My review has more to do with this YELP page than the folks at IGlasses. I never actually got there. I checked out the Yelp info and reviews, which looked very good and promising. I was looking for a specific lens brand, ZEISS, to fill my new eyewear prescription. I called and was a bit surprised to hear "Thanks for calling My Eye Doctor!". Apparently the Yelp info has not been updated. I was placed on hold for approx. 10 minutes. The page states that they indeed do sell ZEISS lenses. I posed this question to the person who answered. I was placed on hold again for several minutes, after having to repeat and spell ZEISS. She had never heard of that brand. After my second wait, I was told that they do not use ZEISS. This business is open. Who ever said it was closed is wrong. They have the same name, same location, same hours but are now affiliated with my eye doctor which has measured to lower prices. After they took good care of my dad shortly before he died I promised I'd be back the next time needed glasses. A man of my word, just 8 months later (2 weeks ago) I went in for an exam, frames and glasses. I just had an incredible experience at iGlasses with Dr. Kellner and their staff. Very experienced and passionate group of people. I've never had such an thorough exam!! Thanks to Dr. Kellner, I got contacts that were fitted to my eyes and were actually comfortable to wear. When it came down to picking out my frame, the young lady there helped walk around and I ended up choosing an absolutely stunning pair thanks to her! I wanted to go boring, metal frame, but she suggested I take a photo and send it to a friend. Even with a selfie in hand, I knew what my right choice was. I loved the contacts & glasses I got here. I've never bad so much fun at an optometrist office! I would rate a zero star but the program will not let you. I returned 2 pair of glasses because the wrong prescription was used. I get emails about measuring my eyes in the frames etc. I said how can I do that when you have my glasses. After iglasses not understanding what I wanted it was a nightmare. I emailed and said just send my glasses back and never mind fixing them. I will do that some place where I live. Now it is total crickets.....they wont return my glasses {that I paid for already} and will not respond to emails or the chat option on their main page. I go to Contact by phone and the program boots me out. What do I do now???? Get a lawyer? Call vancouver police or the Better business bureau? I am pissed !!!!! read more

