I love this place! I come all the way from Vacaville when I have a problem. These guys know what their doing, and to top it off. They know how to leave the shady business behind. They're honest, and give it to you straight. If your computer isn't worth fixing, they don't rack up charges, and tell you about it later. They give you the news right away, no fee. They 'genuinely care! When someone has a problem, I tell all my friends to go here. Great service, honest opinions, and repairs made quickly. Thank You for being awesome! read more

I wished they could have fixed my laptop. They ordered a screen replacement and when it arrived, it was damaged. Afterwards, I was told they couldn't contact another seller for the screen and returned my laptop in a worse condition. Fortunately I was able to fix my laptop at a CHEAPER price elsewhere in Davis. If you're looking for cheap and reliable this wouldn't be my first stop. read more

I would not bring Mac or Mac-related products here. I brought in an old hard drive that was slow but working and asked them to back it up. They said they couldn't even read the drive. When I expressed concern that that wasn't the behavior of the device when I left it with them (and before they dis- and re-assembled it), the older gentlemen didn't seem to understand my concern and just smirked and shrugged. Luckily, my MacBook can still read the drive so I'll just bring it somewhere else that can help. read more

I went back, this time for my own desktop computer; it refused to acknowledge in any way that I had a dvd drive. They ended up keeping it overnight, and when I called they listed about 4 different things they had tested and replaced, but still weren't able to "locate" the dvd drive. I asked if it was a lost cause, and he said there were a couple more things he wanted to try, including testing the motherboard, and he'd call me back. Long story short, when I went to pick up my computer that day, the guy said "that'll be $20.00." I actually squealed, and I think I annoyed him. He said "It was a problem with the motherboard. It wasn't a hard fix, once we figured out what the problem was." It's really refreshing to me that unlike so many other places I've dealt with, they don't charge the customer for time they spend "fumbling around" before the actual fixing. Love them. read more

The best shop ever!! They have fixed my phone twice once from water damage and another from a drop that broke my screen and the LCD backing. They fixed it quickly and with a fair price. Apple was going to charge me basically the price of a new phone to get it fixed and the guys here fixed it for about a quarter of the price! Needless to say I'm bad luck with phones so I'm getting a super solid case now but I would've had to get a new phone if it wasn't for them. read more

This place rocks! I brought my PS3 in in late January.Tran and his guys fixed it and it was going great. They even give a 3 month warranty with the fixes. About a week ago, my PS3 went down. I called Tran and he said that although I was out of warranty, he would still stand behind his workmanship. He charged me less than half what his initial cost was (mind you I was out of warranty, so I was stoked!) and added a second 3 month warranty. When he called (the next day) to tell me my PS3 was fixed,it turned out to be a chip that was not covered in the original warranty, but! he stuck to the price and still kept the extended warranty. This place rocks! read more

Had an Xbox that would nor read discs and the drive would not open. Dropped it off and it was done the next day and at a very reasonable price. The staff is very helpful and the price was very nice. read more

We had to bring an X-Box back three times but it finally got fixed. The staff was friendly. read more

They are scammers. Take your electronics elsewhere . Do NOT leave your electronics with him. Jimmy took 3 hours on my MacBook Pro and just to say it needs a new LCD display for $580 plus the $60 for his "diagnose" service that I didn't ask for. He didn't bother to call back with an update. At the Apple store, it's free for a diagnose and $375 for a new display. He's ripping people off for no reason. Too overpriced. read more

Very honest and kind service! I came in asking them to fix my laptop but they found my computer was still covered under warrantee and directed me to another business for a quick fix for the time being. Patient with me and I will certainly be a returning customer with any tech trouble. Family run too! read more

