I've been to icon twice so far and my experience has always been exemplary!! My last visit was due to someone grinding against my Tesla, which Icon took care of quickly with great pre-service date communication. However, post service I had an issue with one of my front lights that developed. Took my car back in to Icon and they discovered the issue was due to undetected damage to the assembly potentially from my first accident / visit to icon in 2022. My antenna was hit by a garage door this time....Joe took my car to the back to see what he could do & to my surprise he was able to buff it out & you couldn't even tell it had ever been hit!! My bad experience with ICON bodyshop, located in Memphis, TN. On August 1, 2024, a deer struck my vehicle on the passenger side and witnessed by a policeman. Who wrote a report. Damage noted was a broken passenger side mirror, two impression dimples on the pillar between the two side pillars as well as two dimples on each of the passenger doors. No other damage was noted. My Subaru dealer recommended ICON. They had my car for 37 days. I had to pay for a rental car. While in their shop, the passenger window was cracked/broken. It wasn't on intake. When I pick up the car on 20 September. I noticed the car had damages caused by ICON Additional damages were breaking the passenger window. Pitting the windshield. Intake pictures don't show any damage. ICON told me to have Progressive take care of the windshield, which sounds a bit fraudulent. Even if I played their "game", I'd have to pay another $500.00 deductible and be part of what seems to be a fraudulent scheme. ICON also killed my cars battery; dented, dinged and chipped paint on the front bumper area; dented and chipped paint on the passenger door, and caused further damage by scraping it with tools and even painted over dead bugs on the front of the car! They were unwilling to take responsibility for their damages. I went to my Subaru dealer and met the service manager, who inspected the car. He advised he contract ICON and have them make it 100% right. They use ICON for all their body shop work. Because of his involvement, ICON's owner got involved and promised ICON would make it right. I took my car back on 9/30/24, and they kept it for four more days to fix their damages found after getting my car home. ICON, and its team lack a professional work ethic, compassion and honesty with customers. There were always delays. ICON blamed Progressive their "inability to find parts" on the open market! I bailed out my car on 9/20/24, after paying several hundred dollars in "supplemental charges". Progressives wasn't willing to pay their overcharges. I was informed as much as 70% of ICON's non-commercial accounts are up charged, above insurance rates. The car was also filthy inside and out. Dirty handprints, trash, dirt and "extra parts" in the spare tire area, and footprints on the inside tire cover. This is why I would not recommend ICON body shop. Nor can I recommend Progressive Insurance to cover current market cost of repairs. read more

Had a fender bender in my 4-Runner. Icon came highly recommended by the dealership from where I purchased my car. Highly impressed with their professionalism. Icon also went to bat for me against my insurance company. They use original factory parts on your car, not aftermarket parts like other places use. Funny how insurance companies want you to pay their high prices but then try and sell your car out to the people who will put the cheapest stuff back into your car. Not at Icon. Worst experience I've ever had. The general manager/part owner, Mario Donati, was the advisor I dealt with. I had been waiting since May for my July 12 repair appointment. I'd contacted him a week prior to confirm my appointment and he stated it was fine to bring it in. I dropped off my car on said date, a week later the work hadn't even been started. He couldn't tell me anything about when the repair process would start. What was point in bringing in my car for repair if it was just going to sit there? Mario was unmoved by my dissatisfaction. He was nonchalant and had a blatant disregard for my time. He acted as though his time was more valuable. To make matters worse, ICON cashed my insurance check paying for repairs! I didn't endorse the check as it was written to both myself and ICON. It's definitely fraud since they didn't do any repairs on my vehicle. Needless to say, I picked up my car that afternoon. Under no uncertain terms should ICON have deposited that insurance check. I notify my insurance company to get the payment back. What I notice most in my 2 recent visits to ICON is that there are a tremendous number of damaged vehicles waiting to be repaired in the lot and parked on the street. I remember one Volvo with its bumper almost entirely ripped and just flapping off its rear end. The car had been sitting in the same spot over a week when I took mine in. In other words, they are getting people to bring them in but their cars sit for weeks. ICON can't meet the demand to their customers and repair cars in a timely manner. Mario failed to notify me they were backlogged and "one of the guys was on vacation". Hmm, that's a management problem. He stated ICON couldn't meet my expectation of getting my car back to me in 3 weeks!! Unprofessional. I wished I'd know that when I spoke to him before my appointment. Dishones. How long do you think you can hold my car hostage? No one want to rent a car indefinitely rent a car nor should they have to. When they tell you it take about 5 days to repair, it'll be whenever they feel like getting to your car regardless of your time, needs, or reasonable expectation. Disrespectful. All the accolades of certified this and certified that, don't mean anything when they treat you like you don't matter. Bottom line: ICON Collision has the worst customer service. read more

