    Salty wonton soup

Honestly not impressed. The buffet was empty but there were plenty of customers. The food was not really replenished. Then I asked the manager what was in the steamed buns and he said he didn't know - but it was definitely not the labeled chicken feet. I got up to say hello to a familiar face and the waitress took my brand new plate. So I had to go remake my plate but to missing items. The sushi was non existent but the pieces I had were ok. and the soups were really underwhelming. Some of the food items were good - the eggplant and the General Tsos but not too impressive. And dessert was not up to standards. The service was ok- at best. Getting some more water was a chore but she had no problem taking the plates right under your fork. And the pop music was loud and the restaurant was modern and clean- creating a good feel and good vibes. But overall the 30$ a person..... Will I be back? I don't think so.

This was a refreshing new experience to the typical all you can eat buffet. This place is SPOTLESS! Everything is clean, presented well and fresh. The staff are also friendly and accommodating. What sets this apart is their variety. They have several choices of Dim Sum which was delicious and usually not available at other local buffets. I came here for lunch, and the dining room only had a few customers, but I can imagine it gets busy during dinner. The only "con" is that I thought it was a tad pricey in comparison. I'll take it considering how clean, and fresh the food is.

Came hungry, left full -- mission accomplished. Ichiraku Buffet has a big selection, solid sushi for a buffet, and a hibachi station that actually makes it worth coming back. Grab the fresh stuff and you'll be happy. Place was clean, staff kept things moving. Not everything slaps, but that's buffet math. Know what to hit and what to skip. Not fancy. Definitely satisfying. I'd run it back.

Great service with friendly greetings, waitress was super attentive, good food quality - much better than most local Asian buffets and having more premium options. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and playing popular pop music.

When you walk in there's a counter with some premade food. About 6 tables to eat in. Private parking lot around the corner of the restaurant. TV played South East Asian music videos. By the time we left 4 other groups came in to dine and 3 or 4 pick up orders. Excellent food here. Hubby got the shrimp pho. Ginormous bowl with a flavorful broth. I got the fried fish with ginger scallion. A bit messy to eat but probably the best fish I ever ate in my life. It was fried whole (almost whole. No head included) and over a salad of lettuce, cucumber, and tomato then slathered with the most delicious ginger scallion sauce ever. In my head I was thinking that this would be an excellent keto meal but the sauce definitely has some sweetness and thickened with cornstarch. We also ordered chicken nime chow. The chicken is not sauced or anything so you would think it would be plain tasting. But what ever they do to it it brings out the flavor of the chicken. The dipping sauce was not super flavorful. Slightly sweet and acidic topped with crushed peanuts. Teapot was served with a very fragrant tea. Had to ask for a refill. All these dishes plus one Vietnamese iced coffee came to just under $50 Will probably come here again.

Banh Xeo shrimp: was soggy by the time it arrived due to heat trapped in the packaging but I crisped it up in the air fryer and it held up well. Came with my selected shrimp filling with bean sprouts and onions; a generous bag of lettuce, cukes and Thai basil. Then some nuoc mam fish sauce, chili paste and peanuts for dipping. Veggies were clean and washed. Nime chow chicken: fresh filling ingredients, sauce with peanuts and good amount of chicken. Viet iced coffee: good portion size medium cup but my complaint it it didn't seem as strong as the regular viet coffee. Also not enough condensed milk. Had to add sugar to mine.

