However, when i arrived to pick up the vehicle, I discovered that the part was still missing and had not even been installed. I had already made arrangements to pick up the vehicle based on their confirmation that the repairs were complete, only to find out that it wasn't actually ready. I then had to wait an additional hour while they addressed the situation. After having my vehicle for over a month and paying a substantial amount for the repair, this level of communication, organization, and quality control is completely unacceptable. if a final inspection had actually been performed, this should have been caught before i was told the car was ready. Overall, this was a very frustrating and unsatisfactory experience. I expected much better communication and attention to detail, especially given the amount of time and money involved.

I wouldn't bring my car back here even if it was the last shop within 1,000 miles…read more My husband and I were in an accident a few years ago in our SUV. I chose this shop because of all the raving reviews online but now I feel as though they were all written by the employees and family members because there's absolutely no way people are actually celebrating this terrible work they do. There was also a nasty worker there named Rebecca Ellegant at the time who was probably the most unpleasant person I've ever had to deal with and coming from NYC, that says a lot. I still have the emails of her being horrible so I'm glad she was let go. After they "repaired" my vehicle. We flew our regular mechanic out from NYC to check the car. When we pulled up, the hitch step in the back was put on literally at an angle, they never fixed the exhaust pipe that was PUSHED numerous feet into the vehicle undercarriage until I asked them why it wasn't repaired. To top it all off, the bumper has MASSIVE gaps between the rest of the car and the bumper itself, which were never there before. I addressed this numerous times and have emails and pictures to prove this as well. After complaining, they said it's because they needed certain OEM parts and that they'll reach out to insurance yet again and get new parts. They got the new part and it was still messed up. The exhaust pipe was pulled and put RIGHT against the hitch step which ended up burning off the end cap of it. It literally melted the end of the hitch step... who doesn't think this through??? Now the hitch gets BLISTERING HOT when we drive the car because the exhaust is essentially sitting straight on it. And to top it all off, the trunk door has been leaking any time it rains this entire time. When looking at the vehicle, you can see numerous areas that the replacement parts were not lined up in which of course causes issues with water getting in. The muffler shop they sent the car to ended up stealing our exhaust cover and said they removed it and "threw it away" because it was rusted.... It's a stainless steel cover. It can't rust. After I demanded they return it, they magically found it and gave it back... with no rust. They handed it to me in a closed taped box. What clowns. This shop absolutely RUINED our SUV, it took them MONTHS to "repair" it and now years later I'm still dealing with the mess of a job this shop did. They had the audacity to send a thank you letter after the fact to thank us for choosing their shop. Choosing this shop was the biggest mistake I ever made when it comes to my cars and the city of Memphis. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. DONT GO TO THIS SHOP. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAR.

To be clear Macco was not the cheapest but sometimes you get what you pay for. The paint took about 4 days longer than was promised, so if it's your only vehicle you may want to make arrangements for other transportation to and beyond the promised by date. The paint job itself is 5 stars, the reason I'm not giving a five/star review is when I picked up my vehicle it had been left with dust from the priming / sanding of the paint on both the exterior and exterior, it wouldn't have taken much effort to wash the vehicle before delivery. Also another negative were the advertised military discount of 10%, my bill was $630 10 % should have been at least $60 but instead I was told that the discount didn't cover parts??, not the total bill. So instead of my bill being $570 on came to $600, now I'm no math wiz but that is not 10% and is clearly deceptive. In summary the paint job was top notch, they may leave your vehicle dusty from the sanding, the discount is not off your total bill and plan for the shop taking a few extra days getting your vehicle back to you. Update, Austin did reach out to me in regards to the 10% discount and explained to me in great detail the reason for the 10% not being off the total bill, which I clearly understood, I thought this was above and beyond what would normally be expected after the the sale and I would recommend Macco and look forward to taking my vehicles there in the future, outstanding business and respectable and responsible community business partner.

One thing that helped lower the price significantly is that Rye's was able to repair and reuse a damaged plastic panel that the other shop wanted to discard and replace with a $600 new part from the Audi dealership.