Well they certainly have my loyalty for life!! A few weeks back my man and I were doing some shopping for our pups at Hollywood Feed on Poplar and as we walked out of the door, arms full of bags to spoil our babies, we saw this girl just slam into my brand new 2014 Lexus SUV (present from my mom). OK, she didn't slam into it but she did leave a huge scratch across the passenger AND driver side door. We both just stood there mouths wide open in shock. It took everything I had not to burst into tears. I called my insurance company immediately and told them what happened. Of course it wasn't my fault...it was parked and I wasn't even in it! Anyways, they assured me her insurance would be paying for it...except her "insurance" rejected the claim because she didn't have insurance coverage anymore which meant I get stuck with the bill. Joy oh joy. I called Lexus and asked them who I should get to do the bodywork and they suggested Icon Collision. I went here this morning in a VERY bad mood but as soon as I walked in, I realized maybe this wouldn't be so bad. You see, I am used to garages and auto repair shops that are disgusting...ones that are dirty, without AC, actively try to overcharge me because I'm a girl and no where to sit. That is not Icon. Icon not only has AC but a flat screen TV for you to enjoy and very clean couches. And then Jonathan came over and rocked my world in the best way possible. He went outside to inspect the damage and said that he could buff those scratches right out for FREE and in 30 minutes!!!!! He said that there might be a scratch or two you could still notice, but only if you were REALLY inspecting it. I asked what it would be to paint it and he said $600. Ummmm sign me up for the free buff job!! (I tried to pay again and again or at least tip...he wouldn't here of it. He just asked that we use them in the future for something major.) This kind of customer service is nonexistent anymore and if (heaven forbid) something happens to my car you best believe I will only go here and, of course, ask for Jonathan. This place is the best... My VW CC was rear ended and I took it to ICON knowing that It would be repaired correctly ... They keep me informed doing the process and made sure my car was repaired with genuine VW Parts.. My service associate Mike was very courteous and professional.. When he brought my car out I said Mike it doesn't look like I thought it would... He looked surprised and asked what was the problem ... I looked at him smiled and said the birds have it covered.... He immediately took it to the back and washed off all the bird poop... My car looks awesome the paint is a perfect match and the rear end looks brand new now I need a new front end I give them an A+ I will refer everyone I know.. I was referred to icon after someone hit my car. It has been the worst customer service experience and biggest headache. I was hit in November. It's March and I still have to play phone tag trying to get in touch and follow up with icon. The person handling my case has dropped the ball several times. He constantly asks me to call the 3rd party insurance company and the insurance keeps telling me they cannot talk to me and they need to talk to the person at the collision center. He's telling me he calls them but the insurance rep tells me they haven't heard from icon. Icon tells me they will follow up but they never do. They never return calls. The person is rude and acts like he doesn't remember my situation every time I call. He just blatantly doesn't want to deal with it. It's March and I still haven't received the follow up I was told I would receive. I will never recommend this business to anyone. I wish I could give them zero stars. read more

