I would definitely love to be invited back to an event here and would recommend to anyone looking to have a wedding in the Hampton roads area.

The decoration was beautiful! There was one door in the back that led to a private dressing room where the wedding party was able to change in. There are two separate bathrooms inside. I'm not completely sure how much of the decor, food (if at all), chairs and tables, etc were part of the rental of this venue but it was a beautiful wedding. Especially if you are using tables and chairs, please be mindful of your guests and their ability to move about the room without worry. The restrooms here were tidy and spacious. The parking lot is a bit small. I am unsure if the venue has overflow parking. The parking lot in front of the building will fill up fast. I am not sure if this place offers catering, but you are able to use your own caterer for your event. I believe if you are having a night event, you must clear the premises by 11 pm. Overall, for the time spent here, I enjoyed this venue. My only side eye is the limited parking. And if you are attending at night, be extra careful... the lighting outside is not good at all. You may have trouble finding this location at night due to the low lighting. But as you are approaching your turn slow down because you can easily miss the turn from the main street. I actually had no clue this venue existed in the city. I'm glad I was able to experience it and celebrate with friends. Have fun and enjoy life :)

You can rent this place and use it for a variety of reasons. A get together with family, work meetings, and even a dedicated recording room to do a podcast. On every level there are different aspects to fit your personal or business needs. On the top floor there is an open rooftop with a full kitchen that can be rented out. This place is very clean and there is digital entry but for events there is always someone at entry to let you in and guide you to whatever event you are there for. If having an event in the Norfolk area this place is a definite option to consider.

There was also a nice view of a garden and fountain from the balcony of our cottage and there was a hammock on the balcony as well. The breakfast was delicious and delivered right to our room. We had wonderful service from the house manager and didn't have any issues at all. There is a photography business located on the premises if you are celebrating a special occasion. When we stayed, there was a bride and groom outside of the house having a photo shoot. They can be booked for weddings and occasionally have events at the house that you can register for.
