Thick, juicy and an ultimate hangry killer! Honestly some of the best burgers we've had in a long while. And the prices are insanely reasonable. $12 for a big burger and fries. I couldn't even finish it all. Also these have this really awesome Burger Challenge for $50. If you can finish it all in 30min it's free with a free winner shirt. It's a 6 patty cheese burger, 3 grilled cheese, 12 pieces of bacon and pieces of brisket. But comparing our large burger to the description above, I think it would be a difficult challenge. The employees are very friendly, helpful and happy. This truck is definitely worth the drive. Located right by the main entrance of Deception Pass State Park. I'll start by saying the fries were perfectly cooked and I thought they had a good flavor to them. The burger was also good. I asked for the inferno sauce on the side, cause the burger already has jalapeño on it, and boy am I glad I did. The sauce was too hot for my liking. Next to the cooler is a small retail area with an eclectic and very smart selection of curated goods, including: chili crisp; tinned fish; griddle pans; handmade Easter fudge; books about auras and autism and edibles and pizza; ultra soft scarves; Rap Snacks ramen; and lunar phase art pieces. But even more impressive than all of that is the food. Among our group of cousins etc, we ordered both banh mi sandwiches, the meatloaf sandwich, the bulgogi cheesesteak sandwich, the banh mi fries, and the chicken pho. Plus the Vietnamese iced coffee and one cocktail (Sunset Spritz). Without exception, they were delicious! The base for cooking birria can't be rushed it has to be cooked with love and allowed to develop the rich flavors of all the spices. My criteria are: 1 flavor development of the actual beef. 2 crispness of the taco itself. 3 balance of the all the ingredients inside the taco itself. 4 overall flavor and body of the consume. From my prior experiences I have had bland meat that was not seasoned properly or cooked too fast. Greasy limp tacos dipped in greasy consume that tastes like soup stock. I can always tell when the beef has been rushed. Tacos la mas fregona has hit a home run in all categories. Beef slow cooked with love, crispy tacos with perfectly balanced additions love the pickled red onions on the side. Acid plays a critical role in overall balance of any food. A lot of vendors missed this important staple. The consume was spot on. Great flavor and body without being overly salty and there was just enough oil to add to the over body and flavor without over powering it and turning it into a greasy mess. Very well done!
