I haven't visited Go Comedy Club since pre pandemic and it still as funny as before. Came back recently with some friends on a Saturday for one of their 7:30 shows. It's $20 a ticket and you can buy them online and reserve a table. I feel like most people don't have the sense of humor to enjoy improv, but I find it hilarious and I think each of the comics on stage are very talented to think of entire scenarios right on the spot. During the act there's a person coordinating the entire show where they are asking for suggestions from that they want to see performed. Overall it's always a funny scene. At each table if you take a picture of the QR code then then bar menu pops up and can order drinks. They're drinks are always good and come out really fast. If you're looking for some light hearted fun I think it's definitely worth checking out.

This was my wife's and I's first improv show and it did not disappoint. We loved it! Had we not been from out of town, we probably would have returned for another show already!

Whether improv is your thing or not, Go Comedy is well worth your time. Me and my friend came here for an evening show and had so much fun. They really get the crowd involved and take your suggestions throughout. Ordering drinks is so easy from your phone and they bring it directly to your table without having to lift a finger. Overall an amazingly fun and entertaining experience not to miss out on.

LOVE THIS LIL IMPROV THEATER! They are so awesome! All my friends and I had such a blast attending the show. The layout is so cozy and intimate, there's not a bad seat in the house, and it's so nice that it's not just chairs, but a grouping of chairs around a table, so it feels more laid back and of course, so you have room to place your drinks. They have a very adorable bar at the front of the house, but the servers will bring drinks to your table and check up on you throughout the entire show at regular intervals to take your order on if you want anything more, which is so helpful! The improv was so good! I am a bit biased because I came to support one of my friends who took classes and performs improv at this theater, but I was truly blown away by the talent and entertainment that the whole cast was bringing to the performance! They really bounce ideas and energy off of one another and you can tell they all have so much fun putting these shows on and are just having an absolutely great time! The host was great and the audience participation wasn't much at all, so don't worry if that makes you nervous! They are very good at respecting how much or little you want to engage with the show! The energy is infectious and the entire crowd is so wrapped up in it all too! I was so wrapped up that I didn't even think to take photos because I was enjoying my time so spectacularly! I truly can't wait to return for another show! What is particularly awesome about Go Comedy! is that they require proof of vaccination to enter and attend shows, something very clearly and explicitly stated when you either get tickets online or try to come instead. You also are required to wear your mask throughout the entire show as well. There is someone stationed at the door checking for proof of COVID vaccination. One of our friends even came in from Canada, with her vaccination card in tow as well, and got in with no trouble! It is a very refreshing and responsible thing that I serious appreciate that they do. Thanks for keeping us safe during this pandemic, Go Comedy! I laughed more freely knowing this and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!

Great place to go on a date or a good laugh. I love the cringe and awkwardness that comes with improv and big respect to those that do it. It's not an easy thing to do! Masks and Vax cards are still required upon entry and digital drink menus and payments are provided at the table. It is truly a contactless experience.

Came to support a friend in Improv. Nice outing, Great show, lots of laughs, nice drink menu but drinks were not that great. Watered down tasting at best. Stick to wine or beer for satisfaction. Good service. May need one more staff waiter in the theater. Overall nice place to visit. I will probably visit again!

Came here tonight for the 8pm show. Only now just noticed the $2 coupon for checking in, bummer. I ordered a B. Nektar Zombie Killer ($8) which was tasty. I'm a bit spoiled when it comes to improv shows, a friend of mine used to be in a part-time troupe in Atlanta and they were fantastic. I thought this show would be mostly improv but it was kind of a mix, it was the Matt Naas Variety Show. Overall a fun time but not entirely what I was expecting. Apparently we could have stayed for the next show for only $5 or so, wish I had known that. I'd like to see a show here another time but tickets were a little pricey, about $19 online with fees. So we'll see.

It's a nice low key place and not too crowded... I've heard great reviews from this event. The price does varies depending what time -- the "Free" events starts at 11am which you are usually coming at the end of the early show. For my first time going... I was lucky enough to get act with the people on stage. (I was asked random questions, then my answer would decide how the act goes).

Ask the Community - Go Comedy! Improv Theater

Is Go Comedy fairly clean? Or is it more in the gutter? Looking at a Character Fondue show on a friday night at pm.

I've only been there in the daytime for a company event, but it seems like a pretty clean place. It's not ratty and gross.

My daughter particularly enjoys the stuffed toys and puppets. I enjoy the atmosphere and fun crowd. The music is great and so is the food. They have one of the best funnel cake trucks with amazing fried Oreos, sooo good!!! Treat Dreams has an ice cream truck with their famous flavors. The ice cream cookies are the absolute best!!! They have an eclectic variety of food trucks that look and smell mouthwatering. But they could use more seating, it's very limited compared to the amount of people eating the goodies. I love the adult beverages available to purchase through tickets. They have a ginormous variety of beer and mixed drinks, plus some of the money goes toward different charities and good causes. It's ten tickets for $20, but this year I noticed you may purchase individual tickets. I prefer this option! Tickets are $2 a piece, so most beers cost around $6 or three tickets. I got the Griffinclaw pumpkin beer. It was amazing! Very pumpkin forward with a nice spice aftertaste. Most of the mixed drinks are between three and four tickets, cheaper than most bars. I've even seen some for two tickets. The parking can be challenging. We were able to find a good spot and only paid $3.00. But I wonder if it gets more challenging in the evening hours. I bet this a fun time at night. This is a great event when paired with the Funky Ferndale fair. I look forward to next year.

I have a son who has done aerials for a full year elsewhere. Because of Agora's policy and the way the children's classes are set up, they have the first and second tiers simultaneously. We were told that they would see if he would be advanced enough to place in the second tier within a few weeks. I've never noticed anyone actually take a second to evaluate any of the kids, but I have noticed some of the tinier, stretchier girls have been place with the second group. I get that girls are typically more limber than boys; but he is strong and skilled on the equipment.. Needless to say he's still in the first tier. So every week we go and every week he stands in line for approximately 30-40 minutes just to hang on a piece of silk or a trapeze or a Lyra for 15 seconds. We do this about 7-8 times and the hour is up. $160 for this for 8 weeks? It's disappointing. I guess my hopes were too high. Oh the other thing they get ya with is that in order for your child to be in the performance they have to register for the first course and that ends before the program, so then you must enroll in the next 8 weeks. We will head to Eastern Market to check out the group down there. Pros: clean Offer kids classes Staff is friendly

From the moment we walked in, you could feel it. Great music, lively crowd, and just an overall fun atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. The food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing -- everything was plated beautifully and smelled even better. Even just watching dishes hit the tables around us had me planning what I'm ordering next time. What's cool is I'm actually in the area pretty often on Sundays because I go to a laundromat nearby, and it always looks like they're hosting a really solid brunch crowd. After seeing the vibe firsthand, I can definitely see that being a go-to brunch spot. They also keep things exciting throughout the week. Every Thursday at 7 PM, they host trivia with Jonathan from Quizzo -- six rounds covering different topics with chances to win prizes like gift cards. That's the kind of midweek plan that turns a regular Thursday into something to look forward to. Axe throwing has seriously become one of the most fun social activities out right now, and having expert Axe Masters guide you through it makes it even better. They have a "gamemaster" who helps you select from the hundreds of games they have available. Other than that, really enjoyed our evening here.
