It's off of Virginia Beach Blvd behind other shops, very easy to miss. It's a one story venue with a big area to hold all types of events. There's also a dance floor and bar area. Overall it's a good space

This is the second time we ( my wife and I ) have visited this establishment, the first for a wedding party and last night was a birthday dinner party. Each time was delightful and the building being well maintained. The structure is modern and up to date with all of the state of the arts equipment you may need to celebrate any function! I would recommend renting this place out, there's plenty of space to move around with plenty of parking out front as well as the back of the building.

We just finished celebrating Easter brunch/Dinner today on a Saturday. We are first timers with…read moreTraditions, but I must say our family was extremely impressed from start to finish! We ordered takeaway Easter brunch that needed to be pre-heated before serving. We had a choice of shrimp and grits or salmon but since we had a larger order we were able to do half and half and have the best of both worlds. Ordering and paying ahead before the deadline online was simple! If you have questions prior to ordering just call. We had certain requests and were informed over the phone it was feasible but to type it in under the special instructions box when ordering. Everything was delivered as ordered and promised! No issues at all! Once we arrived we just called and the gentleman came out promptly to our car with a cart and our Easter brunch neatly and carefully packaged in sturdy brown handled paper bags. The kind gentleman showed us the reheating instructions and explained to us briefly the timing. He took care to inform us which bag to keep horizontal so it would not spill. It was stapled shut and handed to us in the horizontal position as well. Hence to avoid confusion and prevent disastrous spillage. This was greatly appreciated! The food was neatly and carefully packaged with each aluminum sturdy container marked with its contents. Once again very smart and greatly appreciated! We just had to pop in the entire container in the oven. No fuss, no muss. Most items ranged from 10-12 minutes to re-heat some 15-20 minutes. The quality and quantity of food did not disappoint!! Pricing is definitely not cheap but the amount and quality of food is without a doubt worth every penny!! Even better was that none of us had to cook! Win win!! EVERYTHING was delicious! But the real stars were the grand marnier bread pudding, which not everyone can get bread pudding right, but this was heaven on earth for sure! The salmon was cooked perfectly. It was flavorful and a good size. The shrimp and andouille sausage shrimp and grits were hearty and delightful! Crab cakes with aioli.. slap me happy with seafood -very good! The food list goes on and on.. and I'm not complaining! The mushroom quiche with goat cheese was another big hit along with the breakfast foods of honey baked ham with pineapples and pecan and applewood bacon. We are soo full we haven't even tried the coconut pie! Thank you,Traditions, for helping to make our Easter a pleasant one with our bellies full and content. Feeling very blessed! Thank you, Jesus, and Amen!! P.S. Thank you Shawn Hoffman for calling us back to answer our questions!

My family hired Traditions to cater their business's company Christmas party at Chesapeake Golf…read moreClub that was last week. Everything was beautifully decorated. There were Christmas trees, Christmas lights strung, and the tables were gorgeous with green and red linens and white chinaware. Along the wall was a beautiful display of hors d'oeuves like artichoke and spinach dip with crackers and pita points, cheese, and fruit. The dip was delicious! They had coffee, lemonade, tea for drink. The servers gave out the salad. It was lovely display of greens with cucumber and tomato. On the table were the boats of ranch or Italian vinaigrette. This also was delicious. On the far back wall was where they had the buffet style dinner. They had roasted potatoes, rice pilaf, and asparagus for the sides. The potatoes and asparagus were perfectly seasoned and cooked. I didn't feel the same for the rice. It was completely tasteless and left me disappointed. The main entrees were roasted sirloin with horseradish sauce and a pepper crusted salmon with mango cilantro. The sirloin was not really hot and also not seasoned well enough. The sauce was delicious though. The salmon was picturesque. It looked like it was out of a cooking magazine, and I wanted to love this so much buuuut my salmon was just a tad undercooked. I want to make this clear: everyone I talked to enjoyed their meal. I had someone tell me their salmon was over cooked. I had another loved their roast. And another dislike it as much as I did. There was a complete mix of opinion when it came to their food. Maybe it was just the menu selection that was chosen. Anyway, this place was great! I'd definitely come back again. The servers were great, the decor was lovely. Come check them out!

Food I ordered a Caesar salad with a crab cake on top, a side of fries and a glass of Riesling. My team ordered various items, and from my POV, everyone was happy with what they selected. Service The server tending to our room was very nice and polite as he attempted to serve us while we were still having our meeting. He wasn't quiet and attentive to each persons order. Ambiance We had a 2024 Planning Meeting for work, and had lunch midway through. We had a private room, and were only interrupted for lunchtime. The room was spacious and bright over looking the marina.

