A kids dream come true. Oat children wish to be a super hero at one point in their life and this experience allows them to feel as if they can actually fly... I surprised my son with this indoor skydiving experience abs although the fligh sessions are only a minute long he really enjoyed himself I paid around $110 for a 30 Min slot but he only flew two times and for about 45 seconds ( I times it). Supposed to be a minute. Wish they would have honored the minute. Every second counts especially when it's so expensive. You are give the option to get an additional minute of flight for $15... they will charge you for it so it would be nice that entire time is honored. They give you the option for a high flight boost for additional $15 which my son felt was worth it.. Also can add picture abs video for about $25 mote I believe. I paid foe both but in all honesty my pictures and videos came out just as nice. I say save that money or invest into more flight time The instructors were amazing and the facility was clean and plenty of hand sanitizer. The bathroom upstairs could have been a bit cleaner but for the most part the gang had a blast and truly enjoyed their experience. I do feel a bit short changed on the flight times for my entire party tho there was a large crowd and I feel that all the times were shortened so to it, which is not what I paid for. I give a 4 because my sons smile is priceless.
My family and I absolutely loved iFly! I highly recommend paying extra for the high flight. It was absolutely amazing to soar 20 feet in the air. The instructors were very friendly and provided training prior to starting the activity. I'm interested in going back and learning how to do more advanced movements within the flight room. Note: There is a weight limit to participate in this activity. Also, make sure you invite someone else who will not be participating in the activity with you to take candid videos and photos of you. Cost is expensive - I recommend buying a gift card from Costco, purchasing a Groupon, or buying a package during Black Friday. Also, if you are in the military they offer a discounted rate.
We loved it here! Courtney is an AMAZING instructor. She made my daughter and I feel super comfortable. She's upbeat and spunky. We flew twice. For our first time that was enough for me. The first time I felt like I was going to have an anxiety attack, but it was due to my glasses being in my eyes and choosing the helmet where you can feel all the wind. Courtney recommended that I switch my helmet out for the enclosed on. It was much better! I enjoyed going high. The key to flying is relaxing your body, keeping it straight, and remaining still. My toddler did amazing! The price includes your gear (helmet & suit). They also provided us with shoes since we had on sandals. I'm sure the other instructors are just as great, but we loved Courtney. Anyone age 3 and older can fly. I think the weight limit is 260, but I could be wrong. We will be back!
A fun activity. Fun pics! Fun place for the family, date-night, basically all ages. If you're ever in the area, stop by for a visit!
Me and our group (6 total) started off the day with Cameron and he was so great and patient. 4 of our group were very experienced and me and another gal were first timers. After about an hour and a half another instructor David joined us as the instructor and was very good with seeing I was still struggling with some movement skills. I had a good time regardless because I didn't feel pressured to be on any level at any point and the instructors were sure to make sure I was good when I messed up. I recommend although it is pricier but that's cause it's so cool.
This is such an exciting experience. Very exhilarating. The instructors are amazingly talented and skilled. I could sit and watch the proform their stunts all day. Watching them had me clapping my hands. It was that thrilling. Applaud, applaud, applaud. Then they instruct you and it is your turn. They are so skilled and in control of your fly that you feel great and they make sure you have a good time. What a great thrilling experience. They do have seating for family and friends to come watch the fly. I think it is just as exciting to watch. We watched my niece and nephew. Ages 10 and 14. Great because we saw them improving the more fly time they had. Then the instructors do some more stunts. It was just so amazing. I love it. It was like watching a stunt show
I really enjoyed flying. Checked an additional Bucket list item off by flying and definitely would do it again. They give you the option to upgrade your helmet for $5. This is almost a must. My instructor was great and enthusiastic. That's what made the experience even more enjoyable. When I first saw where we were flying I got a tad bit scared of heights. I rarely get scared of heights but quickly got over it trying to remember all the hand signals.
It's very fun, and not too hard to get the hang of, if you got the right instructor, my only problem was that I didn't realize we were paying for minutes, not times you go in the wind tube, like I went in the tube twice for a minute and a half, then 2 minutes, so I was confused at first but I understood. And they give discounts for second timers which you can use anywhere, like I went in the VA beach location, and I can hop back to Pittsburgh and use the discount and do it again.
It was a great experience for all ages. Our instructor, I believe his name was Chris but he was wearing a suit with the name Fred on it, was a great instructor. He was very patient, personable, and attentive. We had several kids in our party and everyone had a good time. It was worth the money. We would both recommend and return in the future.
Literally the best experience. I had anxiety going in at first the the trainer was so patient & understanding.
I had a really great time the instructors were awesome I would definitely recommend others to go!

