I had a great experience with Ideal Dental Pflugerville and I loved Dr Ngo! I needed a cavity filled and she numbed my gums with no issue and had great bed side manners. Dr Ngo called me the next day to check in which I really appreciated since I can imagine she's very busy. My only feedback was the TV's in the room were unplugged and music wasn't playing so I put headphones on since I needed background noise. read more

My family and I have been going to this dental office since 2019 and the experience over the years have gotten worse and worse. The manager, Jeanette, is rude and has POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called the office letting them know I was running about 10 min late (11:00am) but was on the way to the appt. I show up 5 min past what I communicated (total 15 min 11:15am) and Jeanette says she will have to reschedule me because the doctor left right at the 10 min mark lol. I asked her why they couldn't just call me so that I didn't come all this way and she said they just assumed I wasn't coming. WTH kind of service is that? I've been to 5-6 appts. Let me say upfront, the two dentists I saw were great. The staff I saw, on the other hand, seemed to be new in that their demeanor was not professional. I'm sure they were qualified but when you're a dental chicken to start with, lack of professionalism stirs the pot. Time in between procedures seems to take forever. But what really took the cake was when I was seated in the waiting room before leaving, there were 10 dead crickets on the floor. There is no need for any place yet alone a healthcare business to have dirty floors IN THE MORNING along with dead bugs. I will never go in there again. I went in for a routine exam and cleaning. I was upset after the appointment because the "dental assistant" didn't know what she was doing. She didn't know how to floss my teeth, she actually pulled the floss out with flossing because it was too difficult for her. She "polished" my teeth for less than a minute, it was joke and because my teeth are sensitive to cold, they couldn't use the water tool they use so they quickly used the hand scraper. They tried to add on additional items that I didn't request, like a night guard. I already have one! AVOID at all costs. They do terrible work and are just looking for ways to increase the charges. read more

What a terrible experience. My appointment was at 0830 and it was nearly 11:30 when I left. This was my initial appointment and I only had my teeth cleaned. I was taken to the room right away and my tech, Vanessa introduced herself. She was fine but I think she was pretty new as she asked many questions of others. That is the extent of good things I have to say. My teeth cleaning was horrible, they clean teeth with a water blaster 9000 and joke that the facial is feee-how about the after boarding? Should the back of my shirt been wet from water running down my neck? The tech holding the suction wouldn't know how though, she was distracted by other things. The girl who did my polish flung polish all over my face and continued to apologize. Maybe she was new, maybe she didn't work there: there were no less than 5 sets of hands in my mouth over the course of my three hour appointment. I went in for a crown (front tooth). The crown provided was terrible. It was brown. I waited 4 months for a replacement, wearing a temporary. When it finally came in I went in for the placement. I had a different dentist. She suggested I consider crowns on all my front teeth so they match. I have white, healthy teeth. I told her that's not going to happen for cosmetic proposes she should try to match the crown to my teeth. This is the first I've heard of this from the dental team. I'd made many phone calls over the 4 months checking the status of the 2nd crown. Some calls went with no call back despite the request. On my way out I talked to the manager who had told me she wanted to provide me with some tooth whiter because of all the issues. She gave a syringe of 10% Polanight. No instructions. No end on the syringe, just a plug. She told me it was $150 worth and would last 6 months. When I got out to my car, I looked it up online because I had no idea when or how to use it, how much or how often. I see they sell the exact same thing on Amazon. 4 syringes for $24. Wow. This entire experience was a joke. If you get your teeth whitened in the office, don't pay $150 read more

This place is horrible with billing. I will not go back because of that. They sent me a bill in June of 2023 for something that was done in 2021 and I have called several times with no response as to what it is and why I am getting billed. In the meantime, they keeping sending me text messages telling me I owe them money. Another time, I received a bill for cleaning that should have been covered by my insurance, but they coded it wrong and I have been on hold for more than 15 minutes finally had to hang up because I do work. No call back from them, but I can guarantee that if I ignore this, they will send it to collections. They are the worst and I am going to go somewhere else. read more