A friend of mine recommended iGlasses in Four Corners when I said I had had a bad experience somewhere else, but really needed an appointment to update my prescription. It was a great experience from start to finish. I literally get stopped on the street and people ask me about my new glasses! Complete strangers compliment them -- How amazing is that. I recently scratched my new lens and was devastated. I called Colleen to find out what a replacement right lens would cost me. She said she would call my insurance and get me the lowest price possible for the replacement and she was able to get the new lens for free through the insurance!! (That is AMAZING service - since I am basically unable to walk without them). David was even able to cut the new lens in shop so I had them the next morning. You guys rock! Below is my original review of iGlasses (and it was a ROTD) and all of it holds true still. First, Getting there. Super easy to find. Parking in the front can be a bit "hairy" but there is additional parking in the back and since they are located right by the cut through from the back. No issues (or excuses for not finding a spot). PRO TIP: Fill out all your medical paperwork online before your appointment. In case you run a few minutes late, you will still be able to keep your appointment since all the paperwork is done. The form is really easy to fill out and it is right on their website. You can also book your appointment right online (including Saturday appointments!) Second, Dr. Kellner is incredible. I have some issues with eye contact and staying focused. He made jokes to help me relax and was incredible patient with me. He really took care of everything. Also they use a new system to test for glaucoma that doesn't require the drops to dilate your eyes. Third, great selection of frames in a variety of price points. Since my prescription change this visit, I decided to use my insurance (and they take most of them) to buy a pair of "fashion forward" frames that are more fun than my black work glasses. I told Heidy what I was looking for and she pulled about 12 frames to get me started and when I didn't like any of them, she pulled even more - including a few pairs that were in the back in inventory, but not on the floor. I absolutely love my new frames! Depending on your insurance and the prescription, they may might be able to make your lenses in house so you might only need to wait a few days to pick up your new glasses. From start to finish a true 4.5 star experience. The receptionist ( a guy... I believe his name was Christian...) when I called up was so friendly on the phone. I felt like I was talking to a best friend. He helped me settle all of my insurance issues and walked me through the whole process. Encouraging me to call back if I had any more questions. When I went into the store, I met the young man. Also very very friendly in person. The Doctor here, Doctor Kelner is such a trip. He is SO funny. And old man who loves what he does. And he's sharp as a tack. He started off by telling me that we were gonna spend some time together and make sure we got things right. I did tell him the horror story of my "America's Best" experience where they gave me the wrong Base Curve for my contacts and it felt like they were sucking on my eye the entire time, and we couldn't figure out what was wrong. He spent the most time an optometrist has ever spent with me. I didn't even budget that much time in my schedule! But it was good, he was thorough. He cracked jokes, he tested different contacts , he was just very considerate. I cant say that it was a completely perfect experience. Dr. Kelner wanted me to try a new brand of contacts. I should have stuck firm on keeping to Accuvue as other contacts have upset my eyes. But he says that his whole family wears this type of contact and he pulled out statistics about oxygen permeation and other contact facts. The contacts he gave me ended up bugging my eyes. So I had to go back and I'm back to my Accuvue. Never again will I try another contact. It's just not worth it. The customer service when I went back, Heidi, was also fantabulous. I don't know where they get their employees from, but they need to keep on doing what they're doing. Everybody seems to love working in the store and are super friendly and accommodating. Also, Dr. Kelner came out and talked to me and ensured that I had a trial contacts that worked for the time being as I ordered my Accuvue contacts. Another round of amazing service from Dr. Kelner. He really cared about me getting the right contact. He's just top notch. I found this place on Yelp through it's glowing reviews. I had an absolutely awesome experience at iGlasses!! Everyone was super friendly. I was greeted by a woman with the most fabulous style and personality. She introduced herself and almost immediately went to work helping me find the perfect frames. Judy made trying on glasses so much fun! She has a great personality and an amazing eye - she can intuitively pick frames that you wouldn't think you'd like. {My advice: LISTEN TO HER AND TRY THEM ON!!} I can't say enough good things about Judith! She even sang a few songs to my little one to keep him entertained while I tried on glasses! Dr. Kellner performed my eye exam and was also great. One of the things I appreciate about my visit to iGlasses is that the lenses are made in house! I didn't expect to have my glasses ready in under an hour so that was a lovely surprise and bonus! This is gonna be lengthy, so get a cup of tea and settle in or just skip to the bottom... My experience with iGlasses started off really positively but ended in flames. I met owners Judy and David in a nearby restaurant after Judy commented on my unique red frames. I had been looking to purchase a new pair of glasses and saw this chance meeting as a sign...I went in a couple of weeks later to look at frames. I met Colleen, who helps manage the shop, and who was wonderful, on my first visit, and over the course of a handful of visits to the store I purchased a new pair of cool navy frames and lenses and dropped off two of my own frames (a black pair and those beloved red ones upon which owner Judy had commented in the restaurant) to have new lenses made for them. The black ones turned out fine (although the lab made the prescription wrong and it took an extra week to have them made right), but my awesome/amazing/special red frames were broken at the lab. Colleen was the one who ended up sharing this awful news with me and I was heartbroken (my red frames are irreplaceable; they were part of a run of 100 frames and cannot be purchased again). I say I was heartbroken - I didn't get angry, or demanding, or belligerent. Colleen shared with me that owner David was making attempts to repair the frames and I patiently awaited the outcome. I know he contacted the shop at which they were purchased. I know he sent the frames to two different places to be mended. The final mend was something iGlasses paid for. I recognize that steps were taken. When I went to pick up my mended frames I instantaneously saw the break and the sloppy mend. My heart dropped again. Add to that that once again, the lab had gotten my prescription wrong. (I want to *strongly* suggest they not use this lab any longer). David, Judy, and Colleen were all out that day, so I waited until that Monday and called David to talk about a replacement set of frames from the shop. THIS is where everything really went to sh&t. David was rude, nasty, condescending, and completely unprofessional with me. He interrupted me over and over again, not allowing me to finish a sentence to say what I hoped we could work out. During the course of two phone calls he offered me any pair of frames in the shop, rescinded the offer, offered it again, and then rescinded it again. He said things like, "This is why I don't do business in Potomac anymore", "I don't need your money and don't want you as a customer", "We are not responsible for anything that happens to your frame", and, "What do you want from me? It's just piece of plastic...get over it". After ending the first shockingly abusive conversation with what I thought was a (grudgingly made) plan for me to come to the shop to choose new frames, my phone rang again minutes later and I heard David say, "On second thought, just come pick up..." and I hung up. I just couldn't have the same conversation with him again. I called back later in the day, asked the young man on the phone for Judy, and found David on the line instead. He told me that he is the owner and I wasn't going to go around him to to get something different from Judy. That conversation didn't go any better than the first: back, forth, him being nasty, me trying to complete a sentence... So now it's about a week later. David mailed my red frames back to me (neither of us wanted me in the shop) along with a bill for the black pair. [If you're still with me, that makes one complete pair bought and paid for from iGlasses, one pair of my own frames now with new lenses in them, and one pair of my own frames, now broken/sloppily repaired and with the wrong prescription in them, neither of those two paid for.] I figure the pair of correct lenses is going to have to suffice as the trade-off for my broken frames and I don't plan to pay that bill. Here's my bottom line: If your entire transaction goes well and there are no glitches, you will probably find that iGlasses has a pretty decent array of offbeat frames, a great store manager (Colleen), some smart and efficient staff (and some dimwits...), and husband & wife owners, both with very strong personalities. However, should something go awry, expect that at least one of those strong personalities is going to unload on you if you convey your unhappiness or displeasure. Had David handled himself more professionally (and, frankly, more kindly), we would likely have worked something out and we'd all be happy. But David's a cretin and incredibly churlish, so now none of us are happy. I fully expect that Judy will respond to this review because I see that she has responded to all of their negative reviews. I can't recommend that you go to iGlasses simply because something could easily go wrong and if it does, you'll end up very unhappy. If unique, offbeat frames are what you're looking for, try checking out SEE in Georgetown, Moda Optical in Rockville, or Visions in Frederick instead. That's what I'm doing. read more