5 stars for the staff there, they were amazing all around! The experience itself was a lot of fun, but could be very expensive for a short amount of time in the tube. Everything is an add-on...want to fly high? $15. Want some extra time in the tube, pay up. Other than that, the process is very smooth and it's a very well oiled machine. Search for vouchers online to bring the cost down, and then it's certainly worth it! read more

This is the first time ever for me to be in a (indoor skydiving) it was a rather strange experience in a good way. The staff were nice the establishment was pretty clean and looked high tech, there were many people in there instructing other divers on how to fly !!! The diving ring it pretty big and pretty long too so you literally can fly high but only one down side is the price. You only get one minute and that's not enough at all. read more

Fun! Fun! Fun! Our instructor, James was amazing! He was very patient with our group! Next time I would definitely do the high flight experience! I loved how pictures/ videos were able to be viewed right after our flight! We also parked in the 25th street parking garage & because we bought our ticket in-we received a free picture :-) read more

My daughter expressed an interest in skydiving and so she decided to give this place a go before taking the "real" leap out of a plane...She wasn't disappointed! I purchased the basic beginner package (2 flights) and based on previous reviewers added the "hi-fly" option for an additional $10. The "hi-fly" was far and away her favorite and well worth the extra dough. The facilities were clean, the instructors knowledgeable and the preflight training fun and informative. So if your looking for a fun time and a way to dip your proverbial toe into the pool that is skydiving..this place should be on your list. read more
Went to iFly as a surprise from a friend. It was SUCH a fun experience. The instructors briefly show you the ropes (it's not difficult to get the hang of it) and a couple hand signals in case you need some help or are feeling nervous. They suit you up in a jumpsuit, helmet and goggles and then you're ready to FLY! They take a group of about 5 or 6 out and you get to fly for about a minute and then the rotation starts again and you get another go. They do have a membership so the member have their own area to chill in. It's so fun watching the experienced flyers, they do tricks, they'll all go in together and have a good time. I love the location of iFly, it's right on the Ocean Front and super close to some of my favorite spots like Lunasea and Baja Cantina read more

My daughter celebrate her 11th birthday with 16 good friends, 2 got scared so i end up flying. Kind of scared but it was a good terminal velocity experience. We came back again to treat cousins to experience. My daughter flew 2 times in a row. Our instructor Nate was very nice, the kids loved him! read more

I've always wanted to try skydiving but fear has kept me from doing it. When I found iFLY I was excited to learn of a more controlled skydiving experience and I was ALL for it! The customer service from beginning to end was great. The staff answered all of our questions and made what on the outside looks very frightening a great experience. After a short video and short instruction by our instructor we were led to the wind tunnel. I volunteered to go first and I loved every minute of it. If you can please do the high flight on the second fly...it is so worth the experience! I can't wait to visit iFLY again! read more

