose them for the installation of our split acc's. We needed 2 split air units in a very inconvenient space in our back bedrooms. Igloo did an amazing job in finding a way to install the Daikins that we have been very happy with. They did a fast and good job and were able to connect up to our solar panel power boxes. Because of the intense heat in our unventilated attic, we have had a problem with condensation. When we discovered it, Arjuna came out the same day I called in order to see what the issue was, and came the very next day to fix it. I was impressed with his responsiveness.
