We were…read moremet aggressively at the door by a man with a horrible attitude looking at his watch saying he was closing it down in 10 minutes so it was no need to come in. We said had we known that, we wouldn'tve come, but was told you closed at midnight. He barked at us saying that didn't have anything to do with him. We left and went to Bloom, a new restaurant and lounge and it won't be long before all the customers from Duo end up there. They were pleasant from the security to the waitress to the owner. The had great service and even took pics of us to remember the night. Great thing you refused to serve us at 11:20 we would never gone there.

I let her know what was missing and she said it was her fault and asked if I wanted it fixed. I said yeah and she went and got a cold piece of cheese and slice of onion and put it on a plate and gave to me to put on my own burger. I'd expected a little bit better service and I'm certainly not someone who demands top tier service from every spot. Fries were crispy but needed some parm or an aioli sauce to dip in. Also minor note but I had some fries left on my plate and when she came to collect plates I had food in my mouth so I couldn't say anything but she took the plate and my fries! They should always ask if there's any food left on the plate. Burger was decent overall, but definitely nothing special. Environment was cool and I'm sure they have got some other delicious items on the menu but for the price paid and service received, I'd go somewhere else next time.

I usually park on the residential street behind the venue because by the time I arrive, the surrounding parking lots are all full. This works out in my favor though because I have not had to pay for parking. You enter through the back where they check your ID and scan your ticket. They have a nice little seating area with benches towards the back and a decent sized area for a "pit" where you would watch the show. All of their drinks seem fairly priced for a music venue. I paid $8 for a Bell's Oberon Eclipse. It does get SUPER hot in there, especially if you are in the mix closer to the stage. I feel like the music sounds pretty good here and I usually leave feeling super pleased with my experience.

Example: i ordered a regular lemon drop but i was charged for the lemon drop and for titos. I ordered a green tea martini but was brought a green tea shot and was charged for the drink and jameson! They need to let their guest know that in advance especially since the specific liquor was not requested. The manager and bartender seemed nice! The waitresses were nonchalant. That was partially due to the security overdoing their job. Also, being that it is in a basement, it can get pretty humid but that is to be expected when in a basement full of people. Other than that, I always enjoy myself here.
