Good/Drinks: I really want to focus on the positive regarding this location first, and I have to…read moresay the margarita I got here was very strong and definitely worth the price. When it comes to the food, it's hard to fully judge because of our experience with the service. The food I did try was pretty good, the meats were fresh, and some of the sides that came with them were really tasty. I mainly got full on the unlimited appetizers, which I really liked. Due to our service we didn't get a lot of items we truly wanted. Location: This location has a modern look with some nice traditional touches. It felt spacious, and we were seated in an area for larger groups. It's definitely a casual place that's good for families and get togethers. They do have private free parking. Service: The service is the reason I'm giving this place three stars. We were a party of 12 and divided by two tables of 6. We had two servers assigned to us. The women waitress was very friendly, but the older male waiter made the experience unpleasant. The process wasn't explained when we arrived, and we were supposed to circle the meats we wanted on a paper. However, he only asked one person at our table of 6 what they wanted, took the paper away before the rest of us could order, and told him he would bring the food which btw my friend only circled two items the guy rushed him and said "is ok I bring". About 10 minutes later, a cart full of meats that none of us ordered was brought to our table. When we asked for the items we actually wanted, he told us we had to eat what was already had the cart before he would bring anything else. I explained that nobody at our table had ordered those meats, but instead of acknowledging the mistake, he blamed the girl waitress, I don't think he realized I was watching him the whole time. I told the girl Waitress idk why he's trying to find who to blame when it was him. Thankfully, she was very accommodating and made sure we received the items we had originally wanted. 20% automatic charge due to the size of the group which I do feel like it's fair if the service was to par, but unfortunately it wasn't and we still paid that. Truthfully, I wouldn't come back. There are so many new hot pot restaurants in the area that I'd rather try. After reading other reviews, I noticed this seems to be a common experience.

We got the Brasa Tray (Quarter Chicken, Pork Ribs, and Picaña served with chaufa rice, lo mein, fried yucca and pico de gallo), which was more than enough for 4 people. Even as a vegetarian, I left full from the fried rice, noodles, yucca, and plantains, all of which were tasty but didn't blow my mind. The accompanying sauces were great. My family really enjoyed all the meats though, which they said were well-cooked and flavorful. We also got Chicha Morada (beverage made by simmering native purple corn with fruits and warm spices), which was refreshing. Service was fast and friendly. There's a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. 8/10 would recommend!

Neither was the best I've ever had, but both were definitely good and I'd probably order them again. They also have a steam table with some of the food already prepared when you walk in. I noticed the beef sticks sitting right in front of it, so I figured I'd give them a try. Unfortunately, I wouldn't order those again. They were very fatty and seemed undercooked in the middle. Overall, I'm glad I gave this place a try. The food was decent, but I think I'll stick with the loc lac and banh mi if I come back.

They do have a menu - takeout or dine in (few tables but the space is small) and they also have cafeteria style prepared foods that you can peruse. Located on Reservoir near the Cranston line, there is a small parking lot next to the storefront and some street parking as well. I called in an order for Chicken Mee Ka Tang (Cantonese Noodles), Beef Pho, Cold Cut banh mi, Lort (Cambodian eggrolls) and a Vietnamese coffee for the mister. When we got there I was enticed by the offerings and got a small container of the braised pork and eggs and stuffed bitter melon (don't knock it people, it is an acquired taste, lol). We really enjoyed everything we had but our faves were the banh mi (great flavor and didn't skimp on the meats at all!) and the Mee Ka Tang - it did have a bit more gravy than I'm used to but really great flavors - add a little bit of chili oil or sriracha and chefs kiss! The pork and eggs were a tad bit too sweet and pork was tougher than I'd like other than that, everything was delicious. Service was super quick and food was ready as promised. We didn't have to wait for it at all which I can appreciate! Looking forward to returning to this mom and pop shop!! Can't wait to come back!

We ordered: Maize Runner (fried) - Sweet corn and chicken dumplings (10) served with a summer fruit mayo dipping sauce. Shrimply the Best - Shrimp tempura, Spam, and egg with tonkatsu sauce and house mayo. Service was prompt, and our food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The dumplings were heavily fried. While we enjoyed the filling, the exterior was overdone and overwhelmed some of the flavor. The shrimp sandwich was quite heavy, although the shrimp tempura itself was tasty. While the food wasn't quite for us, service was quick and friendly, and others may enjoy the fusion-style flavors more than we did.