In one of my more notable moments of stupidity, I managed to spill about half a bottle of water on my laptop, rendering the keyboard useless. As the functioning of my wireless mouse/on-screen keyboard dwindled over the next couple days, my panic, likewise, increased. Fearing the worst, I brought my PC into iFix on Monday morning and told them what had happened. They offered to assess the laptop for free, which was a pleasant surprise for me. I left it there and just a few hours later got a call telling me it needed a new keyboard (which they had in stock and ready to go!) and that they could relace it in just a couple hours. So, in yet another pleasantly surprising turn of events, I took home my fixed-up laptop same day! The price was reasonable, the staff was prompt, helpful, and attentive, and my computer looks better than ever. Definitely will be going here for any future technology needs. read more

Brought in my Toshiba laptop after a week of the keyboard not responding, they fixed it overnight. A little bit pricey ($70), but they were quick, convenient, and were pretty good with communication. Would go again. read more

Friendly staff and good pricing! I just went there to get one of the key for my Macbook Air replaced. I called in earlier to get the price estimate which was $15. This is the one place that told me I can get one key replaced instead of the whole keyboard $$$. Went in and got it done for less than 10 minutes and they even cleaned my keyboard! I told him I want to use some cash and whether or not thats okay to use cash + credit card. I handed him $13 and he didn't charge me for the extra $2 bucks. UPDATE: The key was loose after a couple days, I went back and he fixed it for free! He explained in details why it was loose and told me he will try his best because its a defect in my keyboard. read more

Reimaged both my and my girl friends system. Cleaned them well, restored file. I recommend them for computer repairs. Good honest skilled business. Note that I have edited the review from 5 stars to 4. Yes, they do nice computer work. But previously, my IPHONE screen had cracked, and Apple charged $100 to replace it. Then when it happened again, I found Ifixelectronics only charged $50 to fix it. Great I thought. Wrong. When dropped not far enough to do damage previously, just a bit, not enough to crack the screen the new screen came unglued. They did reglue it but it kept happening and I ended up going to Apple to have it fixed right. So, bring your computer there, but not your Iphone. read more

desperately needed quick help for my dropped broken iPhone screen that would not work at all. All done in an hour! good as new & very nice! Hopefully will not need them again soon, but very happy they exist! Shout out to my 12 year old Vanessa, for telling me to go there. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE This is so insane that they have such a high rating. Are they all fake accounts? Just like the guy below me Guardon R., I fixed my iphone screen and it was fine for first 3 days but after that it started blurring and shady. Ofc I went back to them because they offered one month "warranty" (lol). Same thing happened. Worked for a few days and started getting weird. Went back to them again and did exactly the same thing and they said it is not a screen problem so they cannot fix it. Well it is the problem that I did not have before they fixed my phone. They caused the problem and ended up abandoning it. I am suspecting they steal some components from phone and replace it with cheap one. Well who knows They rip off anyway so official apple store would be a lot better choice. Just dont go. and get it fixed from somewhere else. read more

These guys are great. I've been to iFix 3 times for a motherboard replacement and associated laptop issues and they've always been prompt on the fix and more than helpful with advice. They even cut me some slack on slightly-beyond-warranty service. To the hapless layman, gadget geeks wield great power. They use their powers for good. read more

Nicest and most professional guys I've dealt with in a long time. They diagnosed a problem they could not fix with my I-Mac and did not charge anything saying " if we can't fix it, we're not going to charge you"... this despite my offer to pay for their time. They're obviously in it for the long haul and work hard to get and maintain their customers. I highly recommend IFix Electronics for their integrity and amazingly fast service. read more

Used them twice for screen repair. The first time was fine but the second time they seemed to do some really shoddy work and my screen is super sensitive at times and almost unresponsive at others. Oh and they raised their price by about 50% 90 bucks for the screen repair. I was in a time crunch otherwise I would have taken it somewhere else. read more

Do not go here. The prices are exorbitant for what you are getting. You are better off going somewhere else. Very disrespectful. They're like the guys at the shooting range who think they know it all and likes to belittle people. Very unprofessional and not worth your business. I've been here before a few times to fix my game consoles and service has gone down then. Possibly from new management? BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

