I got a hot honey burrito with beans and rice and my gf got birria tacos. Also not pictured is a marg. Hot honey burrito was a lot of food! The rice is okay, a little bland and clumps together, unlike traditional Mexican fluffy rice. Refried beans are fine. Burrito is very filled and was super sweet from the hot honey which made it a bit hard to finish, but definitely enough food, and I probably could have eaten half. Birria tacos were delish and the consumé was super rich. Margs come in different flavors but they all kinda taste the same to me so far, and they're strong. Maybe a bit too strong? Depends what your goal is with them. Service was good, a little slow for us being at the bar, but nothing to be concerned about. Trivia was fun and we'll definitely be back to try some other things on the menu. Great job on menu revamp!

The seasonal salsa was a roasted red pepper which was a great start to our meal, we also got some $5 house margs which are super strong and refreshing. I had the birria tacos and I thought they were really good! The meat was super tender and the consommé was really flavorful and well seasoned, I've had some other places that were pretty watery. I ordered fries because I have food allergies and was unable to partake in the seafood boil bags and other food items on the menu. Forgot to take a picture of the chicken wings, but was told they were good. They were regular with no sauce. I was told that the onion rings were not good. It appeared that it had more batter than onion inside the rings or if they had any onion in it at all. The staff is always friendly and helpful even though we have a large group. I just don't know why they assign one person to the large room, would think a few more hands would be helpful. There were times we were neglected because the waitress was overwhelmed. I used to go sit in Sunrise donuts and drink coffee all night, but then it turned into a Subway and Kamlesh quit to work at Dunkin Donuts down the street. Now I go to The Hat Trick Pub. It's crappy, unassuming, attached to both a bowling alley and a motel. It has pool, shuffle board, a video game that simulates hunting, and an internet juke box. It has drink specials on crappy domestic beers, and a machine to regulate the liquor pours. In short, I will never run into anyone I know here, unless I invite them.

And then instead of being able to ask the bartender for a margarita, I had to flag down a different server AGAIN to put my drink order in. This place seemed super hectic and disorganized. Food runners did not seem to know where they were going and had to yell across the place to ask the servers who ordered the food they were carrying. Not sure if they don't number their tables but it was super distracting and made them look unprofessional. The food itself was mediocre. This is the outdoor space behind Mojave Cantina so they share a menu/kitchen. I thought the meats were quite dry and needed some acid or some kind of brightness to wake them up.