My review was not scathing or mean. It was very fair and meant as warning to others, not to patronize a business, I felt behaved in an unprofessional manner. I learned a very valuable lesson as well. To do my research before patronizing a new business and to try to avoid emergencies. Plus, the next eyewear place I visited had a better selection of merchandise, their co-payments were significantly less and the employees more helpful and hardworking. You might want to advise your employees to give more explicit directions over the telephone and to have a sign out front which makes finding your business easier. Evidently, I am not the only person displeased with your business as several former and current customers indicated that the lack of professionalism and organization was a real problem. They plan to complain to the insurer instead of yelp! My review was not a complaint, but constructive criticism, that I hope you utilize. read more

We travel the country in a RV full time. Recently my lenses got scratched and were in Maryland! What do I do? I found iGlasses on yelp, saw in the reviews they can replace lenses in 24 hours. It took longer for me to transfer my prescription from CA to here. Once they got it, I called in and spoke to Judy. She said she got the prescription and will have everything ready for me upon arrival. The next day I went in. We had a prescription mixup (causes by the CA office) but once Judy heard my name at the front desk, she came up with a little box that had the lenses already done! She took my frames and immediately had the lenses being cut to fit! It was amazing! Literally the best experience ever. As I waited they offered me a free Starbucks. Thank you! When I got back, I went ahead and got a new pair of frames and lens. All in all, I had new lenses and a new frame set done in a hour and half. I will forever use iGlasses as we continue to travel. I was so pleased with my experience at iGlasses! To start, they're open on Sunday. Then, they went out of their way to accommodate my insurance (VSP) while they are in the process of their approval instead of asking me to wait. The exam by Dr. Schwartz was thorough, and she did a great job explaining what was going on with my vision and why. When I had my Rx ready to go, Judy buzzed around the store pulling frame after frame until we found one that was fabulous. She has excellent taste! She did the same for my husband, even though he won't be purchasing his until a later date. You can tell that she and David have a genuine passion for what they do. Needless to say, I was already very impressed. When I learned they could put new lenses in to my old frame, I knew I was in a place that cared about their customers, not their margin. I've never had an office offer to do that-ever. And what really put them above and beyond was David's offer to make my new glasses (I went with new frames after all) on the spot so I wouldn't have to come back and get them! One cup of coffee and 15 minutes later I had my new glasses, and I left their shop happy and looking forward to going back when it's my husband's turn. read more

