Found this place by Google Map search and/or Yelp as I didn't want to take my phone to Verizon (why…read moreI'm not sure now). A couple months later, fairly sure that wasn't the better decision. To be fair, I messed up my HTC10 somehow; I think moderately wet hands cause my screen to start not registering touches in vertical bar patterns. After dealing with this for a few months and it not getting any better, I thought maybe just the screen needed to be replaced. Again, to be fair it's possible more needed to be replaced. So I went in and asked about a screen replacement and noted my general problem. I was more led down the line of how much my phone was still worth almost as if to say if I wanted to sell it, though ultimately noting that it was worth repairing. I put down the first half of the cost and came back a couple days later after the part was ordered online from a random supplier of phone parts. An hour or so later I came back with my phone all put back together, paid the rest of the cost and went on my way. Over the next day or so the "new" screen started to have some dead spots and continually got worse over the next few months until now where it's pretty much useless. Again, it's possible something else in the screen was damaged and a new screen just put a band-aid on it. However, I don't believe it was well repaired as over the last couple of months when a spot or section went bad, some good jiggling or tapping of the phone would get it working again. As well, even from the start, the "home" button in the bottom center was not well placed back in and was offset from where it should be. Also noticed I was fairly easily able to slide in a business card or thin paper between the screen and metal body to try to reseat the "home" button. So, the repair didn't come back looking like new and to me wasn't a good quality repair. It might be more of my issue, but I struggled to stop by this place with the way the hours are set and ran out of my 14 days from repair to take it back in at no cost (at least according to the receipt). I called once in there and left a message only to never have it returned, I could have been more persistent, but I don't have time for that. I only give a 2nd star here as at least the work is done in house and with decent looking equipment. Maybe it was just that I had an off phone (I think HTC10s aren't too popular) so if you've got an iPhone or an easier repair it'll work for you. But for me, it didn't work and I don't think the quality of the work was very good.

My wife fell down the stairs after slipping on ice at her work. The screen on her new Samsung S21…read moreultra was broken in the process. she chose to take it to this establishment to have the screen replaced. Many days and $400 later he installed an unbroken screen. Quite some time after this repair, my wife was trying to take some photos and everything was blurred when you opened the camera app. Upon closer inspection, we noticed small droplets of water on the inside cover of all the camera lenses. Apparently, Mr Holley did not take the time to dry the interior of the device prion to installing the replacement, or failed to seal it properly while effecting the repair. When confronted with this, he chose to become aggressive towards me and informed me that this was a common issue which occurred when any device is exposed to rapid temperature changes. Having a firm grasp upon the laws of physics myself, I attempted to explain how he was in error. He simply became more agitated. He refused to admit any culpability and charged my wife for this repair as well. I then went to Samsung to inquire about his assertion and they informed me that the only way condensation could appear on the inside of the device was for the case to be open or improperly sealed. As I already believed. Since, Mr Holley has accused us of attempting to defraud him for informing others of his shoddy work. Also, when my wife initially brought the broken device to him, she informed him that it was a recent purchase. He failed to discIosed that his business was not authorized by Samsung to repair their devices and that his doing so would nullify any warranty which may have existed. Overall, the entire experience with Mr. Holley was unpleasant. He expects his patrons to trust him with items of value. Items that so many can ill afford to replace. Especially when one considers the current state of our nations economy. Any reasonable person would expect one seeking such trust to be open and honest in return as to what other options may be available to their clients. At the very least, you would hope that they would inform you of any consequences that allowing them to tamper with such a valuable item may incur. I do not believe that my expectations of one such as he are unreasonable. I believe that he was fully aware that a factory warranty existed on my wife's device and he knowingly failed to disclose this information to her out of greed. Also, I believe that his status as an active corporation opens him to liability in this instance. Predatory tactics that defraud consumers are no longer accepted. Even should the courts turn a blind eye, the consumer will not. We will not exchange our hard won money to one who does not return to us the same value. To anyone considering allowing this place to repair your device I say; Caveat Emptor! (Buyer Beware)