I'm admittingly one of those people who are terrified of the dentist office. Yes, even at my age... We exist! So you know it was bad that I had to call and get myself over here. My first encounter was the woman who answered my call. I can't remember her name, but she was such a wonderful, kind, and uplifting person. I immediately felt at ease. She took all my info scheduled me to see the dentist the very next day. When I arrived, I provided secondary insurance which they explained they would set up. However, I'd have to pay the out of pocket and probably have to submit for a reimbursement or get a refund once it's run. No problem, that was my bad for not providing it over the phone. Now was the moment of truth. Miranda and Dr. Logue were fantastic. They made sure I was comfortable and not dying, like I thought I was. I ended up having an emergency procedure and they were just amazing the entire time. I wasn't thrilled to have to come back to get work finished a couple weeks later, but I did and again Miranda and Dr. Logue were so kind and patient with me. Anh also squeezed me in to get a cleaning done since I was already there and numb. She was also super patient and kind. I can't say enough nice things about this place. From the front desk staff to the hygentists and doctors, they are amazing! Considering how terrified I was to come here, they made my experience great! Do not go here if you care about your health. This firm lied to me from the moment I walked in the door all the way until the end of my appointment. Do not sign their information disclosure. They will tell you you have to, until you spend a minute reviewing their fine print document that they do not give you unless requested. Then they will tell you you don't have to sign it. They are selling your information after they empty your wallet on unnecessary medical care. They told me I had 5 cavities, one of them in need of a crown. They told me I'm responsible for 75% of the bill when my insurance covers 50%. They told me they cannot use my better insurance policy that covers 80%. I went to an actual dentist the following week to get a second opinion. I have 1 cavity and it does not need a crown. Not only was I about to let Brush32 make unnecessary drills into my mouth, I was about to pay them upwards of $700 in work that I don't need--- and that estimate did not even include my 4 other "cavities", which upon a caring examination were determined to be coffee stains. Save yourself time, money, bone, and worry by going to a doctor that cares about promoting health rather than their already handsome wallet. They should be ashamed. read more

The staff is so nice! I felt really confident in the older dentist who did our consultation. My kid needed a root canal and we signed up and paid $547 for MetroCare which is a discount plan specifically for Brush32- no other providers in Austin. Then they tried to sell us a $1400 "discounted" root canal. I've been a cash pay dental patient my entire adult life. That is not a discount, that's a pretty standard price for a root canal. When we showed up for the root canal, our dentist was a very young woman and when I googled her while we waited she had one star from another dentistry. Would have been nice if they hadn't switched doctors the day of the procedure and hadn't sold us a bogus "discount plan." read more