We were sadly in a rush and had to be out by a certain time to catch a show, and our server understood the assignment and got us out on the tight schedule we needed. I'm just sad I had to slurp down my soup so quickly as it was absolutely DELICIOUS! I ordered the Snow Mountain Ramen - the creamy tofu broth is unlike anything I've had and was so so unique and delicious. I thought about it for at least a week straight after eating it and am still dying to go back to get more. I also got the Iced Rose Matcha drink - $10 felt too pricy for this but I wanted a fun drink and a little caffeine kick - and again the flavors were unique and tasty. Both my friend and I happened to see someone we knew here - it's definitely a popular spot! It was packed on a Saturday night but it was still pretty quick for us to get a table for 2. Being a downtown city restaurant, the tables feel a bit cramped and I was a little too close to the table next to me for comfort - claustrophobics beware (honestly the soup is worth it though!!) Parking is pretty easy in the lot, although Holy crap they need to fix the potholes / harsh drop-off where it meets the street, and it still was not fully plowed many weeks after the big snowstorm (it's a shared lot so not a Y Noodle specific issue, but just saying). The only thing that was unpleasant were the bathrooms - I get it was a busy weekend night, but they reeked of a litter box the second you stepped in, the floor was dirty and very wet with unknown substances, and the Dyson hand dryer is at such a weird, too high level on the wall that it sprayed water in my face. Everything else was a dream, can't wait to go back! Hopefully the bathrooms were just a fluke.

The food came quickly and was presented beautifully, and the drinks were so good I had to have a second. We checked in with the host on the first floor, but she escorted us to the second floor to be seated. I always liked that this restaurant seems to be a small house converted into a restaurant since it literally makes me feel at [someone's] home. We were given QR codes to scan for the menu; not my favorite. I overheard another table ask for paper menus, so it appears there is that option. For a starter, we ordered handmade lamb dumplings and for entrees, original meefen and lamb on dry land with a side of white rice. It all ended up coming out around the same time and the tables are a little small so it felt like an overwhelming amount of food, but it was actually the perfect amount for two people. The lamb dumplings were flavorful, albeit, the wrappers were a tad too soft. The original meefen was very tasty, especially the minced meat. However, the uden noodles don't do a great job of absorbing sauces, so it felt like a lot of the oils and flavor were left behind. The lamb on dry land was good, but it was difficult to eat especially two people. We didn't realize it would be meat on a stick, similar to a turkey leg but less meaty. We ended up eating the easy parts, but took the bone home to finish out of the public eye. The crispy potatoes on top were my friend's favorite. The total was about $50 which was fair. Our waiter and other staff members did an excellent job of getting us all we needed and clearing plates as we finished. Their official website is one of the coolest I have seen since it includes audio and images, but I wish it had a description of what each item is, just like their in restaurant menu QR code.

Any Chinese restaurant that doesn't automatically include hot mustard and soy sauce in a takeout…read moreorder ... especially when their foid is bland as shit ... deserves a 2-3 star rating. Come on ... how much does it cost you to actually throw in a tiny cup of hot mustard? I mean, who doesn't eat hot mustard with Chinese food? It used to be that Chinese food was a fast and cheap dinner ... a combo meal here is $18, after substitution. I want to know ... who the fuck has ever actually eaten a shitty chicken wing from a Chinese restaurant without substituting it out? Probably nobody. You eat fresh BBQ chicken wings at a tailgate, not from a dirty restaurant the size of a college dorm room. Of course they know any sane person with working taste buds will substitute nasty skimpy wings for something else ... so they include them in every combo meal knowing people will pony up the extra $1.50 - $2.50. A combo with 3 crab rangoon, 3 chicken fingers (substituted for wings) and an egg roll now costs almost $20. The quality here is on par with a mall food court ... which is to say, not great. Dry AF fried rice with fatty cubes of pork which have the consistency and taste of a pencil eraser. The rice was almost chewy it was so dry amd barely tasted like pencil shavings it was so bland. The crab rangoon was decent ... filled with fake cream cheese and almost no crab. If you are drunk, it's fine and filling. Nothing you couldn't throw in an air fryer from a frozen box. The chicken fingers were okay. Likeky frozen a year ago and thrown into a deep fat frier hours before you ordered and kept under a heat lamp. If you are drunk or high, you'll leave a 4/5 star review. If you are unfortunately sober when you eat this, it will remind you of the dsys you'd scrape your lawn mowing money together and splurge on Chinese food from the mall food court when you were in middle school. Overall, this is buffet food served as fresh made. The fact that everything had almost zero taste ... they better start putting hot mustard and soy sauce in orders unless that want continued 2/3 stars. Bottom line ... I was hoping for good old fashioned American style strip mall Chinese food. What I got ... sucked.

Walking in there was only one other person in the restaurant during a weekend lunch hour. To order, we walked up to the counter. I ordered beef Pho and also spicy wings to share with my friend. The wings were also very flavorful, but again, didn't taste as fresh as I would have liked. While they definitely have potential with their flavors, I wouldn't go back for any dishes with meat.
