The space is intimate but thoughtful, and the curation feels fresh and intentional. Andrew (who worked there) was excellent -- welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the work on display. Definitely a nice surprise and well worth a stop if you're in the area.

I like that the front part has local artists on display and the exhibits change from time to time with regards to theme. In the back, there are more featured artists and workstations where they come from time to time and work. I met a few of them who were friendly and welcoming and happy to answer questions and discuss their art and inspirations. The volunteers working inside were super friendly and the art on display is almost all for sale. I saw several things I wanted to purchase and ended up leaving with a small pottery piece to start my collection. Prices are reasonable as well and I love supporting local art.

This was my second time making a project and this time I chose a less intricate and word-y design because those take forever to prep and paint and remove the stencil detail. I made a large, framed wood sign and did ombre paint which turned out beautiful! My friend and I were the only gals on Thursday night so we had a lot of help and guidance from the gal inside who was so awesome and friendly. We made small-talk with her, caught up with each other, and enjoyed picking our colors and options. It takes the entire time no matter how fast or easy you think your design is, so plan for 3 hours minimum, but it flies by while you work on your project. They have all sorts of wood crafts you can choose, trays (small or large), signs of all shapes and sizes, dog bed frames, blankets, ladder shelves, etc. etc. Summer camps for kids are also starting so check it out! Located central to the oceanfront, close to the interstate, and has private parking in the back in the lot behind the store!

I scheduled for Heather to come and do a painting party with my school age children for our summer…read morecamp. She couldn't have been more accommodating with our schedule. I asked for her to come on a Thursday and Friday morning, with about 15-20 kids per day. She booked us immediately with no fees at all. She charged us $20 per child for an 11X14 canvas. I am very satisfied and impressed with everything, from calling and booking, to choosing the design, to the very end result. The children had a wonderful time and we didn't have to do anything, she came early to set up and cleaned up. The only negative thing I would say about this would be the fact that she did have to change the original days from Thursday and Friday, to Wednesday and Thursday. This at first was an inconvenience to us but we managed to deal with it. Also, it was a challenge for us to get an exact head count the night before. Working with parents who like to wait until the last minute for sign up makes it hard for us to pin an exact number of children. Anyway, it didn't matter. I loved it. The children loved it. The price was very reasonable and Heather was very nice and professional. We will be booking her from now on every summer!

I found a mirror I liked and bought it and talked to the owner for a while about some styling they can do and some furniture for my upstairs hallway space. They can do custom things as far as curtains and upholstery and such.