I visited iFLY during an educator night and had a blast! First, we learned all about how iFLY can educate students in a number of different ways (and for ALL ages)! Then, they let the educators experience the wind tunnel. The program coordinator did a wonderful job setting up the event. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They were professional, energetic, and humorous..all making for a fantastic experience. We watched a video to prep for our flight, got our gear, and then, we flew! Although the experience is really short (1 minute of fly time), I still enjoyed it! It is pretty pricey. I like how they videotaped your entire flight and you have the option of purchasing it later (The pictures and video aren't expensive at all...whereas if you go real skydiving, it costs an arm and a leg to get it! The video has fun music too!) Some of the other teachers were able to fly high in the tunnel. I wish our group had the option to do the add on! Overall: 5 stars on the fun factor 5 stars on friendliness of the staff 5 stars on cleanliness of the facility 1 star for how much time you actually spend in the wind tunnel for the dollar amount you spend (Although our educator event was free, I don't think I can afford to come back) Again, if you are looking for the experience, it is worth it! read more
My mom got my daughter passes to iFly for her birthday. She got the passes from Costco for $40 compared to the normal price of $60. I thought that was a really good discount, and it made us much more willing to shell out for such a different type of experience. Parking on the street was easy to find, but there is also a garage around the side for $5. Don't park in the lot on 25th because you will get towed. The cost of entry will get you flight suit use, a 40 minute instructional class, then two 1-minute flights. For an extra $10 the instructor will fly you up to the top of the wind tunnel, which they both did and loved it. I thought the whole process was really great except for after it was over. My wife added the hi-fly $10 experience to the flight and was told to pay for it afterwards. No problem, but when it was over there was nobody who wanted to take our money. We actually had to track down a sales lady and convince her that we owed money. Trying to by a photo was a major hassle too. There were two self-help kiosks for the 10 people who just finished their flights (in other words not nearly enough). You are supposed to select the photos you want, then walk away from the kiosk to pay at the counter, then the counter lady will walk back over to the kiosk with you to finish the check out process. They need more of a stream-lined Busch Gardens style photo purchase system. In all it was really great, and I recommend buying the pass from Costco. read more
My wife decided to treat the family for a day of indoor flight and the kids loved it! Price: The 15% military discount made the prices a little easier to swallow but just like skydiving it can get expensive quick. That said this is a great choice to spend part of your day, especially if you've never done anything like this before. Service: The check in was quick and easy. All the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgable. Ray was great instructor, enjoyable to work worth and to the point in a humorous sort of way. He made our daughter feel comfortable and ready to go try skydiving, highly recommend Ray. Don't worry if you're not dressed for it as the staff will get you everything you need and the lockers allow you to lock up your stuff or just place it in them as they're clearly in view while you await your flight. Cleanliness: Clean facilities, suits and equipment. The bathrooms were spotless. Overall: I thought about giving it 4 Stars due to it being a little expensive and difficult for parking during tourist season...or at least until the construction outside the garage is finished. Still it's to good of time for everyone to pass up the 5 Star rating. read more

Came here on a date and we had a blast! You book your "flight" online on their website. There's different packages they offer. We did the "Spread your wings for two" which offers a total of 4 flights (each person flies two times) and two video clips of our session = $130 + tax. They take you upstairs where you witness all the action. They take you to this classroom where they teach you how to fly and land. After that you gear up and watch the employees demonstrate. Then off you fly! Everyone flies for about a minute long. It was so much fun watching the kids and old folks in our group killing it. Around the second round, the demonstrator joins hands with you and brings you up all the way to the ceiling it was crazy how high we were! When both of your sessions are done, they print out a certificate for completion on the tricks you did. Then you go downstairs where they give you the URL of your video on a ticket. And where you can purchase merchandise from the gift shop. read more

iFly is awesome! The (19 and 12 years old) boys loved it! We bought the "Spread Your Wings For Two" package. Upon arrival we noticed iFly offers a 15% Military discount and they credited my credit card the difference since I booked online. We also bought the $10 upgrade to Fly High, which YOU MUST DO TOO. It honestly made the whole experience worth it. iFly staff greeted us with a warm welcome, helped us through the waivers, answered questions the boys had, and walked us upstairs to the vertical wind tunnel, along the way pointed out the gift shop so we know exactly where to redeem our video vouchers of our flights. Upstairs, the boys went through video training, suited up, and took turns in the wind tunnel with the instructor. The boys smiles were HUGE! Oh and another reviewer is completely right about the drool. Both boys drooled all over themselves in the tunnel. Small price to pay for this kind of excitement. read more