We were sadly in a rush and had to be out by a certain time to catch a show, and our server understood the assignment and got us out on the tight schedule we needed. I'm just sad I had to slurp down my soup so quickly as it was absolutely DELICIOUS! I ordered the Snow Mountain Ramen - the creamy tofu broth is unlike anything I've had and was so so unique and delicious. I thought about it for at least a week straight after eating it and am still dying to go back to get more. I also got the Iced Rose Matcha drink - $10 felt too pricy for this but I wanted a fun drink and a little caffeine kick - and again the flavors were unique and tasty. Both my friend and I happened to see someone we knew here - it's definitely a popular spot! It was packed on a Saturday night but it was still pretty quick for us to get a table for 2. Being a downtown city restaurant, the tables feel a bit cramped and I was a little too close to the table next to me for comfort - claustrophobics beware (honestly the soup is worth it though!!) Parking is pretty easy in the lot, although Holy crap they need to fix the potholes / harsh drop-off where it meets the street, and it still was not fully plowed many weeks after the big snowstorm (it's a shared lot so not a Y Noodle specific issue, but just saying). The only thing that was unpleasant were the bathrooms - I get it was a busy weekend night, but they reeked of a litter box the second you stepped in, the floor was dirty and very wet with unknown substances, and the Dyson hand dryer is at such a weird, too high level on the wall that it sprayed water in my face. Everything else was a dream, can't wait to go back! Hopefully the bathrooms were just a fluke.

Not pictured was the tonkatsu meal and my pork belly buns (appetizer for meal). I drank the beer+soju pairing which was good. I never had soju before today. It tasted like apple liquor. I wish that our server had communicated that food comes out as it is ready. My meal came out 10 minutes before everyone else's which is awkward. Although this isn't fine dining, I find a sporadic placement of food to be strange because I sat with my food in front of me waiting for everyone else's. Service is not necessarily friendly, but they are attentive.

I was super intrigued by their carbonara dish too, but at the time of dining, it was $42 (market price) and couldn't justify it. The crispy rice is one of their more popular apps. The savory-sweet sauce coated the tuna and made each bite a fun mix of crunchy and smooth (from the tuna and avocado). The wagyu skewers were also solid! One order comes with three skewers, but I would have found it more valuable if it came with 4-5. The salad was pretty typical of a traditional Caesar but I liked that they offered greens for a healthier option. Among all the pastas, the mac and cheese was the most decadent. It comes with pieces of bacon inside and is topped w bread crumbs. Super yum and recommend sharing with another person! The pesto and squid pastas were less impressive but still tasty. The other half of their menu is dedicated to a fun selection of hand rolls. I opted out this time, but my friends enjoyed. The fish quality is decent but my friends recommend sticking to their pastas.

Come on ... how much does it cost you to actually throw in a tiny cup of hot mustard? I mean, who doesn't eat hot mustard with Chinese food? It used to be that Chinese food was a fast and cheap dinner ... a combo meal here is $18, after substitution. I want to know ... who the fuck has ever actually eaten a shitty chicken wing from a Chinese restaurant without substituting it out? Probably nobody. You eat fresh BBQ chicken wings at a tailgate, not from a dirty restaurant the size of a college dorm room. Of course they know any sane person with working taste buds will substitute nasty skimpy wings for something else ... so they include them in every combo meal knowing people will pony up the extra $1.50 - $2.50. A combo with 3 crab rangoon, 3 chicken fingers (substituted for wings) and an egg roll now costs almost $20. The quality here is on par with a mall food court ... which is to say, not great. Dry AF fried rice with fatty cubes of pork which have the consistency and taste of a pencil eraser. The rice was almost chewy it was so dry amd barely tasted like pencil shavings it was so bland. The crab rangoon was decent ... filled with fake cream cheese and almost no crab. If you are drunk, it's fine and filling. Nothing you couldn't throw in an air fryer from a frozen box. The chicken fingers were okay. Likeky frozen a year ago and thrown into a deep fat frier hours before you ordered and kept under a heat lamp. If you are drunk or high, you'll leave a 4/5 star review. If you are unfortunately sober when you eat this, it will remind you of the dsys you'd scrape your lawn mowing money together and splurge on Chinese food from the mall food court when you were in middle school. Overall, this is buffet food served as fresh made. The fact that everything had almost zero taste ... they better start putting hot mustard and soy sauce in orders unless that want continued 2/3 stars. Bottom line ... I was hoping for good old fashioned American style strip mall Chinese food. What I got ... sucked.