If I could rate the owners of the store a minus 5 stars, I would do it. David Pollack and his wife were the most condescending obnoxious people I can remember ever dealing with as a customer. I returned the glasses for a refund. Don't make the mistake of going back to the store with a problem. They immediately get defensive and do not allow you to even finish a sentence before they come back at you. Horrible experience. Stay away! Update: I just left Costco where I bought two very nice pairs of glasses---one regular with progressive lenses and one sunglasses with progressive lenses, including protective coatings. I paid 40 % more at I Glasses for a single pair of glasses than I did at Costco for two full sets of glasses. read more

The hardest part about moving to a new state is finding all new dentists, mechanics and hair stylists. I put off the new optometrist until I went to put my 2 year old glasses on about a week ago, and they broke. With my insurance card in one hand and mouse in the other, I found these guys on Yelp. They were very accommodating and got me in that morning. Dr. Schwartz did a through exam, set me up with a new prescription and Judy found great frames. They managed to fix my old frames so I could get by for a bit. A week later I had new glasses. And they gave me a copy of my prescription without asking. Usually the hour elcheapo eyes glasses don't work for me. I wear progressives and need some complicated correction as well. iGlass got it right the first time. They are definitely a family run business, but are obviously committed to quality products and service. I'm happy and will be back. read more

I tried this shop because of the Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed. I got my frames for free so I bought two pairs of glasses. One pair was excellent and the other pair was slightly askew in one eye. A quick trip back and the frames were adjusted for the contours of my face. Now both pairs are excellent! I was so happy that I purchased my first ever prescription sunglasses! The doctor was fantastic in explaining why I have floaters and when to be concerned! He recommended magnificent OTC drops and gave me my very own tissue - 2-ply! Special kudos to Heidi and Judy! Heidi scanned the walls and made recommendations based on my tastes and functionality! She has a good eye and listens. Judy is the master of twisting and fitting the frames! I'm eagerly awaiting my sunglasses, an impulse purchase and true bling! Frames that once sold for $279 were free; my only cost was the lenses! Where could I go wrong? read more

Since this location changed management, the service and selection seem to have deteriorated somewhat. They now literally stock no frame that will fit me. (I take 150 mm temples but don't have a large face.) In general it appears that the staff is still not completely comfortable with the policies and procedures of the new ownership. read more

