The emails even included quotes and links to submit for rebates and discounts. The crew arrived right on time and were open to all our questions. They offered ideas and said they would take a good look at all our concerns. They were informative the entire servicing and often invited me to come see or show me items. They even took photos for me during the work and texted me to have for future reference. They also did not try to upsell or just tell me to buy more or get more service, but gave me real options. They were upfront and honest, but still friendly and considerate. Very respectful of spaces, quality work, and left me happy to leave this review.

Just had our bedroom split AC unit serviced for the first time since we bought it about 5 years ago…read more(oops). It was feeling not quite as cold and the fan seemed like it was working a little harder, so I wanted to get it cleaned before the hot summer months hit! I *hate* making phone calls, but the receptionist was SUPER nice, so that immediately put me at ease. Their quote was flat rate and very reasonable so I was happy I wouldn't be guessing how much it would come to at the end. She apologized for not being able to get me in the week I called but was able to fit me in the next week - which was faster than I had expected! The technician came at the quoted time and took about an hour, which is how long they had told me on the phone. It says something about other companies on island that this is a noteworthy comment! He was very friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. He showed me the visible spots he had cleaned, but the best thing is now our AC is back to being icy cold - I had to bump it up to make it warmer! - and it smells nice and clean. I paid in cash (there is a fee if you use card. You can also write a check if you prefer). We will definitely be happy to use this company again in the future!

Out of all the yelp and google reviews this one stood out to me. I inquired to get a quote and received a call same day to go over pricing. The call was the perfect balance of inquiry, salesman ship but most importantly true aloha spirit. I got other quotes all similar in pricing but didn't have the same experience I did with my initial quote call. Because of the customer experience I chose this company. I reached out to inquire about scheduling an install and the hard part was done for me, this company truly made the whole process seem less. They removed my old system and quickly installed my new one all in the same day. We had gone without the AC for a few months and it was so nice to finally be cooling off the house. The old unit was struggling to keep the room cool, even on a cooler day -- and heading into the hot days of summer, it was urgent to get a replacement as soon as possible. Chayden from Kung Fu Air Service confirmed for me that the old system was leaking coolant and that it would not make sense to continue to service it. Once I decided to install a new system, I really appreciated that they were able to perform the installation within just a few days. Chayden wanted to make sure I would get the new unit installed as fast as possible, and arranged to come super early on the morning of the installation, to accommodate an appointment I had later that afternoon. Chayden and his associate were very courteous and professional, and I really appreciated their energy and hustle, and can-do attitude. Setting all the unit up took probably 5-6 hours by 4-5 workers, everyone is very friendly and professional. The Fujitsu AC units are nice looking not too big it fit in my living room and other 3 bedrooms nicely. They made sure everything run fine and also cleaned after the construction very well. Each time I contacted your office, I was specifically told someone would call me back to schedule the cleaning. On multiple occasions, I was told it would be within a couple of weeks. I trusted your staff's word and waited, only to never receive a single return call. After months of patience and repeated follow-ups on my part, I finally called again in August--not out of hostility but out of frustration at being ignored. Being constantly told "someone will call you back" (as you also stated in August) and never receiving that call is exactly why I became so upset. Instead of accountability, I was met with dismissiveness and told it "might be best if we don't do this." If you are willing to wait endlessly for service or be given the runaround, this might be the place for you.

After calling C S Mechanical, Reid sent Brian over in about one hour! So helpful! He quickly diagnosed a possible leak in the A/C line so we decided to get a new Mitsubishi unit to replace our old Fujitsu. After ordering a replacement, JayR came within 2 days to remove our old unit, mount and install our new unit, and explained how to operate and maintain our new system. We are now enjoying the comfort of a cool night's sleep! Yay! So impressed with their dedication and hard work!
