Before I came in to iFix, I had asked my friend to fix my shattered iPhone screen and all was well until a week later, my LCD screen started to get messed up. So, I was like OKAY, Imma go get it fixed professionally. So, I brought it in to iFix and they just told me that the screen needed replacing again and that it would be done in and hour for $60. I came back an hour later, and they told me that a couple screws were missing and something was damaged. So i was like cool, but damn shoulda just got it done professionally. IT DOESN'T STOP THERE. Just last night, my stupid ass dropped my phone for the millionth time, and I picked it up to see that my LCD screen had gone insane again. So i was like daaaammmnnn. I went into iFix this morning to get it fixed again and told them i got my screen fixed here before, so they told me that they'd charge me $50 and it'll take an hour. So after work, I came back and the guy that fixed my phone the previous time had remembered me hahahahah. But yeah, all in all, these guys are pretty professional and very friendly !! After 5 years it was finally time to kick Vista to the curb. Actually after 5 minutes it was time to kick Vista, but it took me until now to get sick of it. Tan's team did an awesome job upgrading my OS to Windows 7. They installed a good antivirus suite, too. My laptop came back cleaned and the wonky frame was tightened down. Definitely got it back in much better condition than when I dropped it off, and very reasonable price. Way better than any other place I've taken my place in Davis to. I went back, this time for my own desktop computer; it refused to acknowledge in any way that I had a dvd drive. They ended up keeping it overnight, and when I called they listed about 4 different things they had tested and replaced, but still weren't able to "locate" the dvd drive. I asked if it was a lost cause, and he said there were a couple more things he wanted to try, including testing the motherboard, and he'd call me back. Long story short, when I went to pick up my computer that day, the guy said "that'll be $20.00." I actually squealed, and I think I annoyed him. He said "It was a problem with the motherboard. It wasn't a hard fix, once we figured out what the problem was." It's really refreshing to me that unlike so many other places I've dealt with, they don't charge the customer for time they spend "fumbling around" before the actual fixing. Love them. read more

The best shop ever!! They have fixed my phone twice once from water damage and another from a drop that broke my screen and the LCD backing. They fixed it quickly and with a fair price. Apple was going to charge me basically the price of a new phone to get it fixed and the guys here fixed it for about a quarter of the price! Needless to say I'm bad luck with phones so I'm getting a super solid case now but I would've had to get a new phone if it wasn't for them. read more

This place rocks! I brought my PS3 in in late January.Tran and his guys fixed it and it was going great. They even give a 3 month warranty with the fixes. About a week ago, my PS3 went down. I called Tran and he said that although I was out of warranty, he would still stand behind his workmanship. He charged me less than half what his initial cost was (mind you I was out of warranty, so I was stoked!) and added a second 3 month warranty. When he called (the next day) to tell me my PS3 was fixed,it turned out to be a chip that was not covered in the original warranty, but! he stuck to the price and still kept the extended warranty. Jimmy took 3 hours on my MacBook Pro and just to say it needs a new LCD display for $580 plus the $60 for his "diagnose" service that I didn't ask for. He didn't bother to call back with an update. In one of my more notable moments of stupidity, I managed to spill about half a bottle of water on my laptop, rendering the keyboard useless. As the functioning of my wireless mouse/on-screen keyboard dwindled over the next couple days, my panic, likewise, increased. Fearing the worst, I brought my PC into iFix on Monday morning and told them what had happened. They offered to assess the laptop for free, which was a pleasant surprise for me. I left it there and just a few hours later got a call telling me it needed a new keyboard (which they had in stock and ready to go!) and that they could relace it in just a couple hours. So, in yet another pleasantly surprising turn of events, I took home my fixed-up laptop same day! Friendly staff and good pricing! I just went there to get one of the key for my Macbook Air replaced. I called in earlier to get the price estimate which was $15. This is the one place that told me I can get one key replaced instead of the whole keyboard $$$. Went in and got it done for less than 10 minutes and they even cleaned my keyboard! I told him I want to use some cash and whether or not thats okay to use cash + credit card. I handed him $13 and he didn't charge me for the extra $2 bucks. UPDATE: The key was loose after a couple days, I went back and he fixed it for free! He explained in details why it was loose and told me he will try his best because its a defect in my keyboard. read more

Reimaged both my and my girl friends system. Cleaned them well, restored file. I recommend them for computer repairs. Good honest skilled business. Note that I have edited the review from 5 stars to 4. Yes, they do nice computer work. But previously, my IPHONE screen had cracked, and Apple charged $100 to replace it. Then when it happened again, I found Ifixelectronics only charged $50 to fix it. Great I thought. Wrong. When dropped not far enough to do damage previously, just a bit, not enough to crack the screen the new screen came unglued. They did reglue it but it kept happening and I ended up going to Apple to have it fixed right. So, bring your computer there, but not your Iphone. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE This is so insane that they have such a high rating. Are they all fake accounts? Just like the guy below me Guardon R., I fixed my iphone screen and it was fine for first 3 days but after that it started blurring and shady. Ofc I went back to them because they offered one month "warranty" (lol). Same thing happened. Worked for a few days and started getting weird. Went back to them again and did exactly the same thing and they said it is not a screen problem so they cannot fix it. Well it is the problem that I did not have before they fixed my phone. They caused the problem and ended up abandoning it. I am suspecting they steal some components from phone and replace it with cheap one. Used them twice for screen repair. The first time was fine but the second time they seemed to do some really shoddy work and my screen is super sensitive at times and almost unresponsive at others. Oh and they raised their price by about 50% 90 bucks for the screen repair. I was in a time crunch otherwise I would have taken it somewhere else. read more

They repaired the cracks on the screen of a iPad mini I had and did great work on it... however in terms of selling any electronics you may have (ie. wireless mouse, cases for tablets, memory cards) they don't seem to want anything but cell phone accessories and some used Mac Monitors. I would not recommend for selling anything... in my experience they gave no time to think and simply told me no right away, no matter the items. read more

I think they are overpriced and under- educated. It it's something simple or they have an item in stock, they can fix it or provide it. If it's more complex, they will not be able to correctly diagnose the problem, let alone fix it. read more

Omg!!! Why didn't I come here first? These guys are very nice and very helpful. My daughter had dropped her brand new laptop a month after she got it as a present, of course it didn't have any warranty on it, I took it back to BEST BUY geek squad in woodland and they told me that they couldn't fix it and they had to ship it to some headquarters out of state and I had to pay 80$$ upfront to ship it and once they evaluate the problem they will call me to tell me how much it will cost 4 days later I got a call from them saying it will cost $600.00 (50% of the price of the laptop) since the key board and the mother board needed to be replaced. I was like what? I couldn't believe it so I asked them to send my laptop back and I opted to not get it repaired. I was driving by in Davis and saw this place, I went in the guys told me it will cost $25.00 to diagnose and then they can see what's going on, I dropped the laptop and 30 mins later I get a call saying that the laptop was fixed and that there was nothing wrong with it except the "on" button was dislodged. So in an incredible moment of stupidity, I set a magnet down on top of my MacBook and fried the hard drive. I wasn't sure what all this meant; if I had to buy a new computer or if it was reparable or what. I was gearing up to head to the Apple store to blow 1200 dollars on a new one when I decided to try taking it to iFix first. It took them less than 24 hours to replace my harddrive and throw in a bunch of programs I didn't even have before.