Great little optical boutique in Silver Spring. Recently moved to the area so of course I yelped and found this little gem. When I called I was able to get an appointment the following week. My exam was by Dr. Kellner who was just a hoot. He has quite the sense of humor to say the least. The exam was quick but through (he found out the fit of my current contacts weren't the correct fit and corrected it). I was then helped in finding my perfect frames and lenses. The associate(sorry I did not catch your name!) carefully explained what my insurance would pay and calculated what the price would be after my insurance was applied. With her help and after trying on what I thought was their entire store (going from insurance covered frames to the more high end frames), I finally found the pair of frames for me (with a pricey tag of course). I used my 25% off allowed by my insurance but unfortunately was not able to use the check-in offer on Yelp in addition. But I loved the frames I picked so much I could not part with them to pick a more cost-friendly pair. Overall I greatly enjoyed my first experience here. The staff/employees are wonderful and very helpful. I would recommend my friends and family here. I obviously enjoyed my time here so much, I just could not wait to review it after I got my glasses. Great experience. Doc was very thorough. I felt I got a great exam that was easy and quick but covered all the bases. The eyeglass selection was really great. Be prepared to pay a little more but you are getting much better quality and style than at a big box or chain. They took my insurance for the exam and explained patiently any extra options (dilation) I could pay out of pocket for. I took one extra exam option and did not feel pushed to pay for anymore. I feel I made a very good informed choice with iGlasses. I knew all the options without feeling pressured to purchase them. I love this place! I made an appointment with their ophthalmologist for medical reasons, and wound up having a great experience with the store as a whole. Dr. Schwartz was very thorough, efficient, and friendly. Judy and David are very professional and welcoming- I even heard David offer coffee to another client who was waiting around since his eyes were dilated. After my appointment with Dr. Schwartz, they asked if I wanted to look at frames or put new lenses in my current ones. When I hesitated, they pulled up my insurance and showed me exactly what was covered at what prices. No pressure, no trying to sell me things and looking up prices at the end- they were very straight forward and gave me the information to make my own decision. And when I did decide to look at new frames, Judy was great! I've never shopped for glasses alone, but I felt like I had a best friend there, picking out frames and listening to my feedback and giving honest advice about how they looked. I was super happy with my experience this morning. Dr. Kellner was friendly, funny and explained everything fully. Cesar was very helpful in picking out a pair of frames. I had no idea where to even begin and he helped me choose a pair quickly. I've been wearing them since I left this morning and I'm very happy with them. I was looking for a trendy but comfortable eye glasses, as seeing such good review on yelp. I decided to visit Iglasses, the first time I visited this shop, an optician was very welcoming and friendly, she tried her best finding me a glasses and the Dr. Kellner went out his way for giving me recommendation of glasses. Unfortunately, after traveling back and forth to Iglasses for 6 times, it turned out their glasses doesn't fit me well, not to mention they gave me a wrong prescription even I mentioned the purpose of glasses in my eye exam appointment. It took 4 moths until they are willing to give me full refund. I would suggest them, if they have policy of giving store credit back only, they should let customers know in first place or at least go through this policy with new customers! read more

The doctor here is totally amazing. The owners, not so much. Not great to be told that all they care about is making money. Take your business elsewhere. I had visited the doctor to get a contacts prescription the previous calendar year but needed a refill on my contacts. Unfortunately, I learned from 1-800-CONTACTS that the brand that I loved was discontinued and that there was a newer version. So, I called the store to ask the doctor what my course of action should be. I expected that the doctor may ask me to come in for a brand new contacts fitting (which would've been fine), or perhaps this was just a matter of a new branding for the same contacts. I was told by the person who answered the phone that the owner is "refusing to answer any questions until I come in and pay the contacts fitting fee". While I would've been happy to come in for a fitting, I did not appreciate the money-making aspect of healthcare being flaunted in my face. I'll be going elsewhere. I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience at iGlasses. They were professional, courteous, clean, efficient and the BEST part: they really worked hard to get me a good deal. I can't stress this enough. They were extremely thorough with helping me to understand my insurance and everything it did and didn't cover, as well as setting me up with rebates to use. They gave me a much better deal for my prescription glasses, prescription sunglasses and contacts than I've ever gotten at any other store. I have been looking for a new eye doctor for a while now. We last used my MyEyeDr and did not like it. (See my review.) Everyone at iGlasses was super friendly and helpful. The Dr. was super nice and thorough and had a great sense of humor. (Something I appreciate in any human being). He also explained everything to me and answered all my questions. iGlasses also has a huge selection of cool glasses. At most eyeglass places I can usually only find one or two I like at all, but at iGlasses I found probably 15 great pairs and had a really hard time making a decision. I really wish I could have gotten a couple more pairs but my lenses are expensive so it would have been more than I felt I should spend. The experience was fun and I look forward to going again. And, their shop smells like coffee since they are right next door to Starbucks-- an extra perk for me since I love the smell of coffee. Cheers, Amy read more

