This place reminded me a lot like this place in K-Town, NYC. You had a shopping area and a food…read morecourt area. Letting you know, this has been a 4-year await to try Noble Fish sushi and let me say, I am beyond impressed. Upon arrival, you will order at the kiosk! I wanted to try something new, I ended up ordering Regular Nigiri Set [Tuna Roll, 1 Tuna Nigiri, 1 Squid Nigiri, 1 Mackerel Nigiri, 1 Octopus Nigiri, 1 Crab Stick Nigiri, 1 Egg Nigiri]. Additionally, I ordered Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll. The Squid Nigiri was interesting and melted in my mouth - lol. My less favorite was the Mackerel Nigiri, I felt like it has a metal and fishy taste. It's amazing cooked but I do not think I will consume it raw ever again. The fish was fresh and the sushi rice was soft and cooked to perfection. Overall, I would most def love to visit this place again with family and friends. The staff was beyond helpful when I had questions and super nice. The food is made quickly, so there is not a long wait. WARNING: In the back of the building, there is a lot of parking but you're not allowed to park on the left side, since those spaces below to the other businesses customers. I went on a weekday, ahead of traditional lunch time, and it was packed. The wait for made to order sushi was already 40 minutes. I had hoped to order a latte, but they only had one person working and she ignored me. I settled for premade sushi to go and it was very good. Tuna was fresh and high quality. The premade sushi was also going fast and variety was very limited. It seems they are understaffed to handle the amount of business they have.

Sushi Bon It's a place you can drive by 100 times without noticing it. It's a tiny, carry out only…read morelocation, and it's in a strip mall. I'm not sure what caught my eye this time, but I'm glad it did. The first thing you notice is the attention to detail in the front of the lobby. They could have been strictly utilitarian, without much in the way of decoration. Or, it could have been a cluttered mess of disconnected themes. Instead, what you see is placed with care. There is a giant TV screen showing beautiful coastal scenes. It's relaxing, and lifts your mood after fighting traffic on 12 Mile Road. It looks like care was taken with the knickknacks and pictures you see here, too. Everything feels just right. By the time I wrote the previous paragraph, my food was ready. Seriously, it took about five minutes. If you look at the pictures, it doesn't look like it was thrown together, but rather assembled carefully. While the ambience is nice, what really matters is the flavor of the food. And, this is where this humble little place excels. The salmon in my salmon roll was beautifully fresh, and I was given a significant amount. They were eight hearty rolls for $11. The shrimp rolls were a little over half the price, and tasty, though I prefer raw ingredients in my sushi. And, the rice was freshly made, and prepared perfectly. And, they even have a license to sell beer and wine. There are Japanese beers, but also other styles available. Everything at Sushi Bon feels just right.

I stopped by and ordered an eel, avocado and cucumber roll and a spicy tuna and veggie roll. Both…read morewere good. Restaurant bathroom was clean and front service cashier was pleasant.

Lots of seating for groups. The corn dog was surprisingly good. They are dusted with granulated sugar. Noodles were a little overdone / soggy but I still enjoyed the taste. I had a pineapple suju, which I think was way cheaper at the grocery store, but that is okay, it went well with the meal. They have many things on their menu, and they give you an ipad to order, but not everything on the menu was on the ipad, so I ordered a couple things in person with the waitstaff and thus did not pay on the ipad (I image you are able to, but we needed a paper bill since a couple items were not included). I love the serve yourself bonchon, their items were so good. The kimchi was pretty sour, the fishcakes and kimchi pancakes were my favorite. I love the cucumbers, especially the one with sliced jalapeños. Those were so good. We got a couple sushi rolls, some black bean noodles, spicy pork, soy garlic popcorn chicken, ramen, and a chicken bao. The only thing I was not overly impressed with was the bao, it was just the popcorn chicken and not worth the price. But they rest, I felt the prices were great and the portions were big. They also had tea, which was nice. This is a great place and I look forward to visiting again soon.
