They don't have the skeeball or some of the larger games, and there isn't a prize counter but for the cost and location I much prefer The Arcade. He and I can play for $40 where D&B or Pete's is more like $50-100 if we're both playing.

The atmosphere was welcoming, friendly, and casual. The season had started but Lisa, the instructor, and the other students were very accommodating in helping us catch up to where the rest of the class was. Lisa is an excellent instructor too - lots of experience, great at explaining things, and very patient. All things we really needed haha. We were worried that we wouldn't be able to catch up, but it turned out to be okay! We had a lot of fun, both at the barre and even learning some choreography from a ballet we both recently saw. There were all levels of students, but each level seemed to be catered to just fine even though we were all mixed in together. Some exercises were adjusted for the different levels and we could do what was comfortable for us. I've taken other adult ballet classes that have been great too, but if you're looking for something doesn't require commitment, this is ideal. Most of all, you really can't beat the price. Recitals are an option (though we have decided not to perform haha), and there are other adult classes too. We're both really excited for our next class and also to check out some of those others soon!

There is no way a safety inspector would allow two tables and four chairs against back wall - golfer taking a full swing - the club comes within maybe four yards of people sitting. A total accident waiting to happen. The entire complex has seen better days. Seems like the only updates recently involve duct tape only.

My first impression was very positive because parking was super easy in the adjoining on-site lot that is plenty large enough for the size of the 3,504 seat hockey facility. It is an intimate venue as far as hockey arenas go, and it is absolutely perfect for what it is. There is a great pro shop with all kinds of authentic USA Hockey gear at all ranges of prices, I'd also say that they provide ample restroom facilities, and a decent sized vending station (though, if I had to throw any shade on an otherwise top-notch spectator-friendly facility, I would have to admit that the standard arena fare served up is decent, but certainly uninspired--yet, I had no expectation of enjoying a top-notch burger once inside an amateur team arena, so all's good here). The sight lines throughout the arena are generally unobstructed (with the exception, perhaps, of the end glass behind the goaltenders where there seemed to be more than the usual number of puck marks that blurred some of the ability to get a clean photo of the on-ice action). But the atmosphere is great and it should be--basically a facility dedicated to cheering on our men and women suiting up in the red, white and blue. Go USA!

There is minimal life guard engagement which allows children to dive off a high board while others are in the swim well. They also failed numerous safety criteria. They now have a long-term member in critical care due to code violations. Their staff actually ripped up an incident report, threw it in her son's face and said, after she suffered a broken hip, she was at fault for not "waiting" for them to finish it (which her son and witnesses actually did). This club is dangerous for your entire family, children to seniors, and is currently closed by the city due to their safety violations. I sincerely advise, should you care about your family's safety, you avoid this already closed club which has no spinal board for divers or other ADA compliant standards. This is a sincere note, written in the hopes of avoiding other life-ending or altering safety events. A member, rooted in this club since the 70's, is struggling for her life as a result of their neglect. Finally, an official Red Cross lifeguard and injury attorney witnessed numerous safety violations so this is much more than an angry post. If you love your family, avoid this hazard.

A friend gave a group of us tickets to the Hunting Shack Christmas play. Never been there before…read moreso did not know what to expect. When we arrived we noticed that there was not a lot of parking available. Maybe we just couldn't see further back behind the building but it didn't seem like there was going to be a lot of parking. We were kind of surprised that the theater was not completely full so not sure if just a lot of people drove in separate cars or what. We walked in and there was really no direction as to which way to go to enter the theater area. We finally asked somebody, who graciously directed us to the correct door. It was easy to find our seats and the seats were comfortable, even as slightly larger people. Not long after we arrived the play began. I had no idea what we were in for with this play but quickly found that it was lighthearted and funny. Just like any play or show, there were areas that I liked better and there were areas that I did not like as much. I really struggled with was the use of a shotgun in one of the scenes. Just two days prior a student at Oxford high school shot numerous classmates and staff, tragically killing 4 of the students. It was hard to laugh at the comedy that was associated with the scene knowing the horrific violence that just occurred two days prior less than 40 miles from us. As I write this review three days later, I still struggle with that scene in the play as my heart continues to ache for the young souls lost in Oxford.

Trust me, there is room. The theater itself is small with great acoustics. It is laid out very well so every seat feels like a front row seat. The quality of the acting is superb.