We have been using Dr. Bruce Kellner for many years. He has now moved to iGlasses and in the past we have had no problems. This year the staff had our insurance information wrong (strange since it hasn't changed since last year). They said that they would speak to our insurance company even as I showed them a photocopy of the information from my employer about vision services. They did not call me back and I called them this morning and they still had the information wrong. I asked to speak to Dr. Kellner and they refused, instead transferring me to the owner, David Kapan. He immediately started yelling at me and told me to go elsewhere--I didn't even get a chance to tell him anything. We'll miss Dr. Kellner but obviously the office doesn't want our business--and we do not need to be screamed at. read more

My first experience there was spectacular and very consistent with the high Yelp reviews. Dr. Conner, who conducted my eye exam, has been an optometrist for 47 years and still loves what he does. He was extremely knowledgable, personable, and funny! The amount of customer support was just incredible. Three of their staff, including one of the owners, helped me choose and provide feedback on my frames simultaneously, which helped me feel valued and important, and the frames they selected were amazing! Their selection of frames was very large, the prices when factoring in insurance, were very reasonable, and the interaction and personalities of the staff a joy to experience. I love the selection of frames here. I have a strong prescription so I need small frames; iGlasses has a big child's selection that I was able to choose from. Best glasses ever. I like them so much I hardly wear my contacts anymore. Staff was very helpful. Came back for my contact lens exam and order. Allow me to describe my experience. I went to this doctor because I had extremely dry, itchy, and bloodshot eyes and had had them for several weeks. On the phone, I was told that I needed a "medical" exam and that it would be covered by insurance. That sounded good to me so I made the appointment. I came in and began filing out paperwork at the behest of the women behind the desk (I don't actually know what her name was). While I was filling out my paperwork, she answered a phone call and began being extremely rude to the person on the line. This person clearly did not speak very good English, because the woman began speaking to her in Spanglish in an increasingly loud and rude voice. Eventually, she was close to yelling. At this point, a man came from the backroom and she said, "CAN YOU TALK TO THIS PERSON?!" The man takes the phone and also begins speaking to the person in Spanish. Meanwhile, the woman begins muttering to herself (audibly -- she may have been speaking to me) something along the lines of, "How many times do I have to say it? If you're gonna live in this country, you should speak English..." Then the man from the backroom says to the person on the other end of the line: "Oh, you don't speak Spanish? What language do you speak?" I'm not sure what language the person did end up speaking but I don't think it really mattered for the intents of my review. I was just so appalled at the rudeness of the woman. Why would she assume that someone speaks Spanish just because they have a foreign accent? Their are thousands of different languages in the world, ma'am. Additionally, I can't think of any excuse for her excessive rudeness to this person, which was clearly due to that person's ethnicity. However, I still needed to see the doctor, so I went in to see Dr. Schwartz. This was the second part of my horrible experience (albeit not quite as bad as the lady who answered phones). Dr. Schwartz listens to my symptoms and tells me that she thinks I need a contact lens exam, not a medical exam, and that it would be $125. This was pricey for me, but I was desperate for help (my eyes have been horrible lately), so I agreed. As soon as I agreed, she immediately began telling me about how her lazy ex had failed to help her daughter out with an exam that was scheduled for the next day, so she had to leave as soon as possible. She called out to the secretary (the woman who was rude to the person on the phone) and says, "Is this my last patient of the day?!" The secretary: "No." The doctor: "Okay, well I have to leave and she needs a contact lens exam." (Presumably these take longer than medical exams). The secretary: "Well, she didn't tell me that!" (in very nasty tones). I was so appalled that they had this conversation right in front of me! It made me feel so unwelcome, and I was told by that same lady that I needed a medical exam. How was I supposed to know what kind of exam I needed? You guys are the eye experts. I just told you my symptoms and you put me down for a certain type of appointment. Geez. The rest of the exam was very uncomfortable. I may have been reading into it because I felt so unwelcome, but I felt as though Dr. Schwarz was impatient with me whenever I had a question. Also I am myopic (very near-sighted), and so when she had me without any vision aids it was hard for me to see while I was walking around and I felt like she was irritated with me when she was telling me to sit in a certain place, etc., and I was walking there slowly. I just felt SO rushed and felt as though she wanted me out so quickly. In the end, the contact lens examination was useless. She didn't change my prescription. She just looked at my eyes, checked pressure, etc., and told me I needed some special eyedrops. I'm not really sure why the contact lens examination was necessary (presumably the part where she saw that my eyes were bloodshot was actually a medical test), but I don't know about that. All I know is I paid $125 to sit there for an hour with 2 of the most unwelcoming people I have ever met. read more