Love this body shop! Our insurance company wanted to use another body shop but I refused to let anyone else other than Icon Collision fix our vehicle. Our vehicle had extensive damage so we were worried of how it would actually look when the repair was completed. When we got the vehicle back, it looked better than when we dropped it off. We were amazed at how great it looked. I spoke with Tim and Britt on several occasions and they were great to work with as well. We recently used the services of ICON Collision in Memphis. We couldn't have been happier, felt safer or more well cared for. The rear of our 2004 Honda Odyssey unexpected let rain into the rear of the van. We found the van's rear "grocery cavity" full of water. Mike of ICON Collision was just wonderful to us; patient, courteous, caring & a good educator. He explained to us the caulking on both sides of the rear of the van needed replacing & the rear of the van had to be made wet again to trace the leak. Repair price was fair and not excessive. It was ready when we were promised. We were called when promised to be called. We had no indoor place to store the car after the work so that it would properly dry with the rear door open (It kept raining again). ICON generously kept the vehicle in the interior of the shop for extra days, treating us like family. Don't use another body shop. Just great folk. read more

So let me start by saying I have always reported to The BBB , I wrote a review a couple months back stating how I'm pleased I was with this establishment, they still had my car at this moment. Within an hour of me posting my review my fiancée got a call from the owner threatening thy if I did not take my review down I could come get my car how it sat (diver side completely tore apart) my fiancée convinced me to take it down until we got our car. Backstory :my fiancée wrecked my Dodge Charger on my birthday. No major damage a bunch of bumps and scrapes and my alignment got knocked off track. We icon took 3 weeks to Evan examine my car. Another two weeks to order parts and another two weeks putting them on. My date got changed three times price changed constantly and my phone calls were ignored. I was told if I wanted brand new parts I had to pay more ? WHO PUTS USED PARTS ON? I was spoken down to and my intelligible questioned. When we finally got my car there were major problems. My door did not shut right. My hood was not lined up. They scratched my tiny on my windshield and driver side window. I have rust damage from them leaving my car outside in the rain. Next time I will come get my car as it sits and sue the fuck out of y'all. I promise. Now call my fiancée and tell him to take this down! read more

So I just so happened to wreck my husbands beloved challenger last week. So trusting my fellow yelpers and Google, I decided to go to ICON. I first got an estimate from Mario after he throughly inspected the damage. When I dropped off the car the next day, I met with Jonathan. He is the nicest guy! He told me not to worry, that he will fix the damage and make the car look just like it did before. Well, I picked up the car today and let's just say it looks amazing. Thanks to ICON it looks like I didn't wreck it at all. I am so thankful for Jonathan. He fixed the challenger and my husband was really happy with his work. Not only does ICON have a nice shop, their customer service skills are exceptional and they really care about the work they do. They are very knowledge and they follow up with you throughout the entire process of the repair. Hopefully I won't need to use them again but if something unfortunate happens this is my go to shop! My son chose them to repair his vehicle because they was close by his home. Our insurance company was going to pay. Upon getting there my son dealt with Michael and of course everything sounded good. Allstate informed us they found the bumper that was needed for repair. However, Michael informed my son that the bumper was cheap and that if it was used for repair it wouldn't last and he would be bringing his car back in two weeks or every month. But if he wanted he could get him a better bumper for an additional $104 dollars (that he would have to pay out of pocket). Considering what he was told my son decided to do that, even though he didn't have the extra money. He picked up his vehicle on Tuesday April 2nd and on Tuesday April 9th, he noticed that the bumper was falling off. He took it back on Wednesday morning and was told that the wrong brackets were used and they supposedly repaired it with better brackets this time. I wholeheartedly think they used the bumper that Allstate supplied but charged him extra for a supposedly new one. Allstate paid them a nice amount for repair so them doing him like that is sad. I always say when you get over and mistreat people it's going to come back to you. I will not recommend them. read more