Well Friday night and 3 day weekend and I was rushing to close shop and start my weekend. When my phone slips from my hand and cracks the screen. this was at 6:15 i called these guys and was told if I showed up by 6:30 they would repair my screen no problem. I was out of there by 6:55 with a screen protecter and new screen. Thank you for the speed work. read more

Dropped my iPhone and cracked the glass. Luckily found this place. I called and they told me to bring it in. 2 hours later...glass is replaced and all is well. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend! read more

They repaired the cracks on the screen of a iPad mini I had and did great work on it... however in terms of selling any electronics you may have (ie. wireless mouse, cases for tablets, memory cards) they don't seem to want anything but cell phone accessories and some used Mac Monitors. I would not recommend for selling anything... in my experience they gave no time to think and simply told me no right away, no matter the items. read more

I Love These Guys!! I was having some major issues with my mac and first took it to another computer repair shop that kept my computer for over a week only to have the issue repeat after one day. Luckily I found iFix and gave them a go. Not only were they quick ( just a couple of days) but they were cheaper and my Mac works great!!! These guys are Pros!! Very highly recommended!!! read more

This time Elaine dropped my phone. No she didn't throw it at me. The guys at ifix did a great job and within an hour. Well priced.

So in an incredible moment of stupidity, I set a magnet down on top of my MacBook and fried the hard drive. I wasn't sure what all this meant; if I had to buy a new computer or if it was reparable or what. I was gearing up to head to the Apple store to blow 1200 dollars on a new one when I decided to try taking it to iFix first. It took them less than 24 hours to replace my harddrive and throw in a bunch of programs I didn't even have before. I held off writing this review for a few days just to make sure things would continue to work and lo and behold, the freaking thing works better than before. Oh, and they put a really cool desktop background in for me. read more

Love these guys. Drop it off broken, pick it up fixed. The bill is what they said it would be. They weren't quite as fast as they said they would be, but pretty close. I've used them several times for different issues. Consistently good. read more

I think they are overpriced and under- educated. It it's something simple or they have an item in stock, they can fix it or provide it. If it's more complex, they will not be able to correctly diagnose the problem, let alone fix it. read more

The Customer service is not incredible but they make up for it with a fish tank. The guys here good at what they do they and they don't charge an arm and a leg to get it fixed. Omg!!! Why didn't I come here first? These guys are very nice and very helpful. My daughter had dropped her brand new laptop a month after she got it as a present, of course it didn't have any warranty on it, I took it back to BEST BUY geek squad in woodland and they told me that they couldn't fix it and they had to ship it to some headquarters out of state and I had to pay 80$$ upfront to ship it and once they evaluate the problem they will call me to tell me how much it will cost 4 days later I got a call from them saying it will cost $600.00 (50% of the price of the laptop) since the key board and the mother board needed to be replaced. I was like what? I couldn't believe it so I asked them to send my laptop back and I opted to not get it repaired. I was driving by in Davis and saw this place, I went in the guys told me it will cost $25.00 to diagnose and then they can see what's going on, I dropped the laptop and 30 mins later I get a call saying that the laptop was fixed and that there was nothing wrong with it except the "on" button was dislodged. I didn't have to pay anything extra over my $25.00. Very honest people would give them 100if I could. read more

I'm so impressed with this place. First, the place smells nice, like apple cider. Then the people working there are kind and soft spoken and very skilled at what they do. And they have candy, chocolate candy, no jolly ranchers or lifesavers! I just had the glass replaced on my iPhone 3G, and today I picked up my netbook. I had them replace a few keys and reformat the hard drive. I am pleasantly surprised to find my netbook is like a new computer. They replaced the keyboard, so it's sooo clean now and when he reformatted the hard drive, he reinstalled iTunes, Picasa, firefox and AVG. The prices are VERY reasonable, especially considering how convenient they are to just stop into (instead of driving into Sacto for a repair) and how truly skilled the workmanship is. I'm so pleased Thank you so much! read more