There are many good businesses out there, but how can one tell a really GREAT business? For me, it is when the business goes above and beyond, and not only owns up to a mistake, but goes out of its way to make it RIGHT, which is exactly what iglasses did for me. My hubby and I scheduled our eye exam with Dr. Schwartz in the office, and could not have been more pleased with the results, especially after having a terrible prescription from a prior Dupont Circle eye doctor. Dr. Schwartz got my prescription right on to 20-20, and I have had no problems with her exam. She is very personable and fun as well. We decided to have new lenses put into our current frames, rather than purchasing a whole package, because we both liked our frames and they were rather high end, and we didn't want to lose them. So, we used their lens replacement, and David and Judy ordered our lenses for our new prescriptions. When they arrived, David took care of my husband's glasses, and there were no problems at all. However, David was not able to work on my 2 pairs (Ray Ban New Wayfarers and Chanel frames), and his assistant took over my work. Unfortunately, the assistant adjusted my Ray Bans incorrectly , and damaged the frame, which I did not notice at the time. When I discovered the situation, I brought my frames in and explained the damage that was done, and David and Judy offered to replace the temple arms, even though they do not stock or sell Ray Bans. As well, I showed them the lens in one of the eyes in my Chanel frames didn't seem to be sitting properly, and I just wanted to confirm that it was ok. David took a look at it, declared he was not happy with the quality of work, and offered to replace this lens as well---all at no cost to me. I was floored that this independent business was so worried about making me happy that they would not only order new temple arms for the Ray Bans, having to go out of their way to do it, but also wanted to replace a lens that didn't look perfect! In the end, they couldn't order just the arms, so instead ordered an entirely new Ray Ban frame and placed my new lenses in that, as well as replaced the lens in my Chanel frame that wasn't sitting properly (which I didn't even ask them to do, they offered!). So, based on how well they took care of me, at their own expense, I would not hesitate to recommend iglasses for anyone looking for new glasses, or to have lenses replaced. I will definitely be shopping with them again once I need another exam and for a new pair of glasses! Visit this lovely establishment and keep a GREAT business in operation! Terrible. This used to be a small, family-owned business that sold out to MyEyeDr. They are now a rip-off shop. The itinerant optometrist gave me a bogus prescription that I had to have re-done (one blessing: they failed to submit my exam to my insurance, so I was able to recoup on the re-do.) I suspect the sunglasses they sold me are counterfeit. Customer service was lackadaisical and sloppy. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I recently discovered iGlasses after my previous eye doctor was too far from my house, and I can't be happier. I went to them for a contact lens fitting, and everyone there was so nice and accommodating, and they made my first time trying contacts so easy. I was feeling nervous about it, but those who were helping me made me feel at ease and I was able to get them in after just an hour. The service is amazing and it is a great atmosphere with music always playing :) Highly recommend! read more

FANTASTIC customer service!! I've known the owners for about 8-10 years (they used to have a place in Cabin John Shopping center - David Opticians) and they are so accommodating and helpful. Dr. Schwartz is also very thorough with the eye exams. I've also seen their other doctor and he is also great. Also, it's best to call them for an appointment, but you can walk in and see if there is availability - cute little shop! Love love love their glasses selection. Can't get any better customer service than this place--went to MyEyeDr a couple of times--wasn't as pleased as I am at this place! It's worth your time and every penny.
