My bad experience with ICON bodyshop, located in Memphis, TN. On August 1, 2024, a deer struck my vehicle on the passenger side and witnessed by a policeman. Who wrote a report. Damage noted was a broken passenger side mirror, two impression dimples on the pillar between the two side pillars as well as two dimples on each of the passenger doors. No other damage was noted. My Subaru dealer recommended ICON. They had my car for 37 days. I had to pay for a rental car. While in their shop, the passenger window was cracked/broken. It wasn't on intake. When I pick up the car on 20 September. I noticed the car had damages caused by ICON Additional damages were breaking the passenger window. Pitting the windshield. Intake pictures don't show any damage. ICON told me to have Progressive take care of the windshield, which sounds a bit fraudulent. Even if I played their "game", I'd have to pay another $500.00 deductible and be part of what seems to be a fraudulent scheme. ICON also killed my cars battery; dented, dinged and chipped paint on the front bumper area; dented and chipped paint on the passenger door, and caused further damage by scraping it with tools and even painted over dead bugs on the front of the car! They were unwilling to take responsibility for their damages. I went to my Subaru dealer and met the service manager, who inspected the car. He advised he contract ICON and have them make it 100% right. They use ICON for all their body shop work. Because of his involvement, ICON's owner got involved and promised ICON would make it right. I took my car back on 9/30/24, and they kept it for four more days to fix their damages found after getting my car home. ICON, and its team lack a professional work ethic, compassion and honesty with customers. There were always delays. ICON blamed Progressive their "inability to find parts" on the open market! I bailed out my car on 9/20/24, after paying several hundred dollars in "supplemental charges". Progressives wasn't willing to pay their overcharges. I was informed as much as 70% of ICON's non-commercial accounts are up charged, above insurance rates. The car was also filthy inside and out. Dirty handprints, trash, dirt and "extra parts" in the spare tire area, and footprints on the inside tire cover. This is why I would not recommend ICON body shop. Nor can I recommend Progressive Insurance to cover current market cost of repairs.

I was once a loyal Service King customer after having body work done there a few times. I bought a new Audi A5 from Gossett and within one week a neighbor backed into it with his truck. Icon assured me they would get the color matched and dented panel replaced promptly. They did just that! Expert customer service Pain-free scheduling Quality workmanship Timely repair Kudos!!!

Our 2020 Lexus 350RX Sport had a little damage to the back lid. Icon fixed it and returned it to us looking brand new. If we ever need vehicle repair in the future, this is our collision center of choice. They even gave us some money back that we would never known about. Honest!

Performance Tire was recommended by my mechanic (Brian Massey) as a good choice for tires. I've…read morebought from independents, factory stores (i.e Firestone, Goodyear) and chains (Sams, Costco, NTB, Tire Mart). If I have to buy tires I REALLY like buying from Performance. I've now bought tires for two different vehicles and stopped in for rotations, balances, and "...something doesn't feel right" visits. My resounding 5 Star Rating (which I VERY RARELY give) is for a few different reasons. 1.) The advice is always founded upon reasonable and logical decision making born of experience. It seems every time I did business with chains and factory stores I sensed that the diagnosis and advice was influenced on a need to hit corporate revenue goals. No matter who I spoke with at Performance (Syd the Owner, Sam his son, or the guys in the shop - sorry don't know their names), the diagnosis and advice was as straight as you'd get from your best friend. It's more than simple honesty or integrity; it's...just the way you want to be dealt with. 2.) I shopped PT's prices both times I was buying new. The prices were always competitive. Though I'd possibly pay an extra $40 to $100 versus chains and factory stores due to my positive experiences, it would rub against my thrifty (cheap-skate) instincts. The first time I visited the price given to me was about $40 or $50 more than the same 4 tires at Sam's. I asked Sam, "...convince me why I should buy here." I don't remember exactly what he said, though I'm sure it included "free rotation/balance and other stuff", but what sealed the deal in my mind essentially, "we'll take care of you if there's a problem". 3.) To my pleasant surprise they can get what ever tire I've asked for at a good price and (so far) the same day. Because I'm not stuck on one brand and research CR, Car & Driver, Tire Rack and other sites, I usually desire only one or two tires over all other choices. Even though in both of my cases PT didn't have my preferred tire 'in house', they confirmed the positives/negatives about my selection and were able to get it at a price comparable to others. My only complaint with Performance Tire is they close too early on Saturday (noon) and are closed Sundays; the two days when I've needed emergency service.

I tried to get a response from the text chain that was initiated when I booked the appointment, called 2 different phone numbers I could find online and emailed as well. No response. Then 3 hours later they get back to me and I asked that they still come. The issue with my car was concerning back brake lights that would not turn off and were draining the battery. The mechanic inspected and diagnosed that I needed my brake light switch replaced (also back brake light bulbs were burned out). He quoted me $420-$460 to fix it (that price included the $140 inspection and fuel surcharge fee). That sounded crazy to me so I just paid the $140 base fee said forget it, don't do the repair. I did some research on YouTube and checked out the situation myself, and it turned out to be just the rubber bumper piece that depresses the switch that had rotted and I was able to replace it with a bolt and washer I had on-hand for free. And anyway, if it had been a bad switch, that part only costs $10-$20. I'm pissed that the guy was going to over-charge me and I can't help but think it was because I'm a woman.
