I reached out to a number of shops, and R&j was the most responsive and reasonable. I am so glad I did. Jorge was very communicative, and texted me to let me know when he would be arriving. He brought all the tools needed to diagnose the problem. Since it was an easy diagnosis, Jorge did not charge a diagnostic fee, which was very reasonable. Jorge let me order the parts I needed, and even suggested I replace the serpentine belt at no additional cost. He replaced the alternator, battery and removed the aftermarket alarm that was draining the electrical system. He even diagnosed the brake issue that we found once the truck was running. However, my mother took her Toyota Prius here recently due to a headlight being out. She was quoted $100 for her headlight to be fixed. They called her and told her due to the type of headlight it was actually going to cost $250. As they were doing work on the vehicle they saw the Ballast was broken. They called her and told her it was going to be $500. When she got to the shop to pick up her vehicle, the bill was $680. We were really shocked with how expensive it was. With some negotiating the price went down to $580. Once we paid and got to the vehicle there were multiple easily observable scratch marks on the paint near the headlight. Thankfully they ended up agreeing to fix the paint scratches. The prices for the parts seemed excessive compared to what you can find online. I would recommend bringing your own parts here.

I do, however, wish I would have used them before wasting a lot of money, time, and frustration, on another Hyundai dealership in Woodbridge. So Safford after that incident with the other place that had my vehicle for over 2-months and did not offer a loaner so I had to pay out of pocket for a rental. Safford was able to get my car working within 2-weeks. Mind you they also said they don't offer loaners and this is a problem especially when the last time I was at their establishment I was there for over 5-hours. I spend a lot of money and not even a month later now my engine light has been on ever since. Instead of them offering me to come in for a free diagnostic and loaner car...they just said come in and we will see what is wrong. Which means to me I will have to wait all day even with an appointment as if I don't have a life and pay for them to "take a look". This is unacceptable especially since I spent a great deal of money already with y'all back in December 2024 and anything wrong with the car you should have found during those 5-6 hours y'all had my car. On top of that they put the oil sticker date "December 2025" as if I would only need one oil change all of 2025...please pay attention to detail y'all! So no I will not be going back to Safford because I found a new place where you don't need to make any appointments for service and I will be able to get a loaner (because I still have a warranty) or dropped off at my house. Instead of waiting around all day as if I work there.

Disappointed by Owner's Unprofessional and Abusive Behavior…read more I visited Convenience Tire & Auto on April 3, 2025, and had a positive first impression. I spoke at length with the owner about his family-run business and even learned that his son races in NASCAR. The service at that time seemed friendly and sincere. Fast forward to today (June 2, 2025), I called to ask about the warranty for the tires I purchased. I initially spoke with the owner's wife, who was kind and respectful both over the phone and in person. However, my experience with the owner was drastically different. His tone was rude and dismissive from the beginning, which was surprising given our previous interaction. When I asked about warranty coverage, he told me there was none. Later, I reviewed my invoice and saw a 40,000-mile tread warranty clearly listed. I called back to clarify, and he told me the warranty might be offered through the tire manufacturer and asked me to bring the tire in. I accepted that the issue may have been due to a road hazard, and understood that it likely wouldn't be covered. Still, I decided to visit in person to get clarification for future reference. When I originally bought the tires, I was told there was a warranty. On the first phone call today, I was told there was none. On the second call, I was told the tread warranty is through the tire manufacturer. I simply wanted to clear up the conflicting information in case I chose to return as a customer in the future. Unfortunately, instead of explaining things calmly, the owner became visibly irritated, raised his voice, used profanity, and told me to "get the f*** out" of his shop. I stayed calm, didn't argue, and simply rolled my tire out of the store while he continued shouting. His wife, who had been courteous throughout, walked away--clearly embarrassed by his behavior. Everyone has off days, but that's no excuse for cussing out a customer and acting aggressively in a professional setting. There are security cameras in the front lobby where this occurred, around 11:45 a.m. on June 2, 2025. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through a similar experience. I will not be returning.

I talked to Drew and he said to bring it down. They kept the RV for 2 days and replaced 2 u joints, idler arm and repacked the front tire bearings. They did great work and they were reasonable.