I attended a friends wedding last month and what a shock at how big the back yard is to hold a very large wedding. They offered front yard parking and have their own "getting ready" house for the bridal party along with guest bathrooms instead of porter potties. I also saw the fenced in pool area which is great for those that were staying in the B&B part. There were plenty of tree coverage from the harsh sun without seeming like you're in the woods. This B&B is perfectly tucked away in Pungo far from the hustle and bustle of virginia beach for a quiet get away.

Not really sure how this place has a 5 star rating. This place is a joke. My brother recently got…read moremarried here to the most beautiful bride. The wedding was beautiful of course, despite the unfortunate weather conditions. Lots of heavy rain. There was a Pergola that had the tented covering but really did not have enough room, but we made the best of it. But I am warning you, DO NOT NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!! Honestly the wedding was beautiful, and even though it was unfortunate that we were pretty much stuck in the tent the whole night because of how bad the weather was AND you had to walk in the pouring rain and come back completely drenched (approx 200 ft away from the tent. Side note: Your guests will have just the one single men's and one single women's bathroom, outside. No access to inside the villa what so ever. And toilet paper will not be guaranteed the whole night, as NO ONE attended to the bathrooms) it was still a beautiful wedding. It's really not the wedding that's important, it's the marriage. But let's face it, if you're going to spend the money, you want it to be as perfect as you can make it. So back to the venue, the people that own/operate this place are horrendous. The host, "Ms Peti" was rude, condescending, and a two-faced liar!! She made so many promises to my brother and SIL and did not keep her end of the bargain. At the beginning, before signing the contract she was the sweetest little lady, but after the contracts were signed and deposits were in, she was a whole different person! That's when she brings up all the "rules" of their villa. Rules that were not mentioned when we viewed the venue. They were very strict about everything, cant decorate the way you want, can't use any kind of tape or nails anyway... the list goes on. Their wedding was on a Sunday and there was a wedding the night before, so the earliest we could decorate was at 9am the day of the 3pm wedding. So we were already crunched for time, with having to do everything (table/chair set up, decor, etc). It's bad enough that they will not help at all, "Peti" would hover over the set up crew and tell them, "don't do this", "don't do that", "my husbands getting pissed of that y'all are hanging things on that tree"..... keep in mind everyone was already on edge not knowing what the weather was going to rbe like the time of the ceremony, and that we really didn't have much time. Also, my SIL mentioned to "Peti" prior to the day of the wedding that she would like to keep the wedding cake in the main villa, as it is cooler in there than the bridal suite. Ms. Peti had no problem with it and gave her permission to do so. The day of the wedding, the most important day, the day the bride was already on the edge.... Ms. Peti goes back on her word and tells her she needs to just keep it in the bridal suite because she doesn't feel like opening the door to the villa and she had errands to run. "Errands to run"???? This was acting she was just doing them a favor "borrowing" the place, I think she forgot that they payed her $6000 to rent her property. So anyhow, the cake had to be stored in the bridal suite. The same place that the whole bridal party was getting ready. The same place where hair spray and other products were being sprayed everywhere!!!! A $400 cake! To top it off, approximately an hour before the wedding, Im guessing Ms. Peti came back from running her personal errands, she comes barging into the bridal suite yelling at everyone to stop opening and closing the door. She said we were letting all the cool air out and she didn't feel like hearing the bride complain about how hot it was in there. 1st of all, the bride was not complaining about it being hot, she simply wanted the cake to be stored in the main villa where it was cooler, like previously agreed upon. Also, BEWARE. This is strictly a venue. Over $6000 for just a VENUE, nothing is included besides the tables and chairs that you must take out of the shed and set up and put back on your own. No help from the owners what so ever they will not lift a finger or lend a hand at all. Also remember you are responsible for clean up and throwing away the trash at the end of the evening. If your dream wedding is a backyard wedding, book somewhere else, anywhere else!!!! There are plenty of other people with beautiful backyards that will treat you much kinder and appreciate your hard earned money more!!! BTW, I rarely leave bad reviews, I would just hate for anyone else to give this terrible woman any more of their hard earned money and to try and ruin one of the most special days in their lives.

I don't like that they tore down the detached Carriage House that was also on the property. The House is beautiful and unique with history. I am perennially disappointed with the golf course and I have been to only one function in the House since it was restored. The food was nothing remarkable and the service was even more non-descript. I don't know what they charge for functions there, but I thought that maybe they would have improved the surroundings a bit more to accommodate the status of the Obici House, the surrounding out buildings, clubhouse, 18th hole and driving range. It looks like they did the bare minimum to the house. I don't want to tarnish this review too much since I haven't been there for an official event within the last year. I noticed that they are having an open house soon and I plan to check it out and update my review. I would recommend that if the price seems to high for your event, then pass on Obici House until you start seeing better reviews on the service and food.