Update: 4/28 So I've been calling them for several days to cancel my fiance's appointment. No answer. Left messages. No call back. I called another location this morning to have them relay a message to them. Still nothing. I physically came to the location which Cecelia proceed to LIE to my face saying they talked to my fiancé this morning and he cancelled the appointment. HE HAS TALKED TO NO ONE. THEY DO NOT HAVE HIS INFORMATION. I'm not understanding what is happening here. I'm not EVEN being ridiculous y'all...this is asinine!!! I wanted to like this place. I really did. Started off fine. Fancy 3D skull x-ray and tooth camera. Got a cleaning. After gawking at our amazing insurance coverage, the office manager (assumption), Veronica, came in and asked if I wanted to go ahead and start the services that day after I already told them no. I had both of my children with and just wanted the consult and cleaning. She then insisted that it would only take 30 mins to my filling and I said no again. She then started in on asking me when I would like to come in for my root canal. This was Saturday and I told her I would need to see the costs and talk to my fiancé. Told me I could make a down payment and pay the rest over the next few months. Sounds great! She made me an appointment for that following Monday. Monday comes and I can't make it because my fiancé wants to wait until I a few things clear the bank (we are under 30 days planning an almost 200 person wedding. Money is flying in too many different directions). I understand paying the $50 missed appointment fee because they blocked off so much time for my dental work. Cool. I apologize and tell her I'll get back with her Friday when things clear the bank. She then asks if I can do a lower down payment amount. IS SHE NOT HEARING ME SAY NO?! Thursday I get call asking me to verbally confirm my appointment for Friday...at first I was like sure I'll be there but let me check my calendar. I have items on my calendar. I wouldn't have made that appointment. I don't recall actually making the appointment. I tell her this and she argues me down about how she told me this and that. I kindly reminded her that I told I had to wait until things clear to make an appointment. She gets passive aggressive and tells me "That's fine. We'll go ahead and collect the $50 for today too." I ask her if she's hearing me say that I said Friday. She's passive aggressive again, repeating "I understand" and reminding me about papers I signed agreeing to the fee. I AGREE IF I ACTUALLY MADE THE APPOINTMENT!!!! Which I did not. At this point I'm angry and on the verge of tears because all they seem to care about his collecting their money and not even listening to me saying NOT YET. I'm absolutely positive they overcharged for my crowns too. My fiancé says OOP with insurance paying 80% should be about $180-$200. Each one was basically $300! Which was another reason we wanted to wait to make sure. Tacky business. Over talking me, patronizing and condescending. If you love that...go here. If love being bullied into appointments...go here. UPDATE: Horrible business practices and Insurance Fraud that has been report to the Texas Attorney General, Insurance and Dental Boards of Texas. I had a tooth extracted with Brush32 and I paid what I was being told was my deductible. It then took them over 6 months to file with my insurance. Then when I get my EOB and find out that I was only response for 1/4th of the bill, I called them about a refund. I emailed all the documents that they requested because they said they had not receive payment. I asked for a call to confirm receipt and to discuss. After a week with no call, I contacted them. I am then told that they didn't put all of the procedures on the insurance claim and that is what the other money covered. I contacted my insurance company and was told that if they are now saying that they didn't include all the procedure codes that they are in violation of their agreement with the insurance company and it will be filed with the Texas Attorney General as well as the Texas Dental and Texas Insurance Boards. All because they wanted to cheat someone out of their money. Being educated about reading you EOBs is very important because this is a common practice that medical offices will try to collect more than they legally can from you. 12/14/2020 I receive new EOBs from my insurance company, showing that now Brush32 has refiled with my insurance company for addtional items not once but twice. Both EOBs again state that what I paid was far over what I was responsible for. When I called back after never receiving anything from Brush32 the receptionist was rude. Later Dr Dawson left me a message and when I returned it again I reached the same rude receptionist. When Dr Dawson called me back he was not much better and had no explanation of why they have now filed 2 additional claims. Don't ever expect to see the money that they owe me but trust me I will continue to post reviews on their poor business practicies. read more

The dentists are great, however the billing is a disaster. They have billed claims to an old insurance twice and it's taken weeks to get it resolved. Their billing is not done on site, and they won't let you actually speak with the people doing the billing ended in a game of telephone hoping to get it resolved. When they send you bills, they also only send you the amount you owe with no description so you have to call to find out what it's for. They take x-rays every time and then try to charge you for them, even though you are only covered once a year and they don't ask beforehand. They will claim it's a HIPPA privacy law that they can't email the details out of the services incase it gets sent to the wrong person, however you get EOBs from your insurance and there is no law that it is breaking. It's a ponzie scheme to get people who don't know much about medical/insurance to pay for things hoping they won't call and ask. Love this office, but I'm thinking about changing offices, as they are more trouble than they are worth at this point. read more

