Would recommend avoiding this place. Had some dental work done and the work that was done was done wrong, my tooth they worked on got infected and they wouldn't fix the problem that was caused by them without paying for additional treatment. I paid in full for the initial treatment. I shouldn't have to pay more for something that should have been done correctly in the first place. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The main practice owner was rude and no help at all. I own my own business, If I do a job and get paid for it, my customers expect the work to be done and done correctly. why would it be any different. read more

I really wanted to like this office. I had even referred others to this facility after my first few visits, but not after my most recent experience. The office has a practice now of sending a text to remind you of your visit and unless you "confirm" this visit they cancel your appointment. Is this a joke? I just scheduled the visit a few days ago, why would i need to confirm if I just scheduled it. As a mother of small children I don't have the luxury of being the only operator of my phone so if a text is open and read by my kids I am not aware of this. I just happen to open it and read it the morning of my actual appt that I was lucky enough to have family in town long enough to get this appt taken care of and they cancelled it. Do you know how hard it is to go anywhere without your kids as a stay at home mom? Dr Marek understood what it was to have 2 under 2 and i respected her for this immensely. They put a crown on my back molar in the same day. I didn't have to fool with temporary crowns and two visits. Something wasn't right, but I thought because it was new and would be ok. It was late Thursday but I played the (if it's not good by Monday) game and lost bigtime. The issue was a tiny piece of glue had hardened into what felt like a dagger sticking my cheek on the inside. I love this practice, especially Dr. Marek. I've been a patient for several years. I've never had a complaint. I've always been treated quickly, kindly, and without pain. I screwed up and didn't have regular appointments due to COVID for 2 years. Then, last Saturday, I got a toothache. I called on Tuesday and was just seen today, Wednesday. Dr. Marek diagnosed an infection, tooth death, and recommended a root canal. That was 12 hours ago. I feel better already thanks to antibiotics and a pain pill. She/they are wonderful! read more

I agree with all of the post so far. The service is great. The Dr. and the hygenist take there time and explain everything throughly. The problem comes in with the staff and billing. I first set myself and my daughter up to have annual exams and cleanings, however, I ended up having a miscarriage two days before my appt. I called the day before to cancel and was told by the appointment rep that next time I needed to give a 48 hr notice! I was furious given the fact that I told her I had a miscarriage. Fast-forward two months later, I'm back only because I was told what a great dentist and hygenist this facility has. They were both very wonderful. I was advised that all my services would be covered at no cost, as expected because my insurance covers exams and cleanings. Two months later, I get a bill for $150 bucks. I've called twice to get an explanation and nothing. I'm a bit ticked off about the staff and billing department for sure. read more

Dr. Marek is a wonderful dentist. I've had quite a bit of work done that I had been putting off for awhile. She tries to complete the work doing as little invasive techniques as possible (not doing a root canal unless it's absolutely necessary, etc.) I've been to other dentists who are very quick to order expensive things. They also offer sedation which is very nice if you are someone who has anxiety about the dentist. They really seem to remember you here and you are always treated in a friendly manner. My teeth are naturally soft and many dentists that I have visited act as though they don't believe that I'm not a soda and candy addict. This office understands that I'm trying to keep them strong, I was just born with bad teeth. The hygienists are always very friendly and gentle and the office staff is amazing as well. They understand that it's easier for me to make an appointment through email and they have no problem with that. The office looks new and has tvs for you to watch while they're performing the work. The chair also has a little massager in it and there's coffee and drinks for you in the waiting room. I am so happy that I have found Dr. Marek. Going to the dentist is never fun but now it's not as bad. I feel like she really cares about me and getting my teeth in good shape. read more

I've been to several different dentist and Dr. McEntire is the best. When you show up for your appointment, you're not stuck in a waiting room for an enternity and are actually seen on time. When my temporary crown came out one night, I called the office the next morning and was able to come right in on my way to work (815am) and they had everything back in place by 830am, so I didn't have to miss half a day of work Dr. McEntire and his entire staff are the greatest and I happily refer him to everyone I know. read more

I was looking for a new dentist as the one I'd been using was out of network and I always had additional costs for cleanings. They also had ridiculous pricing. First visit at Hutto Premier Dentistry was for consultation for a crown. Everyone was amazing and helpful with the pros and cons of the options available to me. Definitely no pressure to "over treat" or try to throw me into a smile improvement plan like other places I've been. I look forward to making them my primary dental facility from now on. read more

Great for cleaning, but if you need major work, I'd recommend finding a new dentist. I had a crown for almost 20 years. Dr. McEntire stated that it needed to be replaced because there was a cavity underneath it. Since he replaced the crown I have had nothing but problems. The crown did not fit and for months I complained to his staff letting them know that it didn't feel right and I couldn't chew on that side. They would always tell me that it looked right, and nothing was done. I came in for a routine visit to find out that the roots were infected and that I had to see a specialist. I went to the specialist, and they had to drill through the crown. The crown then broke and Dr. McEntire replaced it, but again the tooth never felt right. I went to a new dentist to find out that the crown is moving and that they can't x-ray through the crown because of the type of crown that Dr. McEntire used. I feel that for 20 years I had no issues with a crown only to have it replaced twice without satisfactory results. The doctor and his staff are nice, but I'd trade bedside manner for a higher level of experience replacing crowns. read more

