Tried Ice and Fire Ice Cream and really enjoyed it overall. We sampled the cookies and cream first and it was so good we ordered that flavor. There was a short wait, but they make everything fresh right in front of you, which is fun to watch. They chop the cookies into the liquid base, spread it out to freeze, then roll it into strips. Ours came topped with Fruit Loops (odd but surprisingly tasty), two Oreos, a Pocky, and a torched marshmallow they flame right there. The only downside was that the shop was a little hard to find, and $10 feels a bit pricey. Still, you can tell they put a lot of work into each order. I'd definitely get it again if it were closer.

Even though it's freezing outside there always time for ice cream! It was absolutely delicious, and we were served very quickly. The workers were super nice and it was also fun to see them actually roll your ice cream and make it nice and pretty!

This is an ice cream store at the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford in the food court. They're pretty popular. Service was fast. It's fun to watch how they make your order, and the toppings are cute! They sell rolled ice cream, and it was good, my first time trying it. They also sell bubble tea, smoothies, and fruit tea. There's a lot of seating, it's a nice mall.

If you've never had rolled ice cream before, definitely give Ice and Fire located in the food court at the Connecticut Post Mall a try. They have a fairly extensive menu that also includes boba tea, smoothies, and more! I always opt for the rolled ice cream since that's what they specialize in, and I'm pretty sure they're the only store around serving it too. Expect a bit of a wait though since it's made-to-order and a fairly labor-intensive process! You get to watch them craft your creation on a frozen pan, but it can take longer than 5 minutes to prepare, and even longer during peak times. The texture is denser than traditional ice cream and the colder serving temperature makes rolled ice cream less prone to melting quickly, allowing you to bask in its deliciousness for a longer period of time without it turning into a soupy mess. Personally I feel they go a little overboard with the toppings, so for a slightly less sweet experience, you should definitely customize your order a bit. It's a good option when you want a twist from the ordinary. Although Ice and Fire is Asian-inspired, the offerings are definitely Americanized to appeal to a broader audience. I'm hoping their success paves the way for more shops specializing in traditional Asian desserts in the future! Definitely need a place that offers shaved ice in the area!

First time we tried rolled ice cream. We enjoyed all the flavors and this place was conveniently located in the nearby mall near our place. Please open a location in northern NJ!

Amazing selections of ice creams, boba teas and fruit drinks! All served by friendly and efficient staff at reasonable prices, especially given the quality of the ingredients. Parking is really easy: just drive up to second level parking by Dick's Sporting Goods, and it's immediately inside by the food court. Abundant seating can be found in the food court, which has a nice ambiance in CT's largest mall. A real hidden gem!

It's pretty neat how they roll up the ice cream and how everything comes together. Came here to kill time before watching a movie in the same mall area. They have such a huge selection of different flavors.I would like to go back to order something else from the menu. If you check-in you will receive a 10% off of your order.

Snickers cream being spread to start setting into ice cream

My daughter wanted ice cream. What my ava wants, my ava gets. Anyway. The whole concept is very unique. She ordered the Snickers. The cook chopped up the candy onto the freezer plate. Then adds the cream. As it starts to form into ice cream, he then adds the sauces while chopping, folding, mixing everything together. Spreads the cream mixture flat on the plate and as it forms ice cream, begins to roll/scrape the ice cream into rolls. Then some more toppings. They have lots of options. It was pricey but she loved it. I guess it trying once.

We took the kids here for dessert and they were intrigued on how the ice cream was made . They had a Cookie Monster and a chocolate ice cream in which they really enjoyed! If your in the Milford mall please go here if you have a sweet tooth it's really good!! They also have coffee drink with boba tea and different shake to choose from aswell many different options to choose.

This is the first time for me. It is a fun way to get ice cream. It was pretty good too.

Super friendly & knowledgeable staff. Wait time can be a bit long before they start making your order as they ring out multiple people, then knockout orders. It's about $7 for the rolled ice cream, but it's fun to watch the magic happen! I ordered the Chunky Monkey it was pretty yummy, I would definitely go back to Ice & Fire again. Tip: check-in to get 10% off your order.

Ice cream made and rolled right in front of you. Freshest ice cream I have ever had. A little pricey, but worth it.

I tried a scoop of Blueberry Cheesecake & Raspberry White Chocolate in a waffle cone. They were delicious with a lot of flavor. My favorite was the Raspberry White Chocolate because it had a lot of white chocolate chips. The other people I was with got a scoop of Cookie Monster in a cup and Coffee Cookies n' Cream Milkshake. The staff was super nice and quick with the busy mall crowd. They do have a hand-held menu with the descriptions of the ice creams because the amount of ice cream in the freezers can get overwhelming. The shop opened next to the food court which was very convenient for seating. I really love this new addition to the mall, especially that it is all local ice creams. Five out of five stars all day for me!