I'm fortunate to understand dental insurance thanks to my job but she didn't know that and was great at helping me understand our fees. They take care credit as well which always helps! My husband was the patient and he had a great experience getting two root canals and his crowns placed temporarily as well. They look great and I'm glad we picked this office for husbands dental treatment. UPDATE: Husband has now had his actual crowns placed and they look PERFECT. I decided on this dentist because it had the best reviews out of all the companies my insurance covers. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the facility was when I first came here and how friendly everyone is. The hygienists and dentists are very transparent with wait times and procedures. They also listened to me and didn't brush me off like I usually feel in other offices where it seems like questions are an inconvenience. Wow! I can't even begin to describe the wonderful experience I had at Brush 32. All my life I had been absolutely petrified of going to the dentist. Dr. Louge and the staff are SO sweet and friendly, they welcome you like old friends. I had to have a few shots of anesthetic to get through my procedure and the staff were extremely understanding and accommodating of my anxiety. Dr. Louge is great and he gives you his undivided attention and is cautious about monitoring pain levels. Cierra and Hannah are wonderful assistants; super friendly and upbeat. I also love that Victoria, the front desk lady, comes back to sit down to discuss treatment plans and insurance with you. It feels great to know my options and make decisions based on what I need/can afford. This quiet office is a fantastic place to get any sort of work done. Also the generous referral plan gives you $50 off your treatment if someone you refer comes in. This office takes Care Credit and makes short in house payment plans. DeLaine was very passive aggressive. When we arrived at the office she instructed me to wait in my car with my driver and call. Due to COVID precautions. Which isn't unreasonable. They way she acted towards me and my driver in a room full of people was uncalled for. When I did go to my car and called she address me rudely. Stating that she knew who I was, she instructed me to go out there. I was just giving my name incase it was someone else that picked up the phone .. Delaine never told me if I was supposed to wait for her to call back, or give me further instructions. I work overnights, I came from work. I worked overtime and I'm tired. DeLaine made me feel like shit because I didn't read my text messages that I get while I'm supposed to be sleeping. I work in security and I can't have my phone on due to the sensitive nature of my work. That interaction alone makes me want to never come back to Ideal Dental. If this person is part of your greeting team get rid of them or retrain them in customer service. Coming to the dentist is intimidating enough you don't need them adding to it. Side note only two people were wearing a mask. So waiting in the car because of COVID doesn't seem valid based on what I observed. I will say all of that aside she was efficient and did her best to reduce the cost of my visit. Although no one really calmed my nerves and explain what was going to happen during my visit or what I needed after. They just handed me paperwork and told me to sit down. Very disgenuine experience. Worst place ever. Person that verified insurance has no idea what she doing when it comes to military and is very rude. And then if u have 2 insurance they will pick ur primary not u. Even do I told them which one is my primary because her regional told her that. No because they don't want to verify military dental insurance. And then when u give them all the info they need because I'm guessing they don't deal with military a lot she still acts like ur pulling her teeth to get it verified. She was rude on the phone n attitude in person. If u can't be professional just verifying insurance why would I want u working on my mouth? So called another place. Gave them the same info I gave them. And they verified it in less then 5 minutes and saw me same day as well. U can always tell the people that love their job and care about their customers from the ones that don't. The only reason I was looking for another dentist instead of my usual is because of tooth pain. Or I would have gone to my original. But thanks to there rudeness. My complaint has nothing to do with the actual dental service - that was fine and the people are really nice. My complaint is about billing. I paid what I was told my copay was at the time of service, slightly less than $2000. 2 months later I got a bill that I owed another $800. I called to complain and get an audit done. They found they had run the service on the wrong tooth to insurance. A month and half later I got a new bill for $500. I call again, and then reviewed insurance EOB - they overcharged me. They admitted they had the wrong pay schedule for my insurance. Another month later and they admit they owe me $494 but I still don't have it. I have called and called and now no answer. I email, no answer. So here it is mid November, their accounting practices over charged me almost $500 in JUNE and I still don't have the refund. Make sure they have updated pay scales from your insurance and check your EOBs! Here's hoping I actually get the refund. read more

I made an appointment for cleaning and filling and they tried to sell me a $3000 invisalign treatment which I definitely don't need. Ok, even if they thought it was good for me, their approach was totally horrible. After my x-rays, one of the staff played a video about Invisalgn and started telling me about how she can get the pics taken today for that so she can get the treatment started asap. Then another person comes in with a sheet of paper with payment plans, and asks me if I can start with the process of signing up today. Although I said I needed time to think about it, she suggested she would walk out of the room for 5mins and I could call my husband and talk to him, she would come in and then we can start the paperwork. Then when I told her I have to get home to my son so my husband can go to work, they offered to bring my son in so they can baby sit him (super super weird) and I can get my fillings done and sign the paperwork for Invisalign. Terrible place, terrible people. Don't fall for their sweet talk bullshit. They just want to steal your money. BEWARE of these people!!!!! I ran away from there like dogs were chasing me and I am NEVER going back. Worst experience I have ever had. The doctors are not bad I will say they definitely will give it to you straight and definitely will help you out with anything that you need to know about your dental health. Now let's get to the front desk Victoria was very nice at first and persuaded me to write a great review I understood that she was very helpful but to look into it she was just doing it for her paycheck. I am very shocked! That I trusted this office and coming down with the flu not feeling good to come in to get treatment for my frontal teeth. She wanted to keep going on about how I could pay for my treatment that I've already explained to her I would need to reschedule and could not financially pay at the moment due to hospital bills. She continued to ask how could I pay for my treatment when I already explained that I was not financially able to do it at the moment and I would need to reschedule.