While I agree with all of the other reviewers, I wanted to share my story in hopes that this does not happen to anyone else. My husband and I were very happy customers of Hutto Premier Dentistry. They are very personable and caring. My husband needed his wisdom teeth removed and they recommended us to a specialist for extraction. When his pain medicine ran out, Dr. Marek was even nice enough to write him a prescription, no questions asked. Our problem developed when we scheduled he second cleaning of the year. They actually called me to schedule an appointment and I said while we are at it, let's schedule one for my husband as well. My husband went to his appointment and came home very satisfied, as usual. He told me that they took x-rays because he told them he had his wisdom teeth removed. A few weeks later, we received a bill in the mail for a total of about $160 dollars for the visit. Surely, this had to be a mistake. When my husband visited the office and spoke with Kelly, she told him it was because our insurance coverage had run out. I spoke with Kelly on the phone about this matter and she began to argue with me. She said we didn't tell their office that he had his wisdom teeth removed. As previously stated, we actually informed them multiple times. She ended the conversation by telling me she would talk to the hygienist and have the office manager, Amy, call me back. Amy did return my phone call but this time the story was different. She informed me that it would be our responsibility to pay the balance because it is our responsibility to know if our dental coverage has run out. I am very disappointed in this experience. I have never felt so taken advantage of. We were loyal customers and also recommended this dentist to multiple friends and family. We will never return to this office. I wanted to post this review in hopes of making everyone else aware of their policy. As their patient, make sure you personally keep track of your own insurance coverage. They do not confirm dental coverage before your appointment and you will be held responsible for the cost occurred. I am sure they are comfortable running their business this way but personally I want to do business with someone who cares for me as a customer, not one that just wants to get the money we "owe" them. read more

This place is incredible! I took my 2 year old in for a checkup and had my 3 month old in tow. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left, the staff literally helped take care of my kids as if they were family. I do not say that lightly. My 3 month old started to fuss when my 2 year old's appointment started and as most parents know, dentist visits are hard at that age. Without skipping a beat, one of the staff happily offered to hold my 3 month old and keep him happy so I could give my full attention to my 2 year old and his appointment. The doctor was thorough, gentle, had a great bedside manner and took time to answer all of my questions. From beginning to end, I can't rave about this place enough. Can't recommend them - based on their high cash customer rates. I had to use them for an uninsured family member and was surprised to be charged much more than I expected. In their defense, they stated that they charge more for cash clients to make up for low insurance reimbursements. Their cash offering only slightly reduces the added surcharge. I found this dentist online through Yelp and with the good reviews made an appointment. I was going on vacation and my normal dentist couldn't get me in in time before I left. I was having severe jaw pain and needed to be seen. They were able to fit me in the next day and without insurance the cost was minimal. The office is beautiful and the staff and dr were very nice. Now for the issues: the dr hardly spent anytime examining me and decided I had lock jaw and sent me home with steroids. She instructed me to come back after 7 days if I was still having pain. The steroids had little effect on me and when I got back from my trip I called to make another appointment because things weren't getting better. I made the appointment for the next day. Then the receptionist proceeds to call me the day of my appointment 30 mins before I need to be there and tell me she spoke to the dr and there is nothing they can do but refer me out to a specialist. So I called the specialist who wanted to charge me $500 just for a consult!!! (No X-rays no nothing just telling me I had lock jaw!) So after that I wanted a second opinion and went to my normal dentist. He had to retake X-rays because he said he didn't know how they could come to the conclusion I had lock jaw with such basic X-rays. He examined me throughly and come to find out I just had an infection in my gums. Antibiotics and 2 days later I feel great. No more jaw pain and scheduled for a cleaning with my normal dentist. Needless to say I won't be changing dentists anytime soon. read more

These people and Dr Mcentire are the BEST at what they do!! He explains each step. He's gentle, compassionate, thorough, and does a great job. He frequently asked me how I was doing. Whatever topical he uses, I barely felt the needle. He also massaged the gums, which helped distract me for the injection. They give you shades, which helps with the bright light the dentist needs. They offer gas as well, if needed, for the anxiety. Very helpful to me because I've had some bad experiences at other places. His assistants, Aimee and Taylor are superb!! The dentist even commented to Aimee how on top of it she was. Love that he verbally recognized her and respects his staff. Aimee went over and beyond, checking on me periodically, asking if I was cold and got me a blanket. She, too, would tell me what she was about to do, super gentle, caring, and friendly personality. The office manager, herself, did my check out. Super friendly, asked how it went, and called me by my first name, which I liked. Front desk lady was very nice and professional, no name tag, so can't say who. This was probably my 3rd time here and it's run like a well oiled machine. They even use headsets to communicate, to let the doctor know the patient is ready. Very impressive professionalism!! Dr. Mcentire takes pride in his work and it shows. I haven't had to return to have anything "refixed", which is a breath of fresh air! read more

Premier is as good as it gets. Remember waiting for 1/2 hour maybe more for simple treatment? Not here, immediate, friendly and overall a great experience.
