They didn't have a minimum which was great. I called and spoke with the owner Ms Kelly and she was very nice and answered all my questions. The chairs and tables were reasonably priced and they were clean. We got 1 9ft table and 12 chairs for $40. They also have bounce houses and other concessions available for rent. The transaction was smooth. I told her what i needed, she quoted me, and emailed me an invoice. We signed the contract and paid online also. I saw Futrell's Party Adventures' on facebook however I could not find a website so I contacted one of the owners Mrs. Futrell. After talking to her she explained they were just staring up although they had several years experience in the party planning business. Mrs. Futrell's professionalism and honesty was refreshing so I booked immediately over the phone. When I arrived in Virginia I must admit I was skeptical at first. But wow I was surprised!! Everything was absolutely amazing the kids had cotton candy, snow balls and popcorn. The creations I saw online were awesome but just a small snapshot of what he can really do. We hired him for my daughters birthday and the kids in her class had a LOT of special requests. I was so impressed by his ability to make every single idea. From mooses to Spider-Man, bulldozers, flying Superman hats, adorable Minnie Mouse ears complete with headbands, ponies, you name it, he did it. The special birthday hat he made for my daughter was so intricate! Was very hard working during the hour we booked him, we had 20 kids and they all got at least one. He was on time, polite and we will absolutely hire him again. He put a smile on our guests faces - very important when youre hosting a party. And it was as if their balloon toy was a "goody bag" item they got to take home.

During a nearly 30-minute phone call, I was repeatedly encouraged to cancel my GigSalad booking and book directly because I was told GigSalad charged extra fees. The representative also told me there was a larger community event on the same day but assured me they had enough staff to handle both events. Trusting those assurances, I canceled my GigSalad booking exactly as I was instructed and immediately texted all of the information they requested so my reservation could be started and I could pay the required deposit. Before I was ever given the opportunity to make that deposit, I was told someone else had already paid for the date. I have no way of knowing what happened behind the scenes, but from my perspective, it felt like I was persuaded to give up my booking on GigSalad only for the date to become unavailable immediately afterward. Had I been told there was any chance of losing the date before I could even pay the deposit, I never would have canceled my original booking. The timing and circumstances left me feeling misled, and I hope future customers are given a fair opportunity to secure their event before being asked to cancel an existing booking.
