This is my favorite little sushi shop. The food and service are always the best. There are usually a few sushi rolls of the day on special. The menu offers a variety of sushi rolls, apps, beto boxes, and ramen. Something for everyone.

Presentation is beautiful and sushi is delicious! Staff is kind and helpful. Nice place for a date night or if you're in the area and want really good sushi!

Had the Kawasaki roll which is raw and it was good. Tried the lion king roll for the first time and it was really good- would order again for sure. Service was mediocre and rushed. My friend ordered the firecracker and the Naruto special and they were both really good.

The food here is really good and delicious! I definitely recommend checking them out. The service is quick and the staff are very friendly.

Open until 9:20pm, guess they want to be out by 9:30pm then. Ordered two house salads, fried jalapeño, lobster roll, 2 spicy piston roll, futomaki roll and a fried spicy chicken noodle. Some Korean inspired dishes on the menu. They have fruit and different sake flavors too. This is a popular thing. The house salad is iceberg, how fantastic. The dressing is good at least. The fried jalapeños were yummy, good heat too. The fried spicy chicken noodle isn't bad. The noodles are chewy and nicely fried up. The chicken is good as well. The lobster roll is okay, not my favorite much. The naruto Mayo is definitely not my jam and gave this roll an odd and unpleasant taste for us both. I asked the one waitress for sriracha, nothing. Had the ask the waiter for it. The futomaki is okay. The spicy piston rolls are the better of the 3 different rolls, so glad we got two rolls of them. Cream cheese really makes everything so much better. The fried jalapeño was the best part of the meal. The waiter was quite attentive and nice too.

Salsa Roll , Bibimbap, and deep fried avocado stuff with crab

3 1/2 stars. Our third time here, but for dine in. The onion soup did not have the mushrooms, so they took it and added some. It was good and hot. The Tempura Yum Yum was good, but most of the batter was gone with the ends having most of the batter. But what took me back was the less than half size serving of soft shell crab, $10.95. One side was about three partial legs and no body. The other side was a slight part of the body and more partial legs. It was constructed on the plate like "Bad Bad LeRoy Brown" jig saw puzzle with quite a few pieces missing. I did let the floor know about that. Bibimbap was consistent. This time, the eggs were sunnyside up, a good thing, rather than fried. The rice had a good crisp. The BBB sauce was kinda marginal, so my kid asked for yum yum sauce. A guy behind the sushi counter said something kinda snappy to the server. The server replied back in a calmer tone. A few minutes later, my other kid asked for the same sauce. It was about half the size of a shot glass. I figured out the conversation was to make sure we were charged each 1/2 shot glass of sauce, dollar each. But they both enjoyed the bowls, though. The Tempura Yum Yum was good, but most of the batter was gone with the ends having most of the batter. The Bulgogi Bento was on the spot just as the same as the carryout. All good. Everything that should have batter, had batter and fried perfectly. I almost finished everything. The servers are pretty nice keeping things moving. After thinking we had the one, it's back to carry out and visiting different places. After feeling like being nickled and dimed on a $90 bill, maybe that concern should have been on the sorry soft shell crab quality.

Firecracker Special Roll and California Roll

Came here for the first time yesterday and was very happy I did. Service was good, friendly server, and the sushi rolls were great! Everything tasted fresh and I thought the presentation was very cute and thoughtful. I appreciated that. The spicy crab salad was very good and overall I really enjoyed it. It's a small but nice place to grab a bite to eat and I was happy to be in and out for my 30 minute lunch break. Also, I went during the lunch special and it was a good deal to get two sushi rolls for the price of one compared to if you go during dinner. The only thing I disliked is that they charge $1.00 for a small side cup of spicy Mayo. I don't think they should charge for it or should at least only charge 25-50 cents since it's just mayo and sriracha. Anyways, cute spot and I will definitely be back for lunch!

Miso soup, Tsunami Tempura Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, spicy California roll, Spicy Salmon Roll

First time going for my husband and I. Got hot tea and it was green tea vs. barley tea that you may get at other sushi places. Husband got miso soup; we think it could've used a little more miso? But obvi that's super objective. Tsunami roll was quite good; I mean who doesn't like shrimp tempura, cream cheese, and deep fried? Husband order the lunch spicy roll combo. Heads up the tuna in rolls are "mushed" if you will, not whole pieces of fish so if you don't like that texture the tuna rolls won't be for you. Every one of those were fine though. I got the beef bi bim bap. The stone bowl could've been much hotter as the rice never got crispy. The fried egg on top still had a lot of runny egg white so I had to mix quickly to have it cook. I was a little thrown off by the lettuce in the bowl but that will appear depending on the restaurant. Overall, not bad.

Is it just sushi, any American fare?

It's not ALL sushi. There's definitely cooked food as well but I don't remember if there's anything I'd call American.

They came to the table several times and took trash and our dirty plates away. I will note that they do have hot green tea and miso soup that are not on the menu (at least I didn't see it) so those are options to get too even though the are not on the menu.

Not really much of an ambiance - it's a very casual place with pretty basic decor. Everyone working there was friendly and our food was brought out to us in a reasonable amount of time. I got the classic tonkotsu ramen and it was really good! The broth was flavorful and complex, the pork was tender, and the egg perfectly jammy. Apparently they make their noodles fresh everyday. The price of a ramen bowl was on par with what I'm used to (~$20 with tax + tip) but the sushi seemed a little pricey. I will have to come back to try it.

The place is clean and well decorated albeit a bit dark inside for the middle of the day. Our server was cassandra and she was wonderful throughout our lunch. My friend isn't well versed on sushi, and I tend to be a bit more knowledgeable so between myself and Cassandra we helped them out ordering. What I really liked was their lunch specials they have Monday through Saturday for a wonderful price. I got the basic lunch box which came with salad, miso soup, 5 nigiri and the chefs choice on sushi rolls. For $17, I got a ton of food! The food itself was really generous and freshly made. I did dock a star for two seperate reasons. First, the menu was impossible to read due to the extremely small font and dark lighting. We had to use the flashlights on our phone to read the descriptions. Second, the crab rangoon was good, but could've been better. Did I like it? yes. Could it have been larger and less overcooked tasting? Also yes. Prices are competitive here and I'd like to go back and try the hibachi if possible. I found a hair in my food, which immediately ruined my appetite and raised concerns about cleanliness. The steak & chicken were BOTH extremely tough and difficult to chew. For a restaurant serving premium cuts of meat, I expected much better quality and preparation. To make matters worse, the portion was underwhelming--We received only about five small cubes of steak, & chicken - which did not justify the price or meet my expectations. Overall, the food quality, portion size, and cleanliness fell well below what I expect from a restaurant advertising premium ingredients.
