It arrived on time, and the lady that ordered my screen replacement called me the day before it was anticipated to arrive, as promised, to schedule my time to come get it fixed. Once I arrived to the shop, she and the owner (who fixed my screen) were very polite, and very casual. My screen was fixed in less than half an hour, and works beautifully. The very next day, my screen broke again, so I do wish they had some kind of warranty or something - but it was totally my fault that it broke again. (Ive never broken a screen in my life and broke the one on this phone twice in a month right after getting it, go figure!) I was so happy with my experience I called about another phone, and they were very straightforward with me in saying that since my other phone and software was so old, just upgrading would be cheaper. I researched it and they were totally right. I appreciate their candor, rather than them just trying to make a buck off another replacement. I'm not sure why the other reviews are so negative at all. Was told it was only the power connector needed. Ok fine. Called the next day, Saturday (5/2) and was told the new connector is in but it also needed a battery and the technician won't be back until Monday. Called Monday and was told they ordered a battery and won't be in until Thursday. Called Thursday and was 'next in line' for the install and will get a call Friday. Called Friday morning and was still 'next' but would be done by noon. Called at 4pm and was on hold for 30 minutes. Drive over while on hold and was still waiting for an answer when I arrived. They NEVER picked up the li e again. 2nd time that day. Earlier was on hold for 13 minutes hung up and called back. At the store he asked me to come back today - Saturday - to pick it up. Called this morning and told not only is dude is out until next week, they need to order a battery. Wait, it was there Thursday I thought. Is the tablet fixed? No. No calls, no updates, and lies all along about the service. I checked the activity meter and they never even turned it on the entire week. I just went to get it today and had to wait 2 hours for them to put it back together. Going to take it elsewhere for a battery but when plugged in at home, it charged and worked!! So, were they trying to scam me for a new not needed battery? Were they just dragging it out on purpose? Do they not have proper technicians?
